Providing efficient quality of service (QoS) support is essential for such networks, as they need to deliver real-time services like video, audio, and voice over IP besides the traditional data service. Various solutions have been proposed to provide soft QoS over multihop wireless networks from different layers in the network protocol stack. However, the layered concept was primarily created for wired networks, and multihop wireless networks oppose strict layered design because of their dynamic nature, infrastructureless architecture, and time-varying unstable links and topology. The concept of cross-layer design is based on architecture where different la...

With the continuous deployment of larger and more sophisticated wireless networks, reducing interference in such networks is quickly being focused upon as a problem in today's world. In this paper we analyze the interference reduction problem from a graph theoretical viewpoint. A graph coloring methods are exploited to model the interference reduction problem. However, additional constraints to graph coloring scenarios that account for various networking conditions result in additional complexity to standard graph coloring. This paper reviews a variety of algorithmic solutions for specific network topologies.

A graph is called perfect if the chromatic number of each of its induced subgraph H equals the number of vertices in the largest clique of H; it is called strong perfect (4) if each of its induced subgraphs H contains a stable set which meets all the maximal cliques in H. (Here, as usual, 'maximal' is meant with respect to set-inclusion.) It is easy to show that every strongly perfect graph is perfect. Meyniel(5) proved that a graph is perfect whenever each of its odd cycles of length at least five has at least two chords. The purpose of this paper is to strengthen Meyniel's result as follows:

So we determined to work on robotics and reduce the routine of human being and lift up opulence of their life. It deals with the design, creation, process and application of robots as well as computer system for their control. The proposed follower robot is an electronic system that can detect and follow the line. Generally, the line specifies a predefined path that can be either visible like a black line on a white surface with a high contrasted color using IR Array Sensor. This robot is used to decide the shortest path out of other long distance paths at the time of travelling. In this project perfect path is identified for solving the single source shortest path problem like Bellman ford Algorithm. A proximity sensor has been attached to the robot so that it can detect any obstacle in its ways.

We describes an echocardiogram coding method that takes into account the visualization modes in order to compress efficiently the echocardiogram, a methodology to evaluate compressed echocardiograms, and the evaluation of the compression method using the proposed evaluation methodology. The compression method takes advantage of the particular characteristics of each visualization mode and different compression techniques for each mode to compress efficiently the echocardiogram. A complete evaluation has been designed in order to recommend a minimum transmission rate for each operation mode that guarantees sufficient clinical quality. The evaluation of the echocardiograms compressed with the proposed method has been carried out. We perform MSPHIT approaches for compression process in echocardiogram images in real time applications.

Operator assisted classification methods are impractical for large amounts of data .High resolution Computed Tomography images contain a noise caused by operator performance which can lead to serious inaccuracies in classification. We design two new feature descriptors for higher feature descriptiveness, namely the rotation-invariant Gabor-local binary patterns (RGLBP) texture descriptor and multi-coordinate histogram of oriented gradients (MCHOG) gradient descriptor. Each image patch is then labeled based on its feature approximation from reference image patches. Decision making was performed in two steps i) Feature extraction using the two feature descriptors ii) classification using Patch adaptive sparse

Methods: Retrospective study from 1996 to 2017 analyzing data from an academic referral center specializing in autosomal dominant tubulointerstitial kidney disease (ADTKD). Individuals were referred by academic health-care providers (HCPs) nonacademic HCPs, or directly by patients/families. Results: Over 21 years, there were 665 referrals, with 176 (27%) directly from families, 269 (40%) from academic HCPs, and 220 (33%) from nonacademic HCPs. Forty-two (24%) direct family referrals had positive genetic testing versus 73 (27%) families from academic HCPs and 55 (25%) from nonacademic HCPs (P = 0.72). Ninety-nine percent of direct family contacts were white and resided in zip code locations with a mean median income of 77,316±34,014versusUSmedianincome77,316 ± 34,014 versus US median income 77,316±34,014versusUSmedianincome49,445. Conclusion: Undiagnosed families with Internet access bypassed their physicians and established direct contact with an academic center specializing in inherited kidney disease to achieve a diagnosis. Twenty-five percent of all families diagnosed with ADTKD were the result of direct family referral and would otherwise have been undiagnosed. If patients suspect a rare disorder that is undiagnosed by their physicians, actively pursuing selfdiagnosis using the Internet can be successful. Centers interested in rare disorders should consider improving direct access to families.

Zinc acetate dihydrate, 2-methoxyethanol and monoethanolamine were used as a starting material, solvent and stabilizer, respectively. X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) were employed to characterize structure and morphologies of the as-deposited samples. The results of XRD and SEM showed that the heat treatment conditions, final rotational (spinning) speed, fume exhaust and precise control of concentration of reactants (precursor and solvent used) strongly affect the crystallographic orientation and morphology of the resultant ZnO films. The XRD pattern showed that the ZnO films formed the preferred orientation along c-axis and the grain size is 16nm for the samples. Only one peak corresponding to the (002) plane at 2θ = 34.34˚ appears on the diffractograms. The as-deposited films had a transparency of greater than 80% in the visible-near IR region from 400 nm-800 nm. The optical band gap energy and thickness were calculated to be 3.296 eV and 266 nm respectively.

Developing general framework for separating the foreground text and background information from complex document image is still a challenging problem because of its high unpredictability and complexity. In this paper a new interval type-2 fuzzy based thresholding method is proposed for processing color document images. The proposed method is experimented with varying background of multiple colors and texture and foreground text in any color, font, size and orientation. Experimental results show that the performance of the proposed approach is better than the existing ones.
