Firstly, the object detection and action recognition technology under the current AI technology is analyzed, and the Two-stage object detection algorithm and One-stage object detection algorithm are evaluated. Secondly, the technologies and functions contained in the adolescent health Latin dance teaching system are described, including image acquisition, feature extraction, object detection, and action recognition. Finally, the action recognition algorithm is optimized based on object detection, and the rationality and feasibility of the proposed algorithm are verified by experiments. The experimental results show that the optimization algorithm can search the optimal feature subset after five iterations on Undefine Classes of 101...

It has gained increasing attention as an exercise intervention for improving physical and mental health outcomes. This systematic review examines the effects of Latin dance on physical and mental health. Methods Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis (PRISMA) were used to report the data for this review. To gather research from the literature, we used recognized academic and scientific databases such SportsDiscus with Full Text, PsycINFO, Cochrane, Scopus, PubMed, and Web of Science. The systematic review only included 22 studies out of the 1,463 that matched all inclusion criteria. The PEDro scale was used to rate each study’s quality. 22 research received scores between 3 and 7. Results Latin dance has been demonstrated to promote physical health by helping people lose weight, improve cardiovascular health, increase muscle strength and tone, and improve flexibility and balance. Furthermore, Latin...

One of the most important variables which affect strength improvement is training system and two common systems of resistance exercise training are single set and multiple sets. Choosing which training system is better is still open to question. The objective of this study was to examine the effects of 8 weeks single set versus multiple sets resistance exercise training on upper and lower body muscular strength among untrained male adults. Twenty-four healthy untrained males (age: 20.5 ± 1.8 years, body height: 174.9 ± 4.2 cm, body mass: 72.3 ± 3.2 kg, and body fat mass percentage: %18.2 ± 1.3) were randomly selected and assigned into two groups: single set (SS) and multiple sets (MS). Both groups trained for eight weeks with 7...

On the other hand, natural scenes could improve directed attention, which may considerably benefit visual searching ability and self-regulation. However, nature exposure as a potential intervention to improve skilled performance among mentally fatigued athletes has not been discussed thoroughly.PurposeTo propose the potential intervention for the impairment of skilled performance among mentally fatigued athletes and generate a framework for future studies.MethodsA narrative review was applied to search broadly across disciplines, retrieving literature from several databases (PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, and EBSCOhost).ResultsThirty-three works of literature including 39 experiments (mental fatigue 1...

The aim of this research was to create awareness among adolescents and the general public about the health effects of obesity and to provide evidence on the relationship between obesity and CHD in Malaysian teens. Based on facts above, this study would be vital to determine the relationship between fatness and CHD in adolescents in Hulu Langat as representatives of Malaysian adolescents. The sample consisted of 25 males and 36 females (n = 61) aged 15-16 years. They were volunteer students randomly chosen from a private and government school in Hulu Langat. Body fat was measured by bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), and lipid profile (cholesterol, triglycerides and glucose) by the fasting blood test. Weak correlations were obtained between fatness and the CHD risk factors for both genders. Positive correlations were reported for fatness against all the CHD variables except for triglycerides in females. Female adolescents have a higher risk for CHD with fatness than the male adolescents. The study concluded that intervention against obesity appears advisable in the primary prevention of CHD, especially for female adolescents. Key words: Fatness, obesity, overweight, coronary heart disease, adolescent, Malaysia.

GDM increases maternal and foetal morbidity and increase the risk of future type 2 diabetes for the maternal. This study aims to determine the knowledge of GDM among antenatal women in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinic, in a Malaysia government hospital. A cross-sectional study design with systematic random sampling method was used to select antenatal women in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinic. A selfadministered questionnaire was used. All the data obtained were analysed using the Statistical Analysis Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), Version 20.0. The total mean knowledge score of 140 respondents was 3.09±SD0.47. There is knowledge deficit found among the antenatal mothers related to basic knowledge of GDM: Definition of GDM (91.4%), Knowledge about treatment of GDM: The important of exercise to help women with GDM (80.7%) and Knowledge about complication of GDM: Women with GDM have risk getting larger baby (81.4%). This study will provide information for health care providers to develop effective health education for preventive approaches in order to prevent the complication of GDM to women and foetus.
