The identity of karawitan Jaipongan is a genre of today’s Sundanese karawitan which developes without any acculturation influence. Most verbal form of rumpaka on garap karawitan Jaipongan Jugala represents a dialogue or text that requires comprehension of the content. Tujuan penelitian ini menjelaskan pertunjukan Angklung Dogdog Lojor dalam siklus upacara Seren Ta... more Tujuan penelitian ini menjelaskan pertunjukan Angklung Dogdog Lojor dalam siklus upacara Seren Taun pada masyarakat Kasepuhan Ciptagelar, Kasatuan Adat Banten Kidul. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui pengamatan di lapangan dan wawancara mendalam. Berdasarkan penelitian disimpulkan bahwa pertunjukan Angklung Dogdog Lojor dalam upacara Seren Taun bukan semata-mata hanya sebagai seni pertunjukan dalam paradigma Barat atau kelengkapan ritual, akan tetapi merupakan salah satu media do’a dalam upacara ritual ngadiukeun pare sebagai upacara pokok dalam rangkaian upacara Seren Taun. Pertunjukan Angklung Dogdog Lojor merupakan ekspresi budaya masyarakat Kasepuhan Ciptagelar. Bagi para pemainnya, Ngangklung merupakan tugas pokok atau kewajiban sebagai anggota masyarakat adat. The title of this research is "Almadad Ing Banten Dance in Sanggar Rajawali, Pandeglang Regency" ... more The title of this research is "Almadad Ing Banten Dance in Sanggar Rajawali, Pandeglang Regency" which is a creative dance inspired by a traditional art or an instrument called Almadad, Almadad is Debus Art in Banten. This dance describes the process of the entry of Islam in Banten by using Almadad as a tool or medium for its dissemination. This study aims to understand and analyze the Almadad Ing Banten Dance which includes elements of dance composition such as choreographic structure, fashion makeup and properties as well as the meanings contained therein. Using the study of ethnocoreology as the main study in the research, the method used is descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, literature studies and documentation. The results showed that Dance Almadad Ing Banten there are 33 motion which is divided into 7 Locomotor motion, 12 Pure Movement motion and 15 Gesture motion. The make-up used is makeup corrective with Islamic clothing that has been created according to the concept of cultivation and the properties played are Almadad kecil, Almadad besar and Teras Lawang Gapura. Then the meaning of the dance is found in the property elements that are played, the make-up of the clothes used and the movements of asking for help so that they are given the strength to defend themselves because the meaning of Almadad is asking for help from Allah SWT.

This study of Boboko Logor dance aims to find out the relationship between Boboko and women, wher... more This study of Boboko Logor dance aims to find out the relationship between Boboko and women, where Boboko is a Sundanese local wisdom product commonly used by women from ancient times to wash rice, serve rice, or shop for food. Boboko certainly plays a more important role. A deeper meaning can be explored from the material, shape, color, and function. This study uses Ethnocoreology, Semiotic and theories in dissecting Boboko Logor's dancing, and gender theory in women's perspectives to reveal the symbols, meanings, functions, and roles of Boboko and her relationship with women. This study uses a descriptive method by analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating the results. The results of this study provide knowledge and understanding that Boboko and women have similarities, namely as a space for human survival. Keywords—components; boboko logor dances; boboko; woman

Considering that Bedhaya Rimbe dance has grown and developed for a long time and experienced a revitalization of its creation, this study aims to reveal the periodization and its creation as well as the classical cultural heritage of the Cirebon Kanoman Palace. So because of his beautiful face, slender body, and delicate appearance, Rama Sas became a court dancer specializing in female characters. Wbmen of the aristocrat concentrated on bedhaya and srimpi female dances. Due to the court restriction, women dthe aristocrat were not allowed to move and act fmdy like men. The research method used experimental. The research sample of students of the Sagara dance studio, Sukabumi city. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using nonparametric statistics. Mochi mask is a type of dance that develops in the city of Sukabumi. This dance is inspired by the culinary culture of the city of Sukabumi, namely Mochi. Sanggar Sagara is one that provides material for Mochi Mask dance using the Mind Mapping method. This method is a treatment to improve the ability to understand culture. The results showed an increase in the ability to understand culture. This is indicated by the average pretest results of 66.00. and the post test results of 87.50. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the mind mapping method can improve the ability to understand culture.
