We give some properties, the recurrence relations and the generating function of these polynomials with suggestions for further research.

Jankowski and Marshall. 2017).

This outline is a simplified introduction to the salient features of the system, with some general examples of what each type could mean in practice. The boundaries of the types are fluid and can overlap in theory and in practice [4,6].

Many dual sector providers, by virtue of their size, tend to focus on higher education, on the assumption that VET ‘competence’ implies that their VET entrants to HE are confident and capable in information literacy skills. While this is only one of the many challenges that such students face in their undergraduate programs, it is the most critical for most of them in their quest for academic success. All students (school leavers, gap-year participants, articulating, mature age) entering HE will face specific challenges. For articulating students, the nature of credit transfer arrangements will often mean they commence studies in units that are not designated first year units. In this case, the embedded support structures are not as prominent. The existing literature is not consistent in reports on the ...

A lot of research was carried out in the last 15 years to show the possibilities for the representdtion by GNs of di®erent objects from the area of Arti¯cial Intelligence. In a series of papers they were used for modelling in image processing. The possibilities of the GNs as a tool for modelling in this area are presented and an example of a GN-model of a writer identi¯cation system is given.

We also find the relationships between the family of the generalized k-Fibonacci polynomials and the known generalized Fibonacci polynomials. Furthermore, we find new generalizations of these families and the polynomials in matrix representation. Then we establish Cassini’s Identities for the families and their polynomials. Finally, we suggest avenues for further research.
