Through the Lecturer and Teacher Partnership Program, this study attempts to determine the effect... more Through the Lecturer and Teacher Partnership Program, this study attempts to determine the effect of collegiality in raising the standard of instruction at SMP Cokroaminoto Palopo. This descriptive and observation to data. The findings showed that the plan, do, and see phases of lesson study implementation were divided into four cycles. From the stage of creating learning to the level of implementation in the classroom, these three stages are interconnected. The study’s version of collegiality also involves instructors and lecturers planning lessons in accordance with the challenges and educational needs faced by Cokroaminoto Palopo Middle School. Observations’ findings indicate that the learning designs created by lecturers and teachers have a favorable effect on the standard of learning in the classroom.

This study aims at finding out online teaching activities, online learning difficulties faced by ... more This study aims at finding out online teaching activities, online learning difficulties faced by EFL teachers and students, and students’ parents during the Covid-19 pandemic and solutions to solve them. Some EFL lecturers volunteered to participate in this research through invitation. The EFL teachers were requested to make written reflections regarding their practices in carrying out online EFL learning and the challenges they encounter. Five of them were involved in a follow-up interview individually. Semi-structured interview was administered. Data coding was done and appropriate extracts were informed in results section. To validate the data, data coding was done independently by study. As results, the EFL teachers have carried out online learning through a series of activities ranging from checking the students’ attendance to giving score on the students’ works synchronously or asynchronously depending on each school policy. The subject of this research is the fifth-semester students in the English Department at the University of Cokroaminoto Palopo. The method of this study is a descriptive study. The procedures of collecting data are giving questionnaires and interviews and then the writer analyzed the data by adopting Matthew B. Miles and A. Michael Huberman's pattern. It means that lesson plan guiding teachers to convey the teaching-learning activities. Teachers’ competence in designing lesson is essential in order to plan the strategy to improve the quality of teaching learning activity. Relevancy of lesson plans to the regulation issued by government needed in order to gain the goals of National Education. Permendikbud No. 22 Tahun 2016 is issued by Indonesian government to regulate the Standar Proses. The regulation mentions components of lesson plan based on 2013 curriculum to lead teachers in designing lesson plan. A school supervisor as the researcher has a task to observe and study teacher lesson plans whether it is relevant or not.
