Thus, it appears from what precedes that the approaches employed in the previous works concerning the system H 3 PO 4 H 2 O at 298.15 K and at 324.15 K in the case of the Christensen and Thomsen work, are unable to describe its thermodynamic properties neither for ...

The obtained data were modelled using the Pitzer equation for the aqueous phase and the Sergievskii-Dannus relationship for the organic phase. A fairly good agreement was observed between the model and the experimental data. (K. Ziat). the following species: TBP, TBP-H 2 O, H 3 PO 4 -TBP and (TBP) 2 -H 3 PO 4 -H 2 O. This system was studied using the Sergievskii-Dannus and Pitzer's equations to describe the extraction system H 3 PO 4 -H 2 O-TBP.

The activity coefficient of phosphoric acid was calculated from experimental data using Pitzer's equation, and those of the components in the organic phase were calculated by Sergievskii-Danus's relationship. The proposed model gives a satisfactory description of the distribution of phosphoric acid and water, in the considered concentration range, by taking into account the formation of the following species: TBP, TBP·H 2 O, H 3 PO 4 ·TBP and (TBP) 2 ·H 3 PO 4 ·H 2 O.

The experiments were performed with a simple system of H2O-NaCl and with samples of sea water from Rabat. The pilot crystallizer consists in a tube cooled bymeans of a thermostatic bath. The tube is immerged in a cylindrical double jacketed tank cooled by means of

Sweating is an efficient method by which ice layer is purified under the effect of temperature gradient. The main kinetic parameters influencing sweating of ice are initial concentration of ice, sweating temperature and sweating time. In the present work, the
