Eliot, the poem that marks the beginning of modernism in literature and still remains one of the most influential and discussed poems of the XXth century. In this poem, Eliot examines the fundamental values of human existence. In the example of the generation of-lost souls‖, he describes the disintegration of life and moral standards, as well as strives to find a way for reconciliation with existential problems by examining the existent reality so as to make subsequent reintegration in order to continue life. Religious revelations are seen as the eternal wisdom that has never been hidden from man of any cultural tradition, and the point from which spiritual revival may start. Consequently, the method of comparative mythology was applied to the analysis of the content of the poem. A century after its publication, the poem has not lost its significance due to the depth of its penetration into the nature of human vices that corrupt human existence and the philosophical problems they engender. Unlike most previous studies that accentuated the motifs of despair, distress, and loss of hope as the main motifs of the poem, the paper stresses Eliot's search for ways out of the existing crisis, which represents the novelty of the paper, as well as its social implications.

As the primary readers of scientific writing are other scientists to whom the information is transmitted, redundant details, definitions, and explanations are usually omitted, as well as descriptions of general-knowledge concepts, or how routine procedures are carried out. The style of scientific writing is concise and precise as the aim is to communicate scientific information. As science is based on previous work, corrects itself, and develops, scientific writing references other publications and is set within the context of already published papers in a definite field of science. This context provides a motivation for proposing a new work, writing a paper, gives grounds for new findings and interpretations, and serves the evidence of the authors' knowledge and expertise in the field of science. The most common structure of a journal article, as well as any format scientific writing usually follows a standard formal structure, frequently abbreviated as IMRD (Introduction-Methods-Results-Discussion) (C.R. Miller 2013) frequently followed by conclusions. Journal articles also include such structural elements as a title, abstract, acknowledgements, and references. An introduction states the question or problem to be resolved or studied, provides the background information, i.e. the context of the problem, the reason for the research, proposes the way of its solution, relates the problem to a theory, and explains how and why the research is important. The organization of ideas is crucial for best understanding of information, hence, organization within sections or paragraphs happens according to the order in which ideas are presented. This organization of information in each part is shown by definite headings. The main mode of presenting ideas is argumentation, which reflects a logical flow of thought. As introduction usually states the problem the

The theme of a double has been widely used in literature by numerous authors with different interpretation that indicates an archetype which finds different manifestation in different cases. The theme is often associated with the quest of a self for origins, identity and unity. Such spheres compose the realm of human soul and relate to those fundamental notions of psychology, which K.G.Young named archetypes. An archetype indicates former images, ancient infinity of images, the ancient means of the Universe. The deeper layers of soul lose their individual non-repeatability, in proportion to the degree to which they increasingly further and further step back into the gloom. Descending increasingly below and approaching a level of the autonomously functioning systems, they acquire even more collective and more universal nature, until they fade in the material substances. Consequently, on the bottom itself "soul" is simply the Universe 1. It is in the inner sense, standing behind these archetypes (images of archetype) that we should search for the source of the archetypes of human behavior and the source of subjects in fiction, describing this behavior. It seems natural to look for the source of the archetype of the double in the myths about twins, as the main source of archetypes are myths that preserve and transfer paradigms-images in the imitation of which the entire totality of actions, for which man takes responsibility upon himself, are achieved 2 .

The fire, obtained by him for man, is identified with reason itself. At the same time this image carries the duality of benefactor and criminal, since creation of something new and advanced leads to mutiny against reality itself and rejection of its laws. Nevertheless, through this myth Western civilization has been trying to understand itself in its cultural self-consciousness.
