In this study, the octane number of gasoline was improved by using isobutanol isobutanol prepared... more In this study, the octane number of gasoline was improved by using isobutanol isobutanol prepared in the treatment of tire inner rubber with kerosene at different temperatures and in different quantities, and then treated with concentrated capranic acid and water. Then, the formed alcohol and water are separated from the acid kerosene using fractional distillation, where the water and alcohol are separated, leaving the acid and kerosene, and then the distilled liquid (isertoy mixture) is heated on a column containing sodium tetramer. And mixed by 1, 1.5, 3, and 5% with gasoline, where the octane number was raised. Cassiochromatographic octane number assays were performed.

Nickel sulphate was used as a source of nickel, while the method of Impregnation adopted as the basis for the preparation. The using Impregnation route consist two-stage, because it known that the preparation of catalysts with a high content of metal in one go is not possible. In the first stage the solution is fragmented into two parts and downloads each part separately. Then the Nickel content was measured in the solution by atomic absorption device as well as the comparison was made between the prepared catalyst and commercial catalytic by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray deflection (XRD).

Polymeric composites of liquid polyester as a base material were prepared and studied with iron f... more Polymeric composites of liquid polyester as a base material were prepared and studied with iron filings powder as a support material, in a ratio of (1:1), using the (TGA) and (IGA) techniques to study their thermal properties. The (TGA) values correspond to the weight ratio values at 330 °C (Wt%) and there is no agreement between the IGA values and the weight ratio values at 330 °C. There was a compatibility for the TGA values with the weight ratio values at 330 °C (Wt%) and there was no agreement between the IGA values with the weight ratio values at 330 °C, i.e. the isothermal gravimetric analysis (IGA) could not be considered a good measure of thermal stability. The values of the weight ratio at 330 °C (330 Wt%), the (TGA) values and the isothermal gravimetric analysis (IGA) values were found to be close to all networks treated at temperatures (23,53,83,123,153). In this study a type of polymeric composites from melting poly Unsaturated polyester as a basic s... more In this study a type of polymeric composites from melting poly Unsaturated polyester as a basic substance with powdered sawdust was prepared, studying some of it is mechanical properties, which was included: Impact Strength (I.), Yong modulus (E), hardness (B.) and compression Strength (C.). Polymeric composites before and after reinforcing were studied by comparison between them. It was noticed increasing resistance of Yong modulus (E), Impact Strength (I.), hardness (B.) and compression Strength (C.). Also, It is studied the effect of some acids like (, H2SO4, HNO3) with concentrations (0.5 N; 1N and 1.5N) respectively. Some physical properties were studied as absorbance and poly 's diffusion coefficient before and after reinforcing. The results showed increases in values of these properties with increasing concentration of acid and time of polymer's immersion in the acidic solution.
