The work presented here targets increasing the speed & performance of the OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) modulator and demodulator. This paper presents a high level implementation of a high performance DCT for OFDM Modulator and Demodulator, with fewer computational steps than some other transforms. The design has been coded in VHDL and put into Xilinx Spartan3 FPGAs. The developed OFDMA communication structure can then be targeted to the OFDMA based WiMAX and other wireless communication systems, for increasing their efficiency by utilizing FPGA based DCT algorithm.

Co-crystals have gained considerable attention from the generic pharmaceutical industry after the USFDA released its finalized guidlines in the year 2018 on the regulatory classification of co-crystals. In this review, we discussed how co-crystals could be explored as a potential alternative solid form for the development of a generic product that meets the legal, regulatory, and bioequivalence requirements. In the contents, we discussed in detail concepts such as the selection of coformers, various ways of making co-crystals, the strategy of characterization to discriminate between co-crystal and salt, polymorphism in co-crystals, the aspects of intellectual property and, finally, the regulatory aspects of co-crystals.

All urine culture proven children aged 0-16 years were included in the study. Urine culture showed growth of single pathogen and pathogen had more 10,000 colonies. Urine samples were obtained by SPA, clean catch, urinary catheter. Pre-designed proforma was used to note down the etiology and resistance pattern of urinary tract infection. SPSS version 25 was used to analyse data. Results: Of 177 patients, 70.1 % were females and 29.9% were males. Most common organism was E.coli 71.2% (n=126) followed by Klebsiella pneumonia 16.9% (n=30). Proteus Mirabilis 6.8% (n=12), and Pseudomonas aeruginosa 5.1% (n=9). Most common organism E.coli was 78% and 72.7% sensitive to nitrofurantoin and amikacin respectively and 85.1%, 91.4% and 77.3% resistance to ceftriaxone, ciprofloxacin and ampicillin respectively. This study will help in choosing choice of antibiotic on empirical basis for better outcome in resources limited setting like in remote areas and reduced financial burden on community. The research follows the mixed-method approach. In the media industry, the portrayal of women all around the globe has been a subject of stereotypical agendas. These motives are discussed, considered, and pondered over. This is not the case in Pakistan. The topic of basing conventional narratives is still a well-known culture. In order to support this claim, this paper looked into the discrepancies between how Pakistani women are typically portrayed in Pakistani dramas and where they fit into the community. With the current affairs in Pakistan, Pakistani women are taking a stand for themselves and their rights, be that as it may, dramas still ponder over them being victims of society. This delineated outline will probe over the representation of women in dramas compared to society; is this the proper characterization of women, or not?

The Kawagarh Formation is well exposed among the upper Indus Basin, and has been studied by various workers in different aspects. Kawagarh Formation exposed in Kahi section of Nizampur Basin has been selected in this study to know the behavior of carbonate rocks for engineering purposes. Lithologically, this formation is composed of thick to medium bedded, highly fractured limestone, marls, and dolomitic limestone which has undertaken diagenetic alteration including dolomite, calcite veins, and stylolites. Followed by petrographic analysis which reveals that the Kawagarh limestone is mostly fossiliferous comprised of a large number of planktonic foraminifera fossils like Globotruncana Hilli and Globotruncana Linneana fossils. Furthermore, to know the impact of petrographic minerals on engin...

ResNet-18 architecture (state of the art deep learning computer vision algorithms) is used to diagnose these cases. Results: A total of 161 images of psammomatous meningioma and 159 images of normal tissue are used; 80% of the collected data was used for training, where 20% for testing purposes. Using deep learning, we achieved 98.79 F1-Score and 98.4% accuracy. Discussion: The advancement in the field of artificial intelligence has opened a lot of new channels and generated new opportunities to develop computer-aided diagnostic systems. The applications of machine learning have revealed promising results for the histopathological evaluation of neoplastic lesions. In the present study, the excellent diagnostic accuracy (98.4 %) has been achieved with the convolutional neural network architecture. There was an F1-score of 98.79 for the diagnosis of psammomatous meningioma in the present series. The studies conducted for the diagnosis of breast cancer metastasis, lung carcinoma, prostatic malignant tumors, and basal cell carcinoma also revealed excellent results. Convolutional neural network (CNN) architecture is emerging as a quite efficient deep machine learning tool for the analysis of the pathology images. This technology may be quite a valuable adjunct tool in diagnostic surgical pathology.

There are a range of MWF products available on the market, however there are very few reliable low cost machining based fluid screening tests which can help select the most suitable candidate. This study developed a novel and rigorous single point milling (SPM) procedure carried out under controlled conditions, which would provide fluid performance differentiation for a range of typical aerospace alloys. The use of a single insert with a controlled geometry reduced machining variance and ensured performance repeatability. Tool life curves were used to determine optimum machining surface speeds for Inconel 718 (In718) of 80 m/min and Ti-6Al-4V (Ti64) of 160 m/min. Carrying out trials using five different cutting fluid products within a controlled tool life window clearly demonstrated that the SPM machining test was able to differentiate performance on both In718 and Ti64 mate...

India is also going through a challenging situation as the number of infected/positive cases is increasing day by day. With strict preventive measures and restrictions by the Indian Government in the form of nationwide lockdown, the citizens are going through a range of psychological and emotion reactions, fear and uncertainty being one of them. This study was conducted with the aim of exploring the impact of Covid-19 and lockdown on the mental health of individuals. DASS-21 was used to assess Depression, Anxiety and Stress among 1000 respondents. Results suggest that there is a significant difference among Depression, Anxiety and Stress across age, gender and employment. Also, Depression was found to be high among the respondents of age range 15-35 years, Anxiety was found to be prevalent among those belonging to 21-25 years of age and Stress was found to be high in individuals of 21-25 years of age.

Materials and Methods: The nanoparticles of silver oxide (30-70 nm in diameter) were prepared by physical methods and administered orally to 3 experimental groups of BALB/c mice in the strength of 250, 375, and 500 mg/kg, respectively for 21 days. Liver, kidney, and muscle tissue specimens from control and nanoparticles exposed groups have been collected for histopathological evaluation. Results: The liver and kidney tissue of the mice fed with 500 mg/kg of silver nanoparticles revealed portal inflammation in the liver tissue and mild interstitial inflammation in the renal tissue. There is no histopathological evidence of any toxic effects in the other groups The muscle tissue from all experimental groups is unremarkable. Discussion: The dose, size of nanoparticles, duration, the route of exposure and limiting factors for nanoparticles induced toxic effects. Hence further studies with different variables regarding the nanoparticles exposure will be helpful for a better understanding of toxicity caused by nanoparticles.
