The aerospace industry has gone tremendous transformation in the last 10-15 years in terms of usi... more The aerospace industry has gone tremendous transformation in the last 10-15 years in terms of using composites for structural integrity. This branch of applying composite technology has rapidly increased, changing the way in which modern aircrafts are being developed. Recently developed advanced composites are more resistant to fatigue when compared to metals in aerospace applications such as for taking off as well as landing, hence there is less maintenance cost throughout the life-cycle of the aircraft and thus the cost of operating the aircraft decreases significantly.
