Clinically, dental preparation which then is subjected to composite using dentine bonding application often results in post restorative pain. Various studies suggest that post restorative pain is caused by the presence of residual monomers from the imperfect polymerization of a bonding material. The residual monomer can be a free radical that will induce oxidative stress conditions. This leads to a toxic effect on 4-META monomer as the base material of dentine bonding. Purpose: To determine the toxic concentration of 4-META dentine bonding material using acetone as a solvent which causes 50% death of dental pulp fibroblast cells. The participants of this activity were 60 students from SD N II grade V Denpasar. Health education about the life span of dengue fever mosquito and the common environment of the mosquito was delivered to the students. After being studied in the class, the activity was continued by identification of jentik at the field. The aims of this activity are to strengthen the role of students in reducing dengue fever cases in Sesetan village. Result of the pre-test and post test showed an increase in knowledge of the students about dengue fever to overcome this disease. Statistical analysis showed a significant differences (P<0.05) between pre-test and post test. Students were asked to identify potential container of mosquite which may be bred at home. Telah disintesis bahan elektrolit padat baru berbasis gelas NaPO 3 dan gelas komposit (AgI) 0,7 (NaPO 3 ) 0,3 . Berbagai karakterisasi telah dilakukan pada kedua elektrolit padat ini seperti pengukuran struktur kristal menggunakan X-ray Diffractometer, sifat termal dengan Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) dan pengukuran konduktivitas ionik menggunakan Impedance Spectroscopy (LCR meter). Extreme surpluses or deficits can cause hydrometeorological disasters, such as floods or droughts. This study aims to calculate the monthly water balance using the Thornthwaite-Mather method to determine variations in the incidence of surplus and deficit months in all three sub-watersheds in Bengkulu Watershed, namely Rindu Hati, Susup, and Bengkulu Hilir sub-watershed. The data used are monthly hydrometeorological data for 2009-2018 (10 years) were divided into two periods of water balance based on land use data. Water balance period 1 (2009-2013) uses 2009 land use data, while period 2 (2014-2018) uses 2014 land use data. It was recorded that 600 people were having diarrhea and 5 people were died due to the disease. This outbreak was the first time happened in Bali and the causing pathogen was not yet identified. The aim of this study was to identify the causing pathogen of diarrhea in the outbreak case in Karangasem, as well as to identify the possible transmitting pathway. The tracking of outbreak cause was carried out by analyzing water sample taken from communal clean water source, private clean water reservoir, food sample, as well as rectal swab of the patient with the combination of pathogen enrichment technique and specific PCR with Escherichia coli as the target of toxin forming agent. An old pesantren continues the process, and new pesantren keep appearing. The education system and the institutions for pesantren are growing rapidly, as supported by facilities, infrastructure, and curriculum. They are adapted constanly according to the times. The halal center discourse is developing in the global world. It has made the continue of pesantren to offer applicative ideas. Then the institutions can become the promising center for religious tourism. This study used qualitative literature study and interviews to collect data that related to religious tourism in pesantren. It can be concluded that there are five potentials for developing religious tourism and halal centers in pesantren; such as the intrinsic value of the pesantren, the pattern of life, the environment and the surrounding community, the sacredness, and the spiritual atmosphere; and pesantren religious tourism aspect.

The rapid expansion of rubber and oil palm plantations in Jambi Province, Sumatra, Indonesia, is ... more The rapid expansion of rubber and oil palm plantations in Jambi Province, Sumatra, Indonesia, is associated with largescale deforestation and the impairment of many ecosystem services. According to villagers' observations, this land use change has, together with climate change, led to an increase in the magnitude and frequency of river flood events, which constrain village and plantation development. Based on this empirical societal problem, we investigate whether we can find measurable indications for the presumed linkages between land use change, climate change, and changing flooding regimes. We follow an explorative, bottom-up research approach that builds on a review of multidisciplinary datasets, integrating local ecological knowledge with scientific measurements from soil science, climatology, hydrology, and remote sensing. We found that water levels of one of the largest rivers in Jambi Province, the Tembesi, have increased significantly during the last two decades. Data of local and regional meteorological stations show that alterations in rainfall patterns may only partly explain these changes. Rather, increased soil densities and decreased water infiltration rates in monoculture plantations suggest an increase in surface runoff following forest conversion. Moreover, additional interview data reveal that an increasing encroachment of wetlands in Jambi Province may contribute to changes in local flooding regimes, as the construction of drainage and flood control infrastructure redistributes floodwater at the local scale. We conclude that changing flooding regimes are the result of multiple interacting social-ecological processes associated with the expansion of rubber and oil palm plantations in Jambi Province. Although ecohydrological changes are likely to contribute to an increase of flood occurrence, their social impacts are increasingly mediated through flood control infrastructure on industrial oil palm plantations.

The length of the coastline reaches about 81,000 km2, so Indonesia is the largest archipelagic country in the world with two thirds of its territory consisting of oceans. One of the efforts that need to be conducted is to improve the economy and accelerate the development of the marine sector. With this policy, the security of marine and marine resource management is very important. Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) and continental foundation are vital areas that need to be guarded and guaranteed for the benefit of maritime sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia. The development of science and technology of remote sensing, LAPAN in cooperation with IPB to make satellite LAPAN / IPB-A3 or A3LISat. These satellites serve as monitoring of paddy field resources. These satellites are orbiting 14 times a day in the territory of Indonesia is equipped with AIS (Automatic Identification System) sensor where the sensor is to monitor the mobility of the ship. The AIS sensor can provide location coordinate information and temporarily obtain ships vessel information in Indonesian seas. This research tried to utilize the AIS sensor and combined with PFZ (Potential Fishing Zone) information result of remote sensing data and analyzes the mobility of fishing boats recorded by A3 satellite whether it is in accordance with the PFZ information extracted from remote sensing satellite LISat data.

The demand for remote sensing imagery data has been increasing in recent years in Remote Sensing ... more The demand for remote sensing imagery data has been increasing in recent years in Remote Sensing Technology and Data Center LAPAN, especially the utilization of such data for the maritime field. Data request is recorded increasing trend from 808 scenes in 2015 to become 6773 scenes in 2016. Therefore, Remote Sensing Technology and Data Center should improve its services so that information provided to users could be delivered as fast as possible. The objective of this research was to find the best alternatives dissemination from the current method of data distribution and remote sensing information in terms of speed, scalability, functionality and data maintenance in order to support government program on maritime sectors. Alternative to be examined was based on Web-GIS which means that access to data and remote sensing information could be done online through internet. The used of Web-GIS in this study due to the utilization of the internet already prevalent in the present day. Through this method, users could have obtained data and information from anywhere and anytime. As an example, this paper uses mangrove distribution data in Banten as remote sensing data provided. Results are easily obtained mangrove information; the government can overcome the problems that has emerged as the reduced area of mangrove forest which resulted in causing chain actions such as floods and other disasters. Using Web-GIS can be an effective means of dissemination to speed up service.

Alternative treatments that have not been widely developed is application of liquid smoke and electrotherapy. The aim of this research was to study the effectiveness of liquid smoke and electrotherapy and their combinations to eliminate X. oryzae pv. oryzae without damaging seed quality. The study consisted of three experimental stages: (1) Liquid smoke treatment on the viability of the bacteria and rice seeds; (2) Electrotherapy treatment on the viability of bacteria and rice seeds; (3) Combination of liquid smoke and electrotherapy treatment in bacteria-infected rice seed. The use of this technology which converts sound energy to heat energy has not been popular despite its environmentally friendly and simple construction. A laboratory scale thermoacoustic cooling device has been constructed to conduct experiments on three different shapes of resonators that results in temperature difference occurring at its stack ends. Geometry of the device parts is one of the parameter that holds importance to its characteristic. The device applied a different shape of resonator for each experiment and record temperature data at stacks ends. The experiments were conducted with variations in resonator which are square tube, cylinder tube and tapered tube. The material of resonator is acrylic and its inner volume remains unchanged.

The development of pattern recognition methods nowadays have rapidly advanced so that make it possible to be applied to ECG signal. Certain feature of ECG required for pattern recognition are P, Q, R, S and T signals. In this paper, we propose a pattern recognition method for ECG features by using adaptive threshold to find P, Q, R, S, and T position. Bahan MWCNT-Fe ditekan dengan beban 5 ton pada diameter sampel 1 cm untuk membentuk pellet menggunakan alat Enervac, selanjutnya komposit dipanaskan pada suhu 30 °C sampai 250 °C. Hasil analisis morfologi permukaan dengan SEM menunjukkan bahwa butiran komposit MWCNT-Fe belum terbentuk. Berdasarkan analisis terhadap komposit MWCNT-Fe ditemukan adanya unsur karbon (CNT) dan besi pada permukaan dan pengotor yang lain, komposit MWCNT-Fe memiliki morfologi permukaan yang tidak jelas terlihat pada komposit CNT-1 sampai CNT-5. Pengukuran sifat listrik pada komposit MWCNT-Fe yang dilakukan meliputi perubahan konduktivitas terhadap perubahan frekuensi dan sebagai fungsi suhu. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan konduktivitas komposit CNT-1 dan CNT-3 naik seiring dengan naiknya suhu pemanasan, sedangkan konduktivitas CNT-5 turun.

Extreme surpluses or deficits can cause hydrometeorological disasters, such as floods or droughts. This study aims to calculate the monthly water balance using the Thornthwaite-Mather method to determine variations in the incidence of surplus and deficit months in all three sub-watersheds in Bengkulu Watershed, namely Rindu Hati, Susup, and Bengkulu Hilir sub-watershed. The data used are monthly hydrometeorological data for 2009-2018 (10 years) were divided into two periods of water balance based on land use data. It was recorded that 600 people were having diarrhea and 5 people were died due to the disease. This outbreak was the first time happened in Bali and the causing pathogen was not yet identified. The aim of this study was to identify the causing pathogen of diarrhea in the outbreak case in Karangasem, as well as to identify the possible transmitting pathway. The tracking of outbreak cause was carried out by analyzing water sample taken from communal clean water source, private clean water reservoir, food sample, as well as rectal swab of the patient with the combination of pathogen enrichment technique and specific PCR with Escherichia coli as the target of toxin forming agent. The halal center discourse is developing in the global world. It has made the continue of pesantren to offer applicative ideas. Then the institutions can become the promising center for religious tourism. This study used qualitative literature study and interviews to collect data that related to religious tourism in pesantren. It can be concluded that there are five potentials for developing religious tourism and halal centers in pesantren; such as the intrinsic value of the pesantren, the pattern of life, the environment and the surrounding community, the sacredness, and the spiritual atmosphere; and pesantren religious tourism aspect.

The rapid expansion of rubber and oil palm plantations in Jambi Province, Sumatra, Indonesia, is ... more The rapid expansion of rubber and oil palm plantations in Jambi Province, Sumatra, Indonesia, is associated with largescale deforestation and the impairment of many ecosystem services. According to villagers' observations, this land use change has, together with climate change, led to an increase in the magnitude and frequency of river flood events, which constrain village and plantation development. Based on this empirical societal problem, we investigate whether we can find measurable indications for the presumed linkages between land use change, climate change, and changing flooding regimes. We follow an explorative, bottom-up research approach that builds on a review of multidisciplinary datasets, integrating local ecological knowledge with scientific measurements from soil science, climatology, hydrology, and remote sensing. We found that water levels of one of the largest rivers in Jambi Province, the Tembesi, have increased significantly during the last two decades. Data of local and regional meteorological stations show that alterations in rainfall patterns may only partly explain these changes. Rather, increased soil densities and decreased water infiltration rates in monoculture plantations suggest an increase in surface runoff following forest conversion. Moreover, additional interview data reveal that an increasing encroachment of wetlands in Jambi Province may contribute to changes in local flooding regimes, as the construction of drainage and flood control infrastructure redistributes floodwater at the local scale. We conclude that changing flooding regimes are the result of multiple interacting social-ecological processes associated with the expansion of rubber and oil palm plantations in Jambi Province. Although ecohydrological changes are likely to contribute to an increase of flood occurrence, their social impacts are increasingly mediated through flood control infrastructure on industrial oil palm plantations.

With this policy, the security of marine and marine resource management is very important. Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) and continental foundation are vital areas that need to be guarded and guaranteed for the benefit of maritime sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia. The development of science and technology of remote sensing, LAPAN in cooperation with IPB to make satellite LAPAN / IPB-A3 or A3LISat. These satellites serve as monitoring of paddy field resources. These satellites are orbiting 14 times a day in the territory of Indonesia is equipped with AIS (Automatic Identification System) sensor where the sensor is to monitor the mobility of the ship. The AIS sensor can provide location coordinate information and temporarily obtain ships vessel information in Indonesian seas. This research tried to utilize the AIS sensor and combined with PFZ (Potential Fishing Zone) information result of remote sensing data and analyzes the mobility of fishing boats recorded by A3 satellite whether it is in accordance with the PFZ information extracted from remote sensing satellite LISat data.

Data request is recorded increasing trend from 808 scenes in 2015 to become 6773 scenes in 2016. Therefore, Remote Sensing Technology and Data Center should improve its services so that information provided to users could be delivered as fast as possible. The objective of this research was to find the best alternatives dissemination from the current method of data distribution and remote sensing information in terms of speed, scalability, functionality and data maintenance in order to support government program on maritime sectors. Alternative to be examined was based on Web-GIS which means that access to data and remote sensing information could be done online through internet. The used of Web-GIS in this study due to the utilization of the internet already prevalent in the present day. Through this method, users could have obtained data and information from anywhere and anytime. As an example, this paper uses mangrove distribution data in Banten as remote sensing data provided. Results are easily obtained mangrove information; the government can overcome the problems that has emerged as the reduced area of mangrove forest which resulted in causing chain actions such as floods and other disasters. Using Web-GIS can be an effective means of dissemination to speed up service.

Alternative treatments that have not been widely developed is application of liquid smoke and electrotherapy. The aim of this research was to study the effectiveness of liquid smoke and electrotherapy and their combinations to eliminate X. oryzae pv. oryzae without damaging seed quality. The study consisted of three experimental stages: (1) Liquid smoke treatment on the viability of the bacteria and rice seeds; (2) Electrotherapy treatment on the viability of bacteria and rice seeds; (3) Combination of liquid smoke and electrotherapy treatment in bacteria-infected rice seed. The use of this technology which converts sound energy to heat energy has not been popular despite its environmentally friendly and simple construction. A laboratory scale thermoacoustic cooling device has been constructed to conduct experiments on three different shapes of resonators that results in temperature difference occurring at its stack ends. Geometry of the device parts is one of the parameter that holds importance to its characteristic. The device applied a different shape of resonator for each experiment and record temperature data at stacks ends. The experiments were conducted with variations in resonator which are square tube, cylinder tube and tapered tube. The material of resonator is acrylic and its inner volume remains unchanged.

Telah dilakukan pembuatan komposit MWCNT (Multi Walled Carbon Nanotube)-Fe dengan metode reaksi ... more Telah dilakukan pembuatan komposit MWCNT (Multi Walled Carbon Nanotube)-Fe dengan metode reaksi padatan. Bahan MWCNT-Fe ditekan dengan beban 5 ton pada diameter sampel 1 cm untuk membentuk pellet menggunakan alat Enervac, selanjutnya komposit dipanaskan pada suhu 30 °C sampai 250 °C. Hasil analisis morfologi permukaan dengan SEM menunjukkan bahwa butiran komposit MWCNT-Fe belum terbentuk. Berdasarkan analisis terhadap komposit MWCNT-Fe ditemukan adanya unsur karbon (CNT) dan besi pada permukaan dan pengotor yang lain, komposit MWCNT-Fe memiliki morfologi permukaan yang tidak jelas terlihat pada komposit CNT-1 sampai CNT-5. Pengukuran sifat listrik pada komposit MWCNT-Fe yang dilakukan meliputi perubahan konduktivitas terhadap perubahan frekuensi dan sebagai fungsi suhu. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan konduktivitas komposit CNT-1 dan CNT-3 naik seiring dengan naiknya suhu pemanasan, sedangkan konduktivitas CNT-5 turun.
