Ownership of the christian holy sites in Jerusalem has been hotly contested by the various religi... more Ownership of the christian holy sites in Jerusalem has been hotly contested by the various religious communities established there. The problem has been exacerbated by the change of hands on the holy land and the attempt by these powers to manipulate the case for their own advantages. A study of cases like the one this book tries to deal with could give one a clear understanding of the challenges awaiting the authorities responsible for dealing with them. Religious communities having stakes in the holy places, academicians ,and others who want to know about the centuries old history of the only black christian community established in the holy land and its struggle to hold on to its prized assets will find this book very indispensable.
