Lisansüstü düzeyde harmanlanmış öğrenme modelini temel alan ve öğretmen adaylarını örneklem grubu... more Lisansüstü düzeyde harmanlanmış öğrenme modelini temel alan ve öğretmen adaylarını örneklem grubu olarak tercih eden tez çalışmalarını incelemek bu araştırmanın amacıdır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda doküman incelemesi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Yüksek Öğretim Kurulu (YÖK) Ulusal Tez Merkezi ve TÜBESS (Türkiye Belge Sağlama Sistemi) sistemi üzerinden çalışmalara çevrimiçi erişim sağlanmıştır. Araştırmanın ölçütlerini karşılayan tez çalışmaları araştırmaya dahil edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz yöntemiyle çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda 29 adet yüksek lisans ve 31 adet doktora tezi olmak üzere toplam 60 çalışmaya ulaşılmıştır. Bu çalışmaların en fazla 2009 yılında, Eğitim Bilimleri Enstitüsü bünyesinde ve Bilgisayar ve Öğretim Teknolojileri Eğitimi Ana Bilim Dalı altında üretildiği görülmektedir. Although the benefits of regular physical activity are clearly expressed, children with Autism Sp... more Although the benefits of regular physical activity are clearly expressed, children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are less physically active than their typically developing peers. Recent empirical studies have revealed that the level of physical activity of children with ASD has further decreased during the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, which has adversely affected the whole world. The aim of this study was to evaluate the potential efficacy of a Zoom-delivered physical activities for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Twenty-two families (parent and child dyads) participated in the study. Families were assigned randomly to an experimental group (n = 11) and a control group (n = 11). Families in the experimental group were engaged in 10 weeks of the Zoom-delivered physical activities. Data were collected using multiple data collection strategies (Personal Information Form-Leisure Time Exercise Questionnaire-Semi-Structured Interview). After the Zoom-delivered physical activities, a significant increase was observed in the physical activity level of children with ASD in the experimental group (F = 95.396, p = 0.000, Ƞ 2 = 0.834). Parents reported that Zoom-delivered physical activities are a viable and useful intervention to increase the level of physical activity of children with ASD. The findings suggest that Zoom-delivered physical activities merit further investigation as an intervention to increase physical activity in children with ASD.

This study was conducted to determine the relationship between the emotional intelligence and met... more This study was conducted to determine the relationship between the emotional intelligence and metaprogram levels of sports administrators. The sample of this study is 100 volunteer sport administrators (the mean age of 30,08) who are active in Spor A.Ş. (Istanbul Sports Activities Company) and Province Directorate of Youth Services and Sports Istanbul. Data were obtained using a personal information form, Baron Emotional Intelligence Scale and the scale of metaprogram. SPSS statistics program was used for the findings of this study. In the evaluation of the data were used the frequency, t-test, ANOVA and correlation analysis. When looking the averages of emotional intelligence and metaprogram, emotional intelligence and its metaprograms were evaluated in the range of "agree". It was seems in measurements of emotional intelligence of the Sports managers that they have agreed the optimism, happiness, problem solving, social responsibility, interpersonal relationships, empathy, self-esteem and self-determination sub-dimensions. It have been identified that in metaprogram sub-dimensions, they have agreed all subdimensions except "result". When looking the gender, there is no difference in metaprogram but it have been identified that women are better than men on interpersonal relationships, emotional self-awareness sub-dimensions of the emotional intelligence. It was shown that there was a significant positive relationship between the sub-dimensions of the emotional intelligence and the sub-dimensions of the metaprogram of the sports managers (significant at the 0.05 level).

The purpose in this investigation was to determine whether or not goal orientation and self-effic... more The purpose in this investigation was to determine whether or not goal orientation and self-efficacy level could predict the motivation to participate in adolescent male soccer players. Participants were 159 male soccer players aged 13 and 14 (M = 13.43, SD = .49). Multiple regression analysis was used to analyze data. Achievement/status and competition were positively predicted by ego orientation. Skill development was positively predicted by task orientation. Team affiliation, being active/movement, and fitness/energy were positively predicted by self-efficacy. Goal orientation and self-efficacy were not found to be significant predictors of fun and friendship.

The target population of the study consists of 305 team athletes whose age average is 20.45 ± 4.68 and who are training with the same trainer for average of 2.01 ± 1.69 years and from basketball, football and volleyball branches. In this study, “Moral Disengagement in Sport” and “Athlete’s Perception about Coaches’ Unethical Behaviors” scales have been used as data collection tools. This study aims to evaluate the e-learning status of physical education teacher candidates. To th... more This study aims to evaluate the e-learning status of physical education teacher candidates. To this end, we chose a mixed research method that combines the qualitative and quantitative data. We used "convergent parallel design" as our research design. A total of 111 teacher candidates, 65 men and 46 women, participated in the study. To determine the sample group, we chose purposive cum convenience sampling, which is one of the purposive sampling approaches. We utilized the "personal information form," as well as "Attitude Towards e-Learning Scale" which was developed by Haznedar & Baran (2012) as the quantitative data collection tool. For the collection of the qualitative data we used the interview forms. We analyzed the obtained data through SPSS 22 package program. During the analysis of the data we conducted Kolmogorov-Smirnov test to determine the normal distribution and according to the test results we used parametric statistics methods, which are descriptive statistics, t-test for two different independent variables and One Way Anova test for more than two independent variables. We used the content analysis method in the evaluation of the qualitative data. Evaluating the quantitative findings obtained through research, the study does not find any significant difference between the mean e-learning attitude scale scores of the participants and sexuality, e-learning knowledge level, time of daily using internet, purpose of using internet. Significant difference was found in the variables of age and working out of school. Reviewing of the qualitative findings in order to support the quantitative findings, we identify four sub-themes under the elearning main theme, which are "information status", "positive aspects", "negative aspects" and "necessity status." According to these themes, the findings demonstrate that most of the participants are informed about elearning. Participants frequently state freedom of time and place and practicality as the positive aspects of e-learning, while stating the absence of physical class atmosphere and not being able to receive instant feedback as the negative aspects. Additionally, the participants express the necessity of e-learning in terms of enriching the course content, teaching of theoretical lessons and adapting to the age of education and training, whilst also stating that e-learning results in inefficient social interactions, lack of practical lessons and decreasing job opportunities in the field and therefore it is not a necessity during education and training.

The aim of this study is investigation of secondary school students' attitudes toward violence wi... more The aim of this study is investigation of secondary school students' attitudes toward violence with physical education lessons' sportspersonship behaviours according to certain independent variables. A total of 209 (age= 12.18 ± 1.06) students, 108 females and 101 males, participated in the research. The data analysis included descriptive statistics, Ttest, Pearson moments multiplication correlation analysis, and one-factor variance analysis (ANOVA). In the study analyses show that secondary school sportspersonship levels are high and they are not participate to attitudes toward violence. There is avoidant, low level, meaningful relation between avoiding negative behaviours and attitudes toward violence. In addition, students exhibiting Sportspersonship behaviours were found to be higher than students who played in the school team, and students who did not participate in the sport were more likely to avoid Sportspersonship than students who were not active in the competition. As a result, it is thought that educational institutions can help to reduce violence while increasing the Sportspersonship behaviours by encouraging the orientation of the students to the school teams in order to improve the Sportspersonship and moral values of the students.

Öz: Çalışmanın amacı elit kadın basketbol oyuncularının algılanan stres, optimal performans duygu... more Öz: Çalışmanın amacı elit kadın basketbol oyuncularının algılanan stres, optimal performans duygu durumu ve karar verme stillerinin bazı bağımsız değişkenlere göre incelenmesi ve aralarındaki ilişkinin ortaya koyulmasıdır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2015-2016 sezonunda Türkiye Kadınlar Basketbol Süper Liginde oynayan 63 kadın sporcu (yaş=24.20±5.12) oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak, Melbourne Karar Verme Ölçeği, Sürekli Optimal Performans Duygu Durumu Ölçeği ve Algılanan Stres Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde Pearson Momentler Çarpımı Korelasyon analizi, t testi ve Tek Faktörlü Varyans Analizi kullanılmıştır. Yaşa göre optimal performans duygu durumu alt boyutlarından kontrol duygusu alt boyutunda anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmiştir (p<0.05). Basketbol oynama yılına göre ise açık hedefler alt boyutunda anlamlı farklılık bulunmuştur (p<0.05). Yaş ve basketbol oynama yılına göre algılanan stres ve karar verme stillerinde anlamlı farklılık görülmezken; sakatlık geçirme durumlarına göre algılanan stresin alt boyutlarından olan yetersiz öz yeterlik algılarında anlamlı farklılık görülmüştür (p<0.05). Korelasyon analizi sonucunda, karar verme stillerinden dikkatli karar verme alt boyutu ile optimal performans duygu durumu alt boyutlarından açık hedefler, belirli geri bildirim ve göreve odaklanma arasında pozitif yönde düşük derecede anlamlı ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Kaçıngan karar verme ile yetersiz öz yeterlik algısı arasında ise negatif yönde düşük derecede anlamlı ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yaşça büyük sporcuların açık hedeflerde daha iyi oldukları ve tecrübesi arttıkça kontrol duygusunun arttığı ayrıca sakatlık geçirmiş sporcuların daha yetersiz öz-yeterlik duygusuna sahip olduğu söylenebilir.

Son yıllarda konuyla ilgili bilim insanları tarafından çocukluk çağı obezitesinin arttığı sıkça i... more Son yıllarda konuyla ilgili bilim insanları tarafından çocukluk çağı obezitesinin arttığı sıkça ifade edilmektedir. Klinik gözlem ve akademik araştırmalara dayandırılan bu artışın, yanlış beslenme ve fiziksel aktivite yetersizliği ile yakından ilişkisi bulunmaktadır. Bir yandan aktivite alanlarını kısıtlayan kent yaşamı, çocukların günlük yaşam alışkanlıklarını etkileyen TV ve bilgisayar oyunları ile azalan fiziksel aktivitenin öte yandan yanlış beslenme davranışlarının bu durumu oluşturduğu bilinmektedir. Çocukluk çağı obezitesi kişilerin kalp-damar hastalıkları, diyabet vb. şişmanlıkla ilişkili pek çok sağlık problemi ile erken yaşlarda tanışmalarına sebep olmaktadır. Yapılan çalışmalar çocukluk çağında obez olanların %42-63'ünün erişkinlikte de obez olduklarını göstermektedir. Çalışma ile İstanbul İli Bayrampaşa İlçesi'ndeki Uluğbey İlköğretim Okulu'nun 7. ve 8. sınıflarına devam eden öğrencilerinin beslenme davranışları ve obezite durumlarına spor aktivitelerinin etkisinin ilişkilendirilmesi suretiyle obezite ile mücadele çalışmalarına, çocukların sağlıklı büyüme-gelişmelerine ve uzun dönemli koruyucu hekimlik uygulamalarına katkıda bulunmak hedeflenmiştir.

Öz: Bu çalışmanın amacı antrenörlerin kişilik özelliklerini ve mesleki etik ilkelere uyma düzeyle... more Öz: Bu çalışmanın amacı antrenörlerin kişilik özelliklerini ve mesleki etik ilkelere uyma düzeylerinin bazı bağımsız değişkenlere göre belirlenmesidir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, İstanbul ilinde farklı spor kulüplerinde ve spor branşlarında antrenörlük yapmakta olan 36 kadın, 56 erkek yaşları 20 ile 45 arasında değişen 92 birey oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada 'Antrenörlerin Mesleki Etik İlkeleri Ölçeği' ve 'Beş Faktör Kişilik Envanteri' kullanılmıştır. İstatistiki yöntem olarak; betimsel istatistikler; t-testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA), Tukey çoklu karşılaştırma, Pearson korelasyon testleri kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular, araştırma grubunda yer alan antrenörlerin etik ilkelere uyma düzeylerinin orta düzeyin üzerinde olduğunu göstermektedir. Katılımcıların kişilik özelliklerinden Dışa Dönüklük, Yumuşak Başlılık, Özdenetim, ve Deneyime Açıklık puanları orta düzeyin üzerindedir, Nörotizm ise orta düzeydedir. Antrenörlerin etik ilkelere uyma düzeyleri, cinsiyet, yaş ve medeni durum değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir şekilde farklılaşırken; eğitim durumuna ve antrenörlük yılına göre farklılaşmamaktadır. Antrenörlerin kişilik özellikleri cinsiyet ve yaş değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir şekilde farklılaşmaktadır. Antrenörlerin etik ilkelere uyma düzeyleri ile kişilik özelliklerinden nörotizm arasında negatif ve diğer boyutlar arasında pozitif yönde ilişki görülmüştür. Sonuç olarak kaygı, depresyon öfke gibi olumsuz duygular yaşayan antrenörlerin mesleki etik ilkelerine uyma düzeylerinin daha düşük olduğu ancak daha sosyal, cana yakın, güvenilir, sorumluluk ve liderlik kişilik özelliklerine sahip antrenörlerin mesleki etik ilkelere uyma düzeylerinin daha yüksek olduğu söylenebilir.

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between the motivation and dispositional flo... more The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between the motivation and dispositional flow state among football players of 12-16 age group. 125 football players participating in the U13-U16 Football Leagues were included in this study. For the data collection was used the Sport Motivation Scale and Dispositional Flow Scale-2 Sport Motivation Scale consists of 28 multiplechoice questions. Dispositional Flow Scale-2 consists of 36 multiple-choice questions. In the analyses applied a correlation between the Sport Motivation Scale and sub-dimensions of Dispositional Flow Scale-2. In the analysis applied a Pearson correlation between age and education criteria and all sub-dimensions. As a result of this study, if athletes are not motivated, optimal performance was found to be low. It was determined that sources of external pressures, reward motivation and the desire to respect increased with age. It was observed that Dispositional Flow Scale-2 values decrease with advancing age. The study has shown that the motivation of the football players improves the performance of these athletes in specific sub-dimensions.

This study aimed to examine the relationship between mental toughness and decisionmaking styles, ... more This study aimed to examine the relationship between mental toughness and decisionmaking styles, and whether mental toughness and decision-making styles differ depending on independent variables in triathletes. We used relational screening method which is one of the quantitative research models in this study. As data collection tools, we used "Personal Information Form," the "Mental Toughness" scale which was adapted to Turkish by Altıntaş and Koruç (2017) and the "Decision Making Styles" scale which was adapted to Turkish by Deniz (2004). We used descriptive statistics (frequency, arithmetic mean, standard deviation); Spearman Correlation analysis, Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal Wallis tests as means of statistical method to evaluate the data that are not in accordance with normal distribution. According to the mean scale scores, findings of the study state that confidence dimension in mental toughness scale and careful decision-making dimension in decisionmaking styles scale had the highest scores. Additionally, the study showed significant correlation between sub-dimensions of the mental toughness scale and sub-dimensions of the decision-making styles scales. Mean mental toughness scale scores of participants demonstrate significant difference based on national athlete status, injuries and sports experience, while mean decision-making scale scores demonstrate significant difference in terms of age; although no significant difference regarding gender was found in this study. Examining decision making and mental toughness in triathlon athletes that participated in this study, we can conclude that the athletes that has not suffered from an injury are mentally more relaxed during positions, having more sports experience increases athletes' selfconfidence while younger athletes may behave in panicked, avoidant or irresponsible manners due to their inexperience. Correlation analysis shows that athletes with higher sense of self-confidence tend to make more careful decisions.

Although the benefits of regular physical activity are clearly expressed, children with Autism Sp... more Although the benefits of regular physical activity are clearly expressed, children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are less physically active than their typically developing peers. Recent empirical studies have revealed that the level of physical activity of children with ASD has further decreased during the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, which has adversely affected the whole world. The aim of this study was to evaluate the potential efficacy of a Zoom-delivered physical activities for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Twenty-two families (parent and child dyads) participated in the study. Families were assigned randomly to an experimental group (n = 11) and a control group (n = 11). Families in the experimental group were engaged in 10 weeks of the Zoom-delivered physical activities. Data were collected using multiple data collection strategies (Personal Information Form-Leisure Time Exercise Questionnaire-Semi-Structured Interview). After the Zoom-delivered physical activities, a significant increase was observed in the physical activity level of children with ASD in the experimental group (F = 95.396, p = 0.000, Ƞ 2 = 0.834). Parents reported that Zoom-delivered physical activities are a viable and useful intervention to increase the level of physical activity of children with ASD. The findings suggest that Zoom-delivered physical activities merit further investigation as an intervention to increase physical activity in children with ASD.

The sample of this study is 100 volunteer sport administrators (the mean age of 30,08) who are active in Spor A.Ş. (Istanbul Sports Activities Company) and Province Directorate of Youth Services and Sports Istanbul. Data were obtained using a personal information form, Baron Emotional Intelligence Scale and the scale of metaprogram. SPSS statistics program was used for the findings of this study. In the evaluation of the data were used the frequency, t-test, ANOVA and correlation analysis. When looking the averages of emotional intelligence and metaprogram, emotional intelligence and its metaprograms were evaluated in the range of "agree". It was seems in measurements of emotional intelligence of the Sports managers that they have agreed the optimism, happiness, problem solving, social responsibility, interpersonal relationships, empathy, self-esteem and self-determination sub-dimensions. It have been identified that in metaprogram sub-dimensions, they have agreed all subdimensions except "result". When looking the gender, there is no difference in metaprogram but it have been identified that women are better than men on interpersonal relationships, emotional self-awareness sub-dimensions of the emotional intelligence. It was shown that there was a significant positive relationship between the sub-dimensions of the emotional intelligence and the sub-dimensions of the metaprogram of the sports managers (significant at the 0.05 level).

Participants were 159 male soccer players aged 13 and 14 (M = 13.43, SD = .49). Multiple regression analysis was used to analyze data. Achievement/status and competition were positively predicted by ego orientation. Skill development was positively predicted by task orientation. Team affiliation, being active/movement, and fitness/energy were positively predicted by self-efficacy. Goal orientation and self-efficacy were not found to be significant predictors of fun and friendship.

This study aims to evaluate the e-learning status of physical education teacher candidates. To th... more This study aims to evaluate the e-learning status of physical education teacher candidates. To this end, we chose a mixed research method that combines the qualitative and quantitative data. We used "convergent parallel design" as our research design. A total of 111 teacher candidates, 65 men and 46 women, participated in the study. To determine the sample group, we chose purposive cum convenience sampling, which is one of the purposive sampling approaches. We utilized the "personal information form," as well as "Attitude Towards e-Learning Scale" which was developed by Haznedar & Baran (2012) as the quantitative data collection tool. For the collection of the qualitative data we used the interview forms. We analyzed the obtained data through SPSS 22 package program. During the analysis of the data we conducted Kolmogorov-Smirnov test to determine the normal distribution and according to the test results we used parametric statistics methods, which are descriptive statistics, t-test for two different independent variables and One Way Anova test for more than two independent variables. We used the content analysis method in the evaluation of the qualitative data. Evaluating the quantitative findings obtained through research, the study does not find any significant difference between the mean e-learning attitude scale scores of the participants and sexuality, e-learning knowledge level, time of daily using internet, purpose of using internet. Significant difference was found in the variables of age and working out of school. Reviewing of the qualitative findings in order to support the quantitative findings, we identify four sub-themes under the elearning main theme, which are "information status", "positive aspects", "negative aspects" and "necessity status." According to these themes, the findings demonstrate that most of the participants are informed about elearning. Participants frequently state freedom of time and place and practicality as the positive aspects of e-learning, while stating the absence of physical class atmosphere and not being able to receive instant feedback as the negative aspects. Additionally, the participants express the necessity of e-learning in terms of enriching the course content, teaching of theoretical lessons and adapting to the age of education and training, whilst also stating that e-learning results in inefficient social interactions, lack of practical lessons and decreasing job opportunities in the field and therefore it is not a necessity during education and training.

A total of 209 (age= 12.18 ± 1.06) students, 108 females and 101 males, participated in the research. The data analysis included descriptive statistics, Ttest, Pearson moments multiplication correlation analysis, and one-factor variance analysis (ANOVA). In the study analyses show that secondary school sportspersonship levels are high and they are not participate to attitudes toward violence. There is avoidant, low level, meaningful relation between avoiding negative behaviours and attitudes toward violence. In addition, students exhibiting Sportspersonship behaviours were found to be higher than students who played in the school team, and students who did not participate in the sport were more likely to avoid Sportspersonship than students who were not active in the competition. As a result, it is thought that educational institutions can help to reduce violence while increasing the Sportspersonship behaviours by encouraging the orientation of the students to the school teams in order to improve the Sportspersonship and moral values of the students.

Öz: Çalışmanın amacı elit kadın basketbol oyuncularının algılanan stres, optimal performans duygu... more Öz: Çalışmanın amacı elit kadın basketbol oyuncularının algılanan stres, optimal performans duygu durumu ve karar verme stillerinin bazı bağımsız değişkenlere göre incelenmesi ve aralarındaki ilişkinin ortaya koyulmasıdır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2015-2016 sezonunda Türkiye Kadınlar Basketbol Süper Liginde oynayan 63 kadın sporcu (yaş=24.20±5.12) oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak, Melbourne Karar Verme Ölçeği, Sürekli Optimal Performans Duygu Durumu Ölçeği ve Algılanan Stres Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde Pearson Momentler Çarpımı Korelasyon analizi, t testi ve Tek Faktörlü Varyans Analizi kullanılmıştır. Yaşa göre optimal performans duygu durumu alt boyutlarından kontrol duygusu alt boyutunda anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmiştir (p<0.05). Basketbol oynama yılına göre ise açık hedefler alt boyutunda anlamlı farklılık bulunmuştur (p<0.05). Yaş ve basketbol oynama yılına göre algılanan stres ve karar verme stillerinde anlamlı farklılık görülmezken; sakatlık geçirme durumlarına göre algılanan stresin alt boyutlarından olan yetersiz öz yeterlik algılarında anlamlı farklılık görülmüştür (p<0.05). Korelasyon analizi sonucunda, karar verme stillerinden dikkatli karar verme alt boyutu ile optimal performans duygu durumu alt boyutlarından açık hedefler, belirli geri bildirim ve göreve odaklanma arasında pozitif yönde düşük derecede anlamlı ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Kaçıngan karar verme ile yetersiz öz yeterlik algısı arasında ise negatif yönde düşük derecede anlamlı ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yaşça büyük sporcuların açık hedeflerde daha iyi oldukları ve tecrübesi arttıkça kontrol duygusunun arttığı ayrıca sakatlık geçirmiş sporcuların daha yetersiz öz-yeterlik duygusuna sahip olduğu söylenebilir.

Klinik gözlem ve akademik araştırmalara dayandırılan bu artışın, yanlış beslenme ve fiziksel aktivite yetersizliği ile yakından ilişkisi bulunmaktadır. Bir yandan aktivite alanlarını kısıtlayan kent yaşamı, çocukların günlük yaşam alışkanlıklarını etkileyen TV ve bilgisayar oyunları ile azalan fiziksel aktivitenin öte yandan yanlış beslenme davranışlarının bu durumu oluşturduğu bilinmektedir. Çocukluk çağı obezitesi kişilerin kalp-damar hastalıkları, diyabet vb. şişmanlıkla ilişkili pek çok sağlık problemi ile erken yaşlarda tanışmalarına sebep olmaktadır. Yapılan çalışmalar çocukluk çağında obez olanların %42-63'ünün erişkinlikte de obez olduklarını göstermektedir. Çalışma ile İstanbul İli Bayrampaşa İlçesi'ndeki Uluğbey İlköğretim Okulu'nun 7. ve 8. sınıflarına devam eden öğrencilerinin beslenme davranışları ve obezite durumlarına spor aktivitelerinin etkisinin ilişkilendirilmesi suretiyle obezite ile mücadele çalışmalarına, çocukların sağlıklı büyüme-gelişmelerine ve uzun dönemli koruyucu hekimlik uygulamalarına katkıda bulunmak hedeflenmiştir.

Öz: Bu çalışmanın amacı antrenörlerin kişilik özelliklerini ve mesleki etik ilkelere uyma düzeyle... more Öz: Bu çalışmanın amacı antrenörlerin kişilik özelliklerini ve mesleki etik ilkelere uyma düzeylerinin bazı bağımsız değişkenlere göre belirlenmesidir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, İstanbul ilinde farklı spor kulüplerinde ve spor branşlarında antrenörlük yapmakta olan 36 kadın, 56 erkek yaşları 20 ile 45 arasında değişen 92 birey oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada 'Antrenörlerin Mesleki Etik İlkeleri Ölçeği' ve 'Beş Faktör Kişilik Envanteri' kullanılmıştır. İstatistiki yöntem olarak; betimsel istatistikler; t-testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA), Tukey çoklu karşılaştırma, Pearson korelasyon testleri kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular, araştırma grubunda yer alan antrenörlerin etik ilkelere uyma düzeylerinin orta düzeyin üzerinde olduğunu göstermektedir. Katılımcıların kişilik özelliklerinden Dışa Dönüklük, Yumuşak Başlılık, Özdenetim, ve Deneyime Açıklık puanları orta düzeyin üzerindedir, Nörotizm ise orta düzeydedir. Antrenörlerin etik ilkelere uyma düzeyleri, cinsiyet, yaş ve medeni durum değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir şekilde farklılaşırken; eğitim durumuna ve antrenörlük yılına göre farklılaşmamaktadır. Antrenörlerin kişilik özellikleri cinsiyet ve yaş değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir şekilde farklılaşmaktadır. Antrenörlerin etik ilkelere uyma düzeyleri ile kişilik özelliklerinden nörotizm arasında negatif ve diğer boyutlar arasında pozitif yönde ilişki görülmüştür. Sonuç olarak kaygı, depresyon öfke gibi olumsuz duygular yaşayan antrenörlerin mesleki etik ilkelerine uyma düzeylerinin daha düşük olduğu ancak daha sosyal, cana yakın, güvenilir, sorumluluk ve liderlik kişilik özelliklerine sahip antrenörlerin mesleki etik ilkelere uyma düzeylerinin daha yüksek olduğu söylenebilir.

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between the motivation and dispositional flo... more The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between the motivation and dispositional flow state among football players of 12-16 age group. 125 football players participating in the U13-U16 Football Leagues were included in this study. For the data collection was used the Sport Motivation Scale and Dispositional Flow Scale-2 Sport Motivation Scale consists of 28 multiplechoice questions. Dispositional Flow Scale-2 consists of 36 multiple-choice questions. In the analyses applied a correlation between the Sport Motivation Scale and sub-dimensions of Dispositional Flow Scale-2. In the analysis applied a Pearson correlation between age and education criteria and all sub-dimensions. As a result of this study, if athletes are not motivated, optimal performance was found to be low. It was determined that sources of external pressures, reward motivation and the desire to respect increased with age. It was observed that Dispositional Flow Scale-2 values decrease with advancing age. The study has shown that the motivation of the football players improves the performance of these athletes in specific sub-dimensions.

This study aimed to examine the relationship between mental toughness and decisionmaking styles, ... more This study aimed to examine the relationship between mental toughness and decisionmaking styles, and whether mental toughness and decision-making styles differ depending on independent variables in triathletes. We used relational screening method which is one of the quantitative research models in this study. As data collection tools, we used "Personal Information Form," the "Mental Toughness" scale which was adapted to Turkish by Altıntaş and Koruç (2017) and the "Decision Making Styles" scale which was adapted to Turkish by Deniz (2004). We used descriptive statistics (frequency, arithmetic mean, standard deviation); Spearman Correlation analysis, Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal Wallis tests as means of statistical method to evaluate the data that are not in accordance with normal distribution. According to the mean scale scores, findings of the study state that confidence dimension in mental toughness scale and careful decision-making dimension in decisionmaking styles scale had the highest scores. Additionally, the study showed significant correlation between sub-dimensions of the mental toughness scale and sub-dimensions of the decision-making styles scales. Mean mental toughness scale scores of participants demonstrate significant difference based on national athlete status, injuries and sports experience, while mean decision-making scale scores demonstrate significant difference in terms of age; although no significant difference regarding gender was found in this study. Examining decision making and mental toughness in triathlon athletes that participated in this study, we can conclude that the athletes that has not suffered from an injury are mentally more relaxed during positions, having more sports experience increases athletes' selfconfidence while younger athletes may behave in panicked, avoidant or irresponsible manners due to their inexperience. Correlation analysis shows that athletes with higher sense of self-confidence tend to make more careful decisions.
