Due to growth and development, the physiological changes happen in the adolescent which have psychological and self-esteem will be changed. The aim is to assess the impact of structured education program regarding cyber addiction towards knowledge and attitude among adolescents. Methodology: A pre-experimental research study was conducted among school going adolescents at selected school Puducherry. Totally 81 sample in participated with purposive sampling techniques. The modified internet addiction scale for assessing knowledge and attitude inventory scale with 5 points likes scale used for the data collection. Results: The results revealed that majority bod sample 46(56.8%) had moderate knowledge and 63(77.8%) had moderate favorable attitude after structured teaching program towards cyber addiction. Gadgets like mobile, iPad and other electronic devices are a necessary evil in the modern world. ... more Gadgets like mobile, iPad and other electronic devices are a necessary evil in the modern world. These electronic devices have many advantages in the day-to-day life of human and it is a boon in terms of knowledge transfer to all age groups in a very short span of time. It has its own disadvantages and when recklessly used causes very many ill effects for the mankind. The global pandemic of Covid 19 since the year 2020 has made these gadgets available and usable for all age groups. Children are the major users and have no other option except to use these gadgets. This causes addiction in these young little minds and has a huge physical, mental and social ill health. The only way that this can be minimized though not prevented is by the way of customizing the nurturing pattern and added parental responsibilities. Parents they themselves are over worked with gadgets due to pandemic it becomes an utmost need to modify the nurturing practices to prevent gadget addiction in their children.

This compilation of training objectives was designed to assist in developing needs assessments an... more This compilation of training objectives was designed to assist in developing needs assessments and in designing inservice training programs-for teachers of handicapped children. Documents on competencies were collected from the National Inservice Network (NIN) training prc7rems for regular education personnel and from the Detn's Grant Network at the University of Minnesota. Documents were analyzed by special education administration doctoral students and' by seven NIN' project directors. It was 8ecided to replace the term "competencies" with "objectives" and to list them under eleven broad categoried of training priorities. Under each training priority, i objectives are grouped by instructional units, then by training topics. Nearly 700 objectives are listed. Citations referring to NIN me.n training materials are intded.for many objectives. The training priority topics are: (1) streaming and public policy; (2) characteristics of.handicapping conditions; (3) use of resources; (4) individualized educational management; (5) schoolwide planning, roles, and inservice training; (6) teaching techniques; (7) classroom management;, (8) curriculum; (9) assessment and evaluation; (10) communication and human relations; and (11) professionalism. Introduction: Students studying in college make poor dietary choices which causes significant hea... more Introduction: Students studying in college make poor dietary choices which causes significant health problems to their health. Various students have their meals in the dining facilities of college were they have limited healthy food options. 1,2,3 If the students will not gain the adequate nutritional on daily basis this will be effect there academic and physical performance. The purpose of this study was to identify the food choices opted by the college students. Objectives of the Study: To assess the food choices among college students of Pune City.2. To associate the selected demographic variables with the food choices among college students of Pune City. Methodology: Quantitative research approach was adopted for this study to accomplish the objectives of the study. In this study, Non-experimental Descriptive survey design was used. The investigator conducted the study in urban area of Pune City. In the present study, the college students of Pune City. Who fulfilled the inclusive criteria were the samples. The sample size was 221. Result: The result of the above study reveals that the college students have and habit of consuming fast food during their lunch meal. During breakfast most of them take beverages and do not prefer fast food and majority of them almost take the full meal .It can be identified that they eat only one health meal during their dinner which is not enough for the students to fulfill their nutritional requirement of the day. Many students eat fast food and also there consumption of fast food was also very high and most of them eat this fast food during their lunch meal which is not good for their health. Future research and awareness should be created among college students to make them aware about the healthy eating habits and food which can be implemented in their diet in daily meals

Background & Objective: Aging is a multidimensional process of change in the physical, psychologi... more Background & Objective: Aging is a multidimensional process of change in the physical, psychological and social. In India Osteoarthritis 2nd most cause of knee joint pain with the prevalence of 22 to 39%. Our aim was to assess the effectiveness of hot fomentation with Epsom salt versus Common salt on knee joint pain among elderly Methods: A Quasi Experimental, Non-randomized one group pre-test post-test control group design was adopted involving 40 elderly who have knee joint pain. After obtaining informed consent elderly were allocated into two groups of 20 each by using the Non-probability purposive sampling technique. Hot fomentation (100 ml of water at the temperature of 30-40 degree Celsius) with 2gm of Epsom salt for the experimental group and common salt for the attention control group for 5 days once a day. Global pain scale was used to assess the level of pain. Results: The significant change was observed in Pain level as evident that the t-value is 26.29, p-value of Epsom is 0.00001 that is less than 0.05 and the t-value is-21.03, p-value of Common salt is 0.0001 that is less than 0.05, both the interventions were effective but Epsom salt is more effective than common salt on knee joint pain. Hence, null hypothesis (H 0) was rejected. None of the demographic variables are found to have significant association with the level of knee joint pain. Conclusion: The effectiveness of hot fomentation with Epsom salt is higher than the common salt so null hypothesis is rejected.

Background: Corona virus is an infectious disease came in December 2019 in China. People with inf... more Background: Corona virus is an infectious disease came in December 2019 in China. People with infection get the respiratory problem but doesn't show any symptoms and not required any treatment. But those are having underlying problems like diabetes mellitus, pregnant women and children are having risk of getting complication with corona virus infection. The government announced immediate lockdown in country for the prevention of spread of infection and has change life of million children into complete confusion. Many are starving for the foods and calling for the help as the country shuts down to battle the pandemic. The largest child population is in India with 472 million, and Promoters say due to this immediate lockdown many children has disturbed. A assessment survey was done among parents has shown that children's are having more anxiety, increased use of TV and Social media and changed eating pattern. Another study shows that 37% of the children are psychological disturb and 88% spent most of the time on using social networking sites Objective: To assess stress and coping mechanism due to lockdown among school going children. Methodology: A Descriptive Research Approach is used. 60 samples were selected by using Non Probability Purposive Sampling Technique. Data was taken using Stress and coping mechanism questinnarrie through online Google form. Result: The study findings show that majority (41%) of the children answered were from 10 th standard ,30% from 9 th standard ,17% from 8 th standard and 12% from 7 th standard. It also shows that 58% were male and 42% were girl children. The assessment of stress is done by using the questionnaire based on the stress parameter like physical, psychological, family, financial burden, academics, quarrel with siblings, food .The rating were selected through 5 point likert scale from strongly disagree to Strongly agree. The result of stress due to lockdown findings shows that in majority of the children are strongly agree and agree with the physical stress, psychological stress ,family stress, stress due to financial burden, Academics stress, quareel with sibling and food due to lockdown. The children were using the many coping mechanism to relive this stress and majority of the children were using the coping mechanisms like using social media, exercise, doing study, doing household work, entertainment. Conclusion: The findings indicate that the questionnaire was effective in assessing the stress and coping mechanism among school going children. The study also concluded that majority of the children are having the stress due to lockdown but they are also using the coping mechanism to reduce this stress
