Diversos autores apoiam que os mapas mentais são ferramentas com potencial de auxiliar o processo... more Diversos autores apoiam que os mapas mentais são ferramentas com potencial de auxiliar o processo de ensino-aprendizagem, como Buzan e Farias, pois tanto o professor quanto o aluno se beneficiam, uma vez que a técnica dos mapas mentais torna um conteúdo complexo em algo mais fácil de assimilar. A inserção de tópicos complexos de Astronomia na Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC) desvelaram diversos problemas relacionados com a preparação dos professores e a natureza dos materiais didáticos pouco frequentes em língua portuguesa. Neste contexto, para contribuir com a minimização desses problemas, foi realizada uma proposta didática utilizando mapas mentais, apresentando o papel central de missões espaciais para o estudo de estrelas binárias, com destaque para as missões CoRot e Kepler, por serem as que mais detectaram estrelas binárias. Complex Systems is a branch of Statistical Mechanics that has gained great notoriety in recent ye... more Complex Systems is a branch of Statistical Mechanics that has gained great notoriety in recent years. In particular, Cellular Automata are a simple way to represent complex dynamical systems in which space and time are discrete. In addition to the high degree of nonlinearity, the Boltzmann-Gibbs formalism fails due to the non-extensibility of the systems. In some cases, Complex Systems appear at the typical scale, such as stock market fluctuations for example. In the case of epidemic modeling, cellular automata are used in the description of contagion processes, such phenomena are complex and have large-scale correlations. In this sense, cellular automata present a robust and precise tool for quantifying the spread of diseases in a population provided. In our work, we reported the temporal evolution of an infection in the square network, counting process is to introduce an interaction between first neighbors and the population in which the infection acts remains constant. We obtained, through the fourth-order Binder's cumulative, the instant of time when the peak of the infection occurs, we also carried out the characterization of the type of passage through which the system goes through. We also analyzed the impact that the parameter causes on the temporal evolution of the infection.

Numerous virtual environments with automatic program evaluation have emerged to assist the teachi... more Numerous virtual environments with automatic program evaluation have emerged to assist the teaching-learning process, allowing timely feedback. In a review of these environments, we find few studies that focus on an approach centered on refactoring: where students are strongly encouraged to refactor, improving the submitted code to also meet quality criteria. In a traditional environment, the student submits the answer and if it is dynamically correct, he goes to the next question. In this work, we propose a complementary approach based on software engineering metrics, which allow a finer evaluation of the code where the programmer, after having his dynamically correct answer, is invited and encouraged to refactor his solution towards an optimal code that also meets the software quality metrics. The study of flow patterns in multiphase flow is widely used in the oil industry. Many tools are ... more The study of flow patterns in multiphase flow is widely used in the oil industry. Many tools are being developed to help predict these flow patterns. Artificial Intelligence is a tool with high performance and great use to characterize physical phenomena and can be used to predict these flow patterns in multiphase flow. We developed an Artificial Neural Network to recognize and predict the flow patterns of multiphase flow using an experimental database. In addition to using the neural network, data processing was also carried out to improve the tool's effectiveness. For a complete analysis, we trained the network with several combinations of the patterns, the patterns being: intermittent, annular and stratified. We did not use the bubble pattern due to the difference in the amount of data available between this and the other patterns. A new class of random walks, Elephant Random Walks (ERW) in the memory type, non-Markovian, was p... more A new class of random walks, Elephant Random Walks (ERW) in the memory type, non-Markovian, was proposed by Schütz and Trimper characterized by diffusive regimes typical of anomalous diffusion. Following this line, we proposed a model of random walks guided by the principle of kinetic interaction (KIP), where, according to KIP, the temporal evolution of the distribution function of identical particles subject to binary collisions leads us to an ever-increasing functional with time, satisfying the statement of the irreversibility of the second law of Thermodynamics. We derived a distribution of the exponential that is discrete. In the limit , the distribution of the -exponential falls into the ordinary exponential distribution, where we found the typical Brownian diffusion. We mine the set of data provided by the ANP (Agência Nacional do Petróleo e Gás-National Oil and ... more We mine the set of data provided by the ANP (Agência Nacional do Petróleo e Gás-National Oil and Gas Agency), of petroleum production and distribution in Brazilian territory. We use modern data science techniques to collect, analyze, treat and model hydrocarbon production data from all production units operating in the period from February 2009 to 2020. We highlight the high production of hydrocarbons in the Brazilian territory related to the performance of Petrobras, responsible for about 95% of Brazilian production. We report the discovery of an apparent paradox: the Tupi field presents the highest daily production, however it is not the largest national producer, a position that belongs to the Marlim field, yet we present the data analytics techniques that we use to solve this paradox.

Verificamos a viabilidade de estabelecer uma Indicacao Geografica para a cultura de goiaba no mu... more Verificamos a viabilidade de estabelecer uma Indicacao Geografica para a cultura de goiaba no municipio de Dom Eliseu - PA como uma estrategia de desenvolvimento regional. Nosso estudo e exploratorio de abordagem quali-quantitativa. Aplicamos um questionario semi-estruturado com os produtores de goiaba. Nossos resultados detectaram caracteristicas favoraveis na cadeia produtiva da goiaba para um futuro registro de IG: a producao da cultura e notoria, tipica e reconhecida, possuindo conexao com a historia, tradicao e cultura locais. Observamos especificidades que impedem o trabalho imediato o pleito de IG, tais como, a falta de organizacao dos produtores, desestruturacao da cadeia produtiva da goiaba em Dom Eliseu/PA e a nao existencia de politicas publicas que estejam articulada com a cooperativa de produtores de goiaba.

The absence of biomarkers hinders the early diagnosis of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders ... more The absence of biomarkers hinders the early diagnosis of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) applied in routine examinations in newborns, for example. At moments, post-birth years, difficulties in social interaction and other emerging factors are used for the evaluation of children with ASD. We have reported numerical results that analyze the social interaction and the repetitive behavior of children with and without ASD. To represent the interaction, by analogy, we used two sets of random walkers. These sets are labeled in two ways, a group, e.g., the first set of random walkers represents children with autism, characterized by persistent and change-resistant microscopic dynamics. In response to the needs of including students in the teaching-learning process, we reported our ... more In response to the needs of including students in the teaching-learning process, we reported our results with Ciência Fácil software. The Ciência Fácil program is a product resulting from work in the classroom to include students with vision pathologies, specifically visual pathology classified as low vision. This software is a technological answer, adapted for cell phones, proposed to assist students in the teaching-learning process of Physics content. Newton's laws comprise the Physics content used in the experiments carried out with our application. The experiments were carried out in the form of questions. Given the answers, we performed the statistical analysis of the results. Before the use of Ciência Fácil, the students presented partial or none knowledge about Newton's Laws. According to experimentation, the use of software helped students in the teaching-learning process. We concluded that the Ciência Fácil application can contribute to the learning of students with low vision.

We used the Ising model. We reported numerical results for a two-dimensional magnetic network in a thermal bath. We calculated the probabilities of transition between states using-statistics, the Metropolis dynamics for stochastic processes of the finite-sized magnetic network, considering that the system interacts with a thermal reservoir. We investigated the behavior of various thermodynamic properties. We observed typical measurements of magnetization, energy and specific heat. Increasing the parameter reduces the critical temperature. We observed by the measurements of the fourth order Binder cumulative of magnetization, that for different network sizes and different values of the parameter , the system transition temperature magnetic decreases as κ increases.

Este produto educacional foi confeccionado de maneira que pudesse tornar o ensino de Física mais atrativo, dinâmico e interativo, buscou-se promover um processo de aprendizado inovador sobre Exoplanetas. Realizamos a pesquisa aplicando o jogo, enquanto produto educativo, em uma amostra de 66 educandos da escola Profª. Salomé Carvalho (alunos do 9º ano - Ensino Fundamental), pertencentes a rede pública municipal de Marabá-PA. In this work, an information booklet on the topic of Stellar Evolution was prepared, based on a b... more In this work, an information booklet on the topic of Stellar Evolution was prepared, based on a bibliographic review of the literature in the field, aiming to create subsidies for the development of this science at different levels of knowledge. The booklet, which is intended to be used by teachers and students of Basic Education, was designed as a way of contributing to the shortage of teaching materials in this field. Here, it is presented the main scientific concepts worked on the booklet to support teachers and students, as well as comments on the experience with the presentations of lectures and workshops based on the booklet, in educational environments, in the Brazilian city of Marabá, in the state of Pará, as a way of disseminating and encouraging Astronomy in the region. Guiados por aspectos conceituais da Teoria da Aprendizagem de Vygotsky, construímos um jogo didát... more Guiados por aspectos conceituais da Teoria da Aprendizagem de Vygotsky, construímos um jogo didático do tipo tabuleiro de mesa para analisar o processo de ensino e aprendizagem concernente ao estudo de exoplanetas. Este produto educacional foi confeccionado de maneira que pudesse tornar o ensino de Física mais atrativo, dinâmico e interativo, buscou-se promover um processo de aprendizado inovador sobre Exoplanetas. Realizamos a pesquisa aplicando o jogo, enquanto produto educativo, em uma amostra de 66 educandos da escola Profª. Salomé Carvalho (alunos do 9º ano - Ensino Fundamental), pertencentes a rede pública municipal de Marabá-PA. Em linhas gerais, destacamos o trabalho desenvolvido com conhecimentos prévios apresentados pelos estudantes sobre planetas, bem como discussão e apresentação de forma lúdica, dinâmica e interativa de novos conhecimentos sobre planetas extrassolares, suas características e métodos de detecção. In this work, an information booklet on the topic of Stellar Evolution was prepared, based on a b... more In this work, an information booklet on the topic of Stellar Evolution was prepared, based on a bibliographic review of the literature in the field, aiming to create subsidies for the development of this science at different levels of knowledge. The booklet, which is intended to be used by teachers and students of Basic Education, was designed as a way of contributing to the shortage of teaching materials in this field. Here, it is presented the main scientific concepts worked on the booklet to support teachers and students, as well as comments on the experience with the presentations of lectures and workshops based on the booklet, in educational environments, in the Brazilian city of Marabá, in the state of Pará, as a way of disseminating and encouraging Astronomy in the region.
