We derive from first principles the equi- librium spacing of atoms in a thin aluminum rod of length L, incorporating quantum mechanical effects such as zero-point energy and electromagnetic phenomena, including radiative damping and radiation reaction forces. We formulate the equations of motion using both the Abraham-Lorentz force and the Landau-Lifshitz approximation to account for radiation reaction. By minimizing the total energy, we find that increased radiative damping leads to changes in the angular frequency of atomic vibrations and a reduction in the rod’s length. Remarkably, these changes are observationally indistinguishable from the effects of gravitational time dilation and length contraction predicted by general relativity. This engineering model puts gravity in the hands of engineers, potentially advancing artificial gravity and anti-gravity technologies from pure speculation to achievable endeavors.

Moreover, recognizing the wave-particle duality of the Photon, the root-mean-square (RMS) charge radii of a free Photon and Graviton is derived to high computational precision. In addition, the RMS charge diameters of a Photon and Graviton are shown to be in agreement with generalized Quantum Gravity (QG) models, implicitly supporting the limiting definition of the Planck length.

The derived value is "<5.75 x 10-17 (eV)" and is within 4.3(%) of the Eidelman et. al. value endorsed by the Particle Data Group (PDG) "< 6 x 10-17 (eV)". The PDG value is an adjustment of theoretical predictions to fit physical observation. The derivation presented herein is without adjustment and may represent physical evidence of the existence of Euler's Constant in nature at the quantum level.

Buckingham's Π theory (BPT) is applied to establish a mathematical relationship that precipitates a set of modeling equations, pi (Π) groupings. The Π groupings are reduced to a single expression in terms of the speed of light and an experimental relationship function. This function is interpreted to represent the refractive index and is demonstrated to be equivalent to the polarizable vacuum (PV) model representation of general relativity. Assuming dynamic, kinematic, and geometric similarity between the PV and the BPT derivation, it is implied that the PV may also be represented as a superposition of EM fields. It is conjectured that by applying an intense superposition of fields within a single frequency mode, it may be possible to modify the refractive index at that frequency within the test volume of an experiment. This may significantly reduce the experimental complexity and energy requirements necessary to locally affect g.

It is shown that an accelerated reference frame may be derived from a superposition of applied electromagnetic (EM) fields and may be characterized by the magnitude of the Poynting vectors. Based on dimensional similarity and the equivalence principle, the engineered acceleration may be used to modify the gravitational acceleration g at the surface of Earth. An engineered change in the value of the refractive index corresponds to an incremental change in the gravitational potential energy. The magnitude of this change and the similarity between an experimental prototype (EP) and the local gravitational environment may then be characterized by a critical ratio KR such that the gravitational acceleration is reduced to zero within a bench‐top test volume, when KR = 1. An engineered refractive index equation is derived that may be used for EM metric engineering purposes. A hypothetical “engineered” polarizable vacuum metric line element is then presented as an example.

Event horizons form on the leading and trailing walls of the bubble. It is demonstrated herein that these phenomena mathematically arise from the application of shift-only space-time solutions; derived retrospectively from the geometrical interpretation of General Relativity. Moreover, it shall be demonstrated that these phenomena do not manifest in a properly formulated Polarizable Vacuum warp drive solution, IFF the refractive index within the space-time bubble is precisely controlled. This formalism is consistent within the analog gravity framework of the Polarizable Vacuum Model, [1-6] representing a variable speed of light interpretation of General Relativity.

It is shown that variations in the relative power are covariant with variations in the coordinate speed of light as measured by distant observers in unaltered space-time. Gravitational time dilation and length contraction may then be interpreted as a loss of power in the ZPF. It is shown that an amplification of the ZPF is necessary to drive inflation and achieve faster than light speeds. This principle of matter and power is utilized to show the form of matter required, may be interpreted as a reduced ground state equilibrium energy density of ordinary matter. Associated with an increased ground state energy and volume, caused by the increased power of the ZPF. This property is utilized to derive a new type of electromagnetic warp drive that can eliminate the effects of time dilation and length contraction that occur in accelerated reference frames. In this paper it is shown that a warp field may be achieved by putting real energy into the ZPF, rather than extracting energy from it and thus represents a paradigm shift in warp drive technology.

It is demonstrated that these equations may be used to obtain solutions and equations of motion for the metric component functions, identical to General Relativity (GR). The equations of motion in this Revised PV Model are easier to solve than the equations of GR as they do not require Tensor mathematics or geometrical interpretations to be understood.

This places the derived value of the proton radius to within 0.38(%) of the average Simon and Hand predictions [0.8335(fm)], arguably the two most precise and widely cited references since the 1960s. Most importantly, the SELEX Collaboration has experimentally verified the proton radius prediction derived herein to extremely high precision as being [SQRT 0.69(fm^2) = 0.8307(fm)]. The derived value of electron radius compares favorably to results obtained in high-energy scattering experiments [0.01(fm)] as reported by Milonni et al. It is also illustrated that a change in electron mass of =+0.04(%) accompanies the high-energy scattering measurements. This suggests that the electron radius depends on the manner in which it is measured and the energy absorbed by the electron during the measuring process. The fine structure constant is also derived, to within 0.026(%) of its National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) value, utilizing the electron and proton radii construct herein. In addition, it is also illustrated that the terminating gravitational spectral frequency for each particle, as described previously by Storti et al., may be expressed simply in terms of Compton frequencies.
ENGINEERING A WARP DRIVE USING QUANTUM GRAVITY AND A NEW INTERPRETATION OF GENERAL RELATIVITY – AN ENGINEERING MODEL, 2023

It is shown that variations in the relative power are covariant with variations in the coordinate speed of light as measured by a distant observer, outside the gravitational field. Gravitational time dilation and length contraction may then be interpreted as a loss of power from the interaction between matter and the zero-point field. It is hypothesized that the loss of power is due to increased radiative damping within matter due to Larmor radiation. The relative radiative damping factor affects the relative ground state energy of the quantum mechanical harmonic oscillator such that, the mean-square fluctuations of matter reproduce the behavior attributed to and resulting from the space-time metric of General Relativity. From this principle, the phenomena observed by a distant observer that are due to gravity may be reproduced from the variable relative damping factor acting on the quantum harmonic oscillator. Utilizing the techniques of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance to stimulate Larmor radiation, experiments may be conducted that may pave the way for the creation of breakthrough technologies, such as Artificial gravity, Antigravity and Warp Drive.
