Searches within scientific articles andliteratures show that there is a need for increased knowledge in CRMand its functionality. The company studied in this work is an independentIT and management company that provides CRM and ERP systemsto customers in various industries. According to the companyʹs experience, their customers have different requirements and expectations ofthe functionality within CRM systems and also of the CRM functionalitythat can be found in other systems, such as ERP systems. There isfunctionality within the customersʹ ERP‐/financial systems which mayoverlap functions in the CRM system. The purpose of this study is tocreate a greater understanding of CRM systemsʹ role and its functions. The results are based on a random sample of eight companies in Sweden, within various industries, which are both small and medium sized. The survey was conducted by means of interview sessions with respondentswho are familiar with the company‐customer relationshipmanagement. Interview opportunities concern the collection of informationregarding the CRM functions and features within the ERP‐/financial systems of a current CRM system, which correspond to thedesired CRM functionality. The result shows that the business needs ofnew systems can be realized through the development of existingsystems rather than new systems. It also shows that the companiesʹ ERP‐/financial systems are used purely for financial matters and not for CRMfunctionality. Small and medium‐sized enterprises solve their CRMissues and financial matters by means of separate IT solutions.

An extensive molecular dynamics simulation and continuum analyses are carried out to estimate the influence of matrix stiffness and the intertube radial displacements on free vibration of an individual DWNT. The effects of nanotube length and chirality are also taken into account. The continuum analyses are based on both Euler-Bernoulli and Timoshenko beam theories which considers shear deformation and rotary inertia and for both concentric and non-concentric assumptions considering intertube radial displacements and the related internal degrees of freedom. New intertube resonant frequencies are calculated. Detailed results are demonstrated for the dependence of resonant frequencies on the matrix stiffness. The results indicate that internal radial displacement and surrounding matrix stiffness could substantially affect resonant frequencies e...

In this paper, the experimental investigations conducted on a 2DoF haptic device revealed that flexibility associated with the joints reduced the stable domain of operation considerably. Therefore, dynamic model of the investigated mechanism including the joint flexibility and physical damping is considered. The stability boundaries achieved by using the proposed flexible joint model is in good agreement with experimental results. A simplified model of the system is then developed employing a decomposition proposed in [1]. It is shown that the stability limits obtained by this simplified model give a slightly conservative but close estimate to the stability boundaries of the higher DoF flexible joint model. Such a simplified and experimentally validated model can be used for impedance-type haptic devices. The developed model makes it possible to investigate the effect of different mechanical parameters on the performance of multibody haptic systems.
