Formally, language is seen as the pairing of a lexicon and a set of syntactic rules, where it is systematically governed at the level of sounds, words, and sentences.

The present study attempts to find the relationship between assistive technology and cognitive, p... more The present study attempts to find the relationship between assistive technology and cognitive, psychomotor and social performance of students with Intellectual Disability. Assistive Technology Scale, Cognitive Performance Scale, Psychomotor Performance scale and social performance scale developed by the researcher were used to collect data. 200 Samples were drawn from special educators working at an intellectual disability school in Bangalore District. The statistical analysis was done by computing Pearson's Product Moment Coefficient of Correlation. The study showed a significant relationship between assistive technology and cognitive, psychomotor and social performance of students with intellectual disability.

National integration assessment scale and ten value oriented activities, namely, discussion role play, drama, community singing, national anthem, model making, cultural activity dance and costume representation, were administered over 164 boys and girls, divided on strength of four matching criteria ; namely, mental ability SBS, social maturity, academic achievement into experimental and control groups. The results yielded significant enhancement in value-oriented activities as well as national integration of experimental group over the control group

Low achievement largely because of low conceptual clarity and understanding in the subjects/themes tested. A further stress is given to identify the content area and skills requiring attention and to develop appropriate strategies to enable students to understand the concepts. Teachers training (pre-service and in-service) programmes might be redesigned on the basis of NAS findings to improve pedagogical aspects, and also Teacher education. The IX standard students from a private school of Bengaluru Metro City considered as population. A sample of IX standard students has been utilized as subjects to teach biological concepts by using traditional method of teaching as well as Mobile Learning Technology as a method of teaching. Randomized matching Control group Pre-test Post-Test group design was used. Totally 56 subjects were selected and they are divided into two groups, namely experimental (Teaching with Mobile Learning Technology) and controlled (traditional method of teaching) groups to give treatment after administering pre test to them. Simple random sampling technique was used for the study. Collaborative Skills Scale (CSS) was a 48 item scale in six dimensions that has been developed to measure the students’ collaborative skills.
