The importance of the problem of forming and managing Ukrainian brands (trademarks) is determined... more The importance of the problem of forming and managing Ukrainian brands (trademarks) is determined by the fact that well-known brands become an important condition for a company's stable position on the market, and one of the key factors is its profitability and competitiveness. The world experience was considered and analyzed, which shows that at the current stage of development of competitive markets, brands are fighting for a place in the minds of buyers. The theoretical aspects of the justification of the brand and brand management were studied, and a holistic definition of the concept of "brand" was formed. In the article, the tools of brand management and its system are formed, agreed, and characterized. The sequence of use and formation of the brand, its stages are highlighted. В статье рассмотрена сущность понятия культуры и определено, что культура имеет четыре уровня: 1)... more В статье рассмотрена сущность понятия культуры и определено, что культура имеет четыре уровня: 1) национальная культура, 2) деловая культура; 3) корпоративная культура; 4) профессиональная культура. Рассмотрена и проанализирована классификация деловой культуры Г. Хофстеде, а именно, что деловые культуры разных стран можно классифицировать по следующим параметрам: 1) соотношение индивидуализма и коллективизма, 2) дистанция власти, 3) соотношение мужественности и женственности в действиях, 4) отношение к неопределенности. Определено место украинской деловой культуры в этой классификации и предложены соответствующие рекомендации.

Gen Z representatives from one Western and one Eastern European country were the subjects of an e... more Gen Z representatives from one Western and one Eastern European country were the subjects of an empirical study investigating leadership style preferences and effects of motivation and performance on leader preferences. Data from 131 Ukrainian and 157 Austrian Gen Z representatives were analyzed. Different dimensions of leadership were examined, including transactional/transformational leadership and production/employee/change orientation of leaders. The results show significant differences in expectations between cultures, and within different leadership styles. Generation Z representatives from collectivist cultures with high power distance, long-term orientation, and high uncertainty avoidance have higher expectations of their future leaders than those from individualistic countries with lower power distance, less long-term orientation, and low uncertainty avoidance. Стаття присвячена дослідженню культурних особливостей монгольського стилю лідерства, який значно ... more Стаття присвячена дослідженню культурних особливостей монгольського стилю лідерства, який значно відрізняється від інших стилів лідерства, які традиційно відносять до азіатського типу. Для Монголії це тема особливо актуальна, оскільки зростаюча увага до Монголії як до потенційного ринку з боку інших країн вимагає від монгольських компаній пошуку нових шляхів ефективного управління та вдосконалення лідерських якостей менеджерів. В Монголії, ще досі переважають авторитарні моделі і прийоми керівництва, хоча і відбувається досить швидкий перехід до більш демократичних методів. Існують одночасно цінності традиційного, індустріального та постіндустріального суспільства. Патерналізм є невід'ємною якістю монгола. Основними рисами сучасного монгольського лідера є яркий індивідуалізм; високий ступень неприйняття невизначеності; потреба в постійному кураторстві та постійний конформізм.

These national value systems together with the age factor are the drivers of behavior and attitudes, and very important layer of culture that is defined in cross-cultural management. The methodology of the survey is based on researching and analyzing relevant literature mainly from foreign as well as domestic sources which are focused on the cross-cultural management and the generation theory. Staff efficiency has decreased, so companies have experienced a decline in business productivity in general. The system of labor incentives should encourage staff to work more efficiently by introduction of an additional remuneration system based on performance-related payment system. According to the European knowledge, commerce is one of the sectors where the introduction of this additional remuneration system is common and effective. The purpose of this study is to develop and substantiate practical recommendations to improve the system of additional remuneration for sales and service personnel of the company from Ukrainian commerce sector, which would increase their efficiency in the company.
