In this study, we synthesized new series of 5-oxo-2-phenyl-4-(arylsulfamoyl)sulphenyl) hydrazono)... more In this study, we synthesized new series of 5-oxo-2-phenyl-4-(arylsulfamoyl)sulphenyl) hydrazono)-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrrole-3-carboxylate hybrids 4a-f with the goal of overcoming sulfonamide resistance and identifying novel therapeutic candidates by chemical changes. The chemical structures of the synthesized hybrids were established over the spectroscopic tools. The frontier molecular orbitals configuration and energetic possessions of the synthesized compounds were discovered utilizing DFT/B3LYP/6-311++ G** procedure. The 3D plots of both HOMO and LUMO showed comparable configuration of both HOMO and LUMO led to close values of their energies. Amongst the prepared analogues, the sulfonamide hybrids 4a-f, hybrid 4a presented potent inhibitory towards S. typhimurium with (IZD = 15 mm, MIC = 19.24 µg/mL) and significant inhibition with (IZD = 19 mm, MIC = 11.31 µg/mL) against E.coli in contrast to sulfonamide (Sulfamethoxazole) reference Whereas, hybrid 4d demonstrated potent inhibition with (IZD = 16 mm, MIC = 19.24 µg/mL) against S. typhimurium with enhanced inhibition against E. Coli, Additionally, the generated sulfonamide analogues'' molecular docking was estimated over (PDB: 3TZF and 6CLV) proteins. Analogue 4e had the highest documented binding score as soon as linked to the other analogues. The docking consequences were fitting and addressed with the antibacterial valuation.

The impressive optical effect of fluorescence is of interest not only for marking inks but also for safety wear and signage, as well as for security printing and leak proofing. The chemistry and physics of fluorescent dyes are well developed, with many applications in an expanding field such as optical whitening agents for paper, textiles and various other white or bright materials [7, 11-14], laser dyes and organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) [15, 16]. The application of fluorescent dyes in health-related field is considered one of the most important functional applications and researchers pay more attention to these topics. Since many applications in vitro or in vivo cannot be seen directly and must be viewed with the use of imaging equipment, the fluorescence change of some organic dyes could be very important techniques for this kind of application [17]. One of the biggest public health concerns now is bacteria, which has been linked to many hospital-acquired diseases [18].

In this context, reactive dyeing of cellulosic materials such as cotton fabrics is a major sector of textile coloration that necessitates the use of a large amount of sodium sulfate or sodium chloride and alkali to exhaust and fix the dye molecules with cellulosic macromolecules, respectively. However, the remaining salt and alkali in the effluent badly affect the environment. For this purpose, the use of trisodium nitrilotriacetate (TNA) in reactive dyeing of cotton fabrics was hypothesized to have a double benefit, one as an exhausting agent (organic salt) and the second as a fixing agent (organic base). Thus, the exhaust dyeing characteristics of cotton fabrics using C.I. Reactive Yellow 145 (RY145) was optimized under different conditions of TNA concentration, alkali concentration, t...

The reaction of 2,4-dichloro-6-(trityloxy)1,3,5-triazine with 2-aminothiazole, 2-aminobenzo-thiazole, hydrazine hydrate, were also studied. The structures of the new products were characterized by common analytical and spectroscopic methods. The antimicrobial activity of prepared compounds against gram positive bacteria Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans were investigated.

All of the dyes were confirmed as keto-hydrazone tautomers and were found as a mixtures of E- and Z- isomers with respect to the exocyclic C=N bond by 1H NMR spectroscopy. The absorption spectra are all similar irrespective of substituent and solvent. By comparison the fluorescence is strongly dependent on the electronic character of the substituents. All compounds fluoresce in a low temperature solvent glass and in the solid state except the ortho hydroxyl and ortho nitro derivatives and only the 4-cyanophenyl and 4-nitrophenyl derivatives show fluorescence in solution at room temperature. The spectroscopic behavior is explained in terms of competition between E/Z isomerisation and fluorescence after excitation. In the second part of...

The response of the smart cloth can be passive (just as a sensor) or active (where a combination of sensing and another reaction takes place). The materials involved in these textiles are crucial for many applications, especially for health related applications where the “wearables” can provide instantaneous monitoring and aid to people with certain disabilities. This work consists of two main parts: First it investigates the different materials used in smart clothing for monitoring the vital activities of the human body (e.g. the breathing rates) with an emphasis on piezoresistive structures as they work sensing elements for mechanical strains. Second this work presents the production of functional membrane samples based on synthesized pyrrolinone ester hydrazone dye with a preliminary investigation of their chemical and geometrical parameters, especially their sensitivit...

The prepared compounds were characterized by 1 H-NMR, mass spectrometry and elemental analysis. The UV/vis absorption spectra and emission spectra were measured in N, N-dimethylformamide (DMF) solution at room temperature, the effects of substituent's on the emission spectra of these compounds were interpreted. The dyeing application of the prepared dyes on wool and polyamide-6 fabrics at various concentrations of dye and different pH were investigated as well as the exhaustion and dye fixation were studied. The antibacterial activity of the prepared reactive disperse dyes were studied against different kind of bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus (Gram-positive bacteria) and Escherichia coli (Gram-negative bacteria). The antibacterial affinity of the prepared dyes was exhibit a significant effect compared with selected antibiotics as reference standard. The fastness properties of the dyed fabrics were studied which showing excellent wash fastness, rubbing and perspiration fastness as well as high stability to light.
