Although, there is a growing body of literature on managers and their career success, this growing literature is rather prescriptive and logic-deductive in career success. Consequently, the basic element such as personality is rather viewed lightly. Due to the growth and performance of Malaysia's hotel industry as well as Malaysia's aim to add value to this industry, managers in this sector are expected to be under considerable pressure to perform well and succeed in their careers. Similarly, the importance of the service sector in boosting the economic development of Malaysia necessitates the need for managers within this sector to enhance their performance and succeed in their careers. This study examines the effect of personality traits towards managers' career satisfaction in hotels located in north Malaysia. By using the quantitative approach as research methodology, questionnaires were developed comprised of the measurement items for personality and career success. Then, by using purposive sampling, managers were selected. Later, a total of 83 hotel managers participated in this research. Data analysis, however, revealed mixed results. In conclusion, although the relationship between personality traits and career satisfaction might seem marginal, the effects are still worth taking into consideration.

Eighty eight (n=88) participants from three engineering departments of a completed a survey questionnaire measuring their responses to five constructs of the framework. The multiple regressions results show that subjective norms were the most significant predictors of behavioural intention towards practising safety followed by perceived behavioural control and safety attitude. The second block of multiple regressions found that safety behaviour can be significantly explained by using the constructs of safety knowledge and behavioural intention. Overall, this study has shown that three explanatory variables in the TPB can explain behavioural intention of practising safety with 52 % of variance and safety knowledge as an extension construct of the TPB model with behavioural intention can explain the young adults' safety behaviour in the laboratories and workshops with the variance of 40%.

It has been long held within the humanistic management perspective that different types of leadership style eventually are leading towards different outcomes. In this era of globalization, the role of leadership in determining the internalization pathways for the company is even more crucial. Due to many environment changes, companies decide to inject a new perspective into their management styles. The issue of globalization for example, has lead many companies to divert their focus to the issues of sustainability. This paradigm shift requires management to solicit the subordinates' inputs in decision making and/or allow them to ensure that the management receive a warm support from the employees which is embarking to the sustainability journey, it actually begin from the internal groups. Thus, this paper discusses the leadership style of senior manager in medical wastes business in Indonesia. By using the qualitative approach with case study method, there were 13 semi-structured interviews with 35 questions based on the topic used to investigate the role of leader's leadership styles. Later, all data was transcribed and coded systematically. Based on the results of the interviews, the case analysis is presented, thus at the end, this paper will conclude by recommendations for management of PT Bunga Mawar.

Unfortunately, most of the literatures in competencies are looking at the academics rather than administrative staff. Thus, purpose of this study is to identify the key competency of the administrative staff in one of the public university in Malaysia. In order to achieve the research objectives, this study applied a combination of literature and in-depth interviews. The finding was derived out by using thematic approach based on the interview with key informants. Result shows that there are six key components. All these components are found to be interrelated to each other. Administrative staffs require possessing all the components as it are directly related to their performance. In conclusion, the administrative staffs are expected to master these components as their competency.

The analysis wise is very simple, just by the click of a mouse the analysis can be done. The more demanding part is the interpretation of the output that the researcher gets. Many researchers are very familiar and well exposed to the regression analysis technique whereby the dependent variable is a continuous variable. But what happens if the dependent variable is a nominal variable? Then the researcher has 2 choices: either to use a discriminant analysis or a logistic regression. Discriminant analysis is used when the data are normally distributed whereas the logistic regression is used when the data are not normally distributed. This paper demonstrates an illustrated approach in presenting how the discriminant analysis can be carried out and how the output can be interpreted using knowledge sharing in an organizational context. The paper will also present the 3 criteria that can be used to test whether the model developed has good predictive accuracy. The purpose of this paper is to help novice researchers as well as seasoned researchers on how best the output from the SPSS can be interpreted and presented in standard table forms.

However, some of the religious based tourism particularly pilgrimage tourism such as Umrah received little attention in the literature although there are 6 million people performing it each year. Thus, this study aims to examine the relationship between the factors influencing information acquisition behavior to gain destination product knowledge in performing Umrah. Survey data from 198 Umrah travelers were analyzed using Partial least squares (PLS) structural equation. The final useful sample consisted of 198 Muslim participants who had travelled to Mecca for Umrah in the last 12 months. Partial least squares (PLS) structural equation was used in data analysis. The results show that the determinants of information search, the purpose of travelling, past experience, quality of information and travel companion affect information acquisition behavior and destination product knowledge. The findings of this study will aid tour operators and travel agents in developing relevant strategies for future business development.

Therefore, the purpose of this prospective research is to highlight the importance of integration safety curricula into hands on laboratories learning for young adults during their tertiary education particularly involve in technical and vocational education. This research is proposed to ensure young adults particularly Generation Y are equipped with the basic safety knowledge and safety precaution to avoid any occupational accident and also work related diseases before exposing themselves to the real situation.

economic value. However, today, the firm should consider to reduce the impact of
industry footprint and give significance to social and environmental factors, together
with economic factors and financial means to enable the firm to be profitable and at
the same time protecting the environment. Businesses that understand the importance
of their relationship with the communities in which it operates, and its impact on the
environment, will be a success in the long run. Therefore, firms develop many approaches
and systems for managing the environment through the use of less polluting materials,
product design initiatives, and reduce packaging material and energy consumption.
Environmental management initiatives can be a measurement of environmental
performance (EP), which became an important performance benchmark in the firm,
as well as financial indicators of business firms. One of the major strategies for the
enhancement of environmental performance is the advent of an innovative strategic
maneuver named green human resource management (HRM) practices. Green HRM
practices are expected to form firms that focus on environmental, emphasize human
capital and hiring employees who have extensive knowledge about the environment,
provide training on the skills and capabilities in technology and innovation, also provide
rewards and incentives to create a successful environmental management. Therefore,
this paper uses Ability–Motivation–Opportunity (AMO) theory towards recognition
the significant HRM parts that drive an influence on the EP.
