This paper approaches the design, modeling, and manufacturing process of the multipurpose steerin... more This paper approaches the design, modeling, and manufacturing process of the multipurpose steering wheel for a formula-style race car. The Multipurpose steering wheel is a device for lateral control of the formula student and also for changing the formula’s parameters. Steering wheel’s parts are designed with an aim to comfort, usefulness, manufacturability, and cost of prototype. Subsequently, the main body modular mold design and manufacturing process is presented, taken into the account the technology of production and material with suitable attributes selection. For the steering wheel, it is utilized the technology of pre-impregnated carbon fiber fabric reinforced polymer (CFRP) cured in an autoclave. Design of layers of composite material is described in the detail, followed by the material’s bend test. The paper deals with determination of oxygen permeability of the polyethylene and polypropylene f... more The paper deals with determination of oxygen permeability of the polyethylene and polypropylene foils applied in mulching and food packaging. The construction of the equipment of measurement of gas permeability through the foils is discussed. The design and construction of the equipment was realized with applying of the Standard STN EN 77 0333. The measurement of permeability of oxygen through the polyethylene Bralen 2-63 with 9% colored concentrate Maxithen HP 533041 – violet foil, Polyten®MLB black&white foil and black polypropylene nonwoven fabric foil were realized by means of the modified method.

The convective diffusion equation for the downstream distribution of products and intermediates p... more The convective diffusion equation for the downstream distribution of products and intermediates produced on a tube electrode under conditions of laminar flow is solved. For distances which are large compared to the thickness of the electrode, an analytical solution in real space can be found. The solution of the equation has been applied to an apparatus in which the intermadiates and products are detected by e.s.r. The species are transported by laminar flow from the electrode through an e.k.r_ cavity. Results are presented for two systems and are found to be in good agreement with the theory.

The thin foils (50 µm) which contained 91 % of polyethylene Bralen RA 2-63 and 9 % colored concentrate Maxithen were studied. Four sorts of foils were examined: Maxithen HP 1510-white, Maxithen HP 231111-yellow, Maxithen HP 533031-blue and Maxithen HP 533 041-violet. Longitudinal and transversal tensile properties were studied. The tensile behavior was monitored on the motorized test stand ANDILOG STENTOR 1000. The moduli of elasticity of longitudinal samples of polyethylene Bralen RA 2-63 foils achieved the values in the range from 222.73 MPa to 298.24 MPa and the transversal samples in the range 179.61 MPa to 270.41 MPa. The stress of longitudinal samples of polyethylene Bralen RA 2-63 foils in the moment of the rupture achieved the values in the range from 9.46 MPa to 13.33 MPa at the strain from 1.51 mm*mm-1 to 1.54 mm*mm-1 and the transversal samples in the range from 12.38 MPa to 15.54 MPa at the strain from 1.48 mm*mm-1 to 1.58 mm*mm-1 .

Determination of oxygen permeability and mechanical properties of the aluminium paper foils. Res. Agr. Eng., 60: 172–179. The paper deals with the determination of the oxygen permeability and mechanical properties of butter and curd aluminium paper foils Radaflex applied in the food packaging. Foil Radaflex is a paper foil covered by the aluminium layer. The measurement of the oxygen permeability was realized according to the Standard STN EN 77 0333. The measurement of mechanical properties was realized according to the Standard STN EN ISO 1924-2. Determination of moduli of elasticity in the longitudinal and transversal direction were provided and tensile properties as maximal elongations, maximal tensile forces, tensile strengths, tensile indexes and strain at breaks of the longitudinal and transversal specimens were evaluated. The permeability of pure oxygen through aluminium paper foils was studied. Aluminium paper foil was not permeable for the oxygen.

Boli študované štyri druhy fólií: vzorky s Maxithenom HP 1510biele, s Maxithenom HP 231111 -žlté, s Maxithenom HP 533031 -modré a s Maxithenom HP 533 041 -fialové.
