It is a personality disorder related to the constant aspiration for power, superiority over others, and a lack of empathy with others and their exploitation to achieve personal ends. Narcissists often seek leadership and work for their interests, and these behaviors affect workers' lower levels of performance, creativity, and productivity. This, in turn, leads to higher levels of burnout, job turnover, and other organizational diseases because the traits of leaders and their actual behavior complement each other. Therefore, this research aims to study the relationship between narcissistic leadership with its dimensions (arrogance, authority) and workers' performance (organizational commitment, job satisfaction, creativity, productivity). The research sample was represented in Baghdad College of Economic Sciences University / Iraq, and the research sample amounted to (77) individuals. The research relied on the questionnaire as the main tool to collect data to conduct statistical analyses. As (87) questionnaires were distributed to the employees of the researched college, the number of retrieved questionnaires was (77) valid for analysis. The data was analyzed using (SPSS V.25) and (Amos V.25). Many statistical methods were used to achieve the research objectives, represented by (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, Pearson correlation coefficient, and simple linear regression). The most important findings of the research are the adverse effect of narcissistic leadership on workers' performance. The more there is narcissistic leadership in the college understudy, the more it negatively contributes to the performance levels of employees.

Providing high-quality services and reducing operating costs are accessible through proper planning of different sectors of HHC companies. This study presents a mathematical model integrated with real-life constraints to address a home health care routing and scheduling problem (HHCRSP). The planning takes into account temporal precedence and synchronization constraints and limited allowable times for transferring collected biological samples to the laboratory in the pickup and delivery environment. This problem is a new variant of the vehicle routing problem with time windows (VRPTW) with the aim of minimizing the cost related to the transportation and the idle time of caregivers by assigning proper caregivers with required qualifications to patients based on their disjunctive needs. Simulated annealing (SA) and tabu search (TS) are two meta-heuristics applied in two phases for each instance to schedule primary tasks in the first step, and then synchronized services in the next phase. The Solomon’s benchmark is used for generating comparative experiments.

They shed light on Home (Health)-Care services aspects related to the vehicle routing problems (VRP). Very large number of VRP variants are with many similarities, but differ in structure. In this paper, a new variant of vehicle routing problems with new type of temporal constraints is presented, a new set of instances is generated and the numerical results are obtained with Cplex.

This research concerns an allocation problem in the context of the physical internet aimed at improving rail-road π-hub efficiency by optimizing the distance travelled by each container to the dock, as well as the number of trucks used. To achieve this, heuristic, metaheuristic and Multi-agent-based approaches are proposed. When given the sequence of all the containers in the train, the proposed heuristic approach can assign these containers to outbound doors. Then, the Simulating Annealing (SA) method improves this allocation by minimizing the distance travelled. In addition, a multi-agent system model is proposed to generate reactive solutions which take dynamic aspects into account.The experimental results show that the proposed SA yields an improvement of about 2.42-7.67% in relation to the solution generated by the heuristic; it provides good results within a reasonable time. Conversely, the multi-agent-based approach provides good solutions in case of perturbations or unexpected events.

Traditional public transportation has shown its limitations to satisfy the changes in growing cities and particularly unable to adapt to particular events or particular people such as transportation of unable or elderly people that concerns significantly user's transportation. Moreover, the door-to-door transportation is sometimes too expensive. For that, this paper considers the Integrated Dial-A-Ride Problem (IDARP) which is a special case of the Dial-A-Ride Problem (DARP). It deals with the scheduling of vehicles to insure the transportation of the passengers, with the integration of the fixed route service to the DARP. We have proposed a new formulation for the Integrated Dial-A-Ride Problem with timetabled fixed route service (IDARP-TT) with the objective of minimizing the combined operational costs and the waiting time.

This research aims to find the “best” allocation of containers in a rail-road PI hub where a set of containers must be transferred from railcars to outgoing trucks using the sorters. The main goal is to minimize the used number of trucks. To achieve this, heuristic approach in static and dynamic case is proposed. Then results are compared to the upper bound and the FIFO method. The experimental results show that the proposed heuristic gives better results compared to the solution generated by FIFO;

In this context, one should take into consideration sustainability factors, such as minimization of carbon emission, treatment of reverse flows, optimization of energy consumption; etc., simultaneously with the product’s life cycle design and management of the supply chains.

This decision is surrounded by complex flows of returned products, due to the increasing quantity, the type of returned products and the variety of recovery option products (reuse, recycling, and refurbishment). The most important problem in the reverse logistic network (RLN) is to orient returned products to the suitable type of recovery option. However, returned products orientations from collect sources to the recovery disposition have not well considered in performance model. In this study, we propose a performance model for designing a network configuration on reverse logistics. Conceptual and analytical models are developed with taking into account operational, economic and environmental factors on designing network.

This method is enhanced by the standard deviation metric and obtains a minimal tour in fuzzy environment where all parameters are octagonal fuzzy numbers. Fuzzy numbers are converted into a crisp number thanks to the ranking function α-Cut. The proposed approach in details is discussed and illustrated by a numerical example. This method helps in designing successfully the tour to a salesman on navigation through the distance matrix so that it minimizes the total fuzzy distance.
