The research aimed to investigate the teaching activities in terms of teaching resources used in ... more The research aimed to investigate the teaching activities in terms of teaching resources used in teaching. The teaching resources were dividing into two categories: classical teaching resources and modern teaching resources belonging to the new informational technologies. The research objective concentrated on the investigation of teaching activities from the perspective of two categories of teaching resources (classic and modern teaching resources specific for a modern techno-centric educational system). The results show that: 22 of the subjects (10.5%) choose to use a combination of computer/ laptop – Internet, other 22 subjects (10.5%) choose computer – software, combination and 33 subjects (15.2%) choose computer-laptop – software-video projector – Internet combination, than 14 subjects (6.4%) computer/ laptop – software- internet and other 14 subjects (6.4%) vote for computer –sites – Internet. The coverage is one of great concern to not only specialists in different fields (e.g. management, psychology), but also to the individuals themselves. We have chosen as determinants of a successful career: global aspects of personality and proactive personality. This paper is a comparative study between a group of 120 subjects including 18 engineers in the petrochemical industry, 28 chemical engineers, 14 engineers from textiles industry and a group of 60 students from Transilvania University of Brasov.

Since managers are considered to have a great influence over organizational productivity and also... more Since managers are considered to have a great influence over organizational productivity and also over employees’ performance, in the present research we aim to identify how managers influence the work satisfaction and how they manage to helptheir workforce to reduce the resistance to change generated by both the education reform elements and economical crisis. We investigated a number of 51 teachers enrolled in pre-primary and primary education system, by using a survey based questionnaire of 72 items disposed on 5 dimensions. The results show that managers with simulative leading styles use more often the negotiation techniques when coming to change compared with autocratic managers, who are more likely to impose changes. Also participative leading style seems to have a positive influence over the employees work satisfaction and to lower the personal risk and effort perception.

The research aims to investigate the influence of an ameliorative program over the global self.es... more The research aims to investigate the influence of an ameliorative program over the global self.esteem of preadolescences with reduced self esteem and to track changes occurred on their academic results. We assume that if the scores of global self esteem of preadolescents with low self esteem increases after they graduate an ameliorative program, we expect to have an ascendant curve for the academic results. The research group is made of 126 preadolescences, both boys and girls. There were selected students with low to medium-low self-esteem (whom scored under 29, at the Rosenberg Scale for self esteem measuring). We measured the self esteem with Rosenberg scale and the academic results by documentation methods: grades’ registries. The results concludes that after an ameliorative program take place, the preadolescent improve their self esteem and their academic results.

Nowadays school is considered to be a living organization where students, teachers and community ... more Nowadays school is considered to be a living organization where students, teachers and community members come together to educate young ones to become active members of the society. With all that we say formal education is student centered, sometimes the reality shows quite the opposite. In order to identify the citizens' opinion regarding school reality we investigated over 223 citizens with different learning needs, of which 104 were young adults. We organized 22 focus groups and the obtained data were analyzed in ESPOIR soft and in Excel program.
