Finally, he turned to the Search Bureau for Missing Relatives in Jerusalem which quickly led to a contact with Stanley Diamond, President of the Jewish Genealogical Society of Montreal and learning the mystery of why Maurice had "disappeared." The saga of Maurice illustrates how inspired thinking and networking together with knowledgeable researchers and archival documentation combine to make miracles happen.
