These systems collect information from the users, process it and provide it to those who are interested in them. By filtering the information from hyperspace and presenting these in some sorted format, navigation becomes controlled. This paper presents a recommender system which is implemented in the E-student web-based educational hypermedia system used at Subotica Tech. The presented system has two goals. Firstly, to help students in the learning process by suggesting effective learning paths. Secondly, it aims to provide feedback about the students' satisfaction regarding the structure of the e-learning system, the e-learning content, the quality of examples, and further aspects. Based on the given feedback, the e-learning system and curricula developers can build a system which is easy to use and ensures more effective knowledge transfer.

They prove to be very effective on the hard-to-reach Mediterranean karsts landscape, characterized by low but not too dense vegetation. After mapping some terrain segment and collecting a large number of precise and detailed footage from above, images are visually scanned and examined by search rescue member/s. In this paper we will examine the effectiveness of visual search of human observers for the purpose of finding missing/lost persons on aerial imagery.

However, there is a lack of systematic and methodological basis for a strategy of institutionalised application of the interactive learning of informatics. This paper therefore proposes guidelines for the transformation of this important element within the integral strategy of the educational system in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The aim of the conducted research is the analysis of the present situation in the application of information science literacy in higher grades of primary schools, as well as the analysis of computer networks' role in providing the interactive learning of informatics, used as an existing basis in all counties (cantons). The research has been conducted across Bosnia and Herzegovina and it included 4,253 pupils from 180 different primary school grades (from 5th to 9th grade). The practical segment of the research was based on surveying-teachers and students were interviewed in order to collect relevant information. The analytical segment of the research was based on descriptive statistical analysis. In order to transform the collected information into knowledge, Data Mining method was used, a process of the application of computer based technology, including new knowledge discovery techniques. The proposed research hypothesis, which has been partly expected, has thus been confirmed in an exact way. Within the framework of teaching informatics, it has been confirmed that the number of pupils in one grade whose learning is aided by the Internet, e-mail, WEB and computers influences the number of students who support the introduction of UND. Finally, we can conclude that the implementation of interactive learning strategy in the computer networks will provide faster dissemination of scientific achievements in the area of ICT application within the educational system.

Here we researched and described the aims and objectives of the main process in education and technology, with main matrix classes of data. In this paper, we have example of matrix technology with detailed description of processes related to specific data classes in the processes of education and an example module that is support for the process: 'Filling in the directory and the diary of work' and 'evaluation'. Also, on the lower level of the processes, we researched and described all activities which take place within the lower process in education. We researched and described the characteristics and functioning of modules: 'Fill the directory and the diary of work' and 'evaluation'. For the analysis of the affinity between th...

Whether one signs a contract, work documents, petition, or wants to approve a check payment, one will use personal signature to do all those things. In this paper we use this daily based biometric characteristic for identification and classification of students' papers and various exam documents used at University of Mostar. In this paper we used OpenCV library as an image processing tool for feature extraction. As regards to classification method, we used Support Vector Machine.

Various researchers dedicated a lot of attention trying to fi nd the best way to measure the success or the effectiveness of ERP solution. "Customer satisfaction" as a measure represents the crucial point in creating the model for Measuring the success of implemented ERP systems and therefore it is the subject of this work. In this work we shall see what effect the other measurements will have on the "customer satisfaction", respecting the co rrelation between particular crucial categories in creating the model of implemented ERP system's success.

Particular emphasis is on the automation of the detection for supporting search and rescue missions. This challenging task is characterized by two important requirements. The first requirement for proposed algorithm is real-time speed of execution and the other is exceptional detection quality on complex natural environment images. Evaluation is performed on high spatial resolution images with high level of details that were collected by UAV platforms. Evaluated method based on FasterRCNN detection model showed promising preliminary results, as well as fast processing of high resolution images. Overall, detection model achieved 88.3% recall with precision of 67.3%.

Nowadays, education has become more complex due to the enormous social change and a new view in the field of pedagogy. We live in the age of information and communication technology (ICT), and we cannot allow to ignore it in the education business management. The use of ICTs has great potential in teachers' preparation to deal with various challenges and responsibilities they have to fulfill in their educational environment. Thanks to fast-growing development of ICT in past decades, the topic of ICT integration in education is being intensively discussed at different levels. Considering this, teachers' ICT competences should play an important role, but the approach to ICT competences assessment-in general as in cases of teachers' profession-rarely exists. The presented article focuses on teachers' experiences, implementation and adaptations of ICT in higher educations. The research was conducted on the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Mostar where it was determined the frequency of ICT use and the subjective evaluation of teachers' ICT understanding and their level of ICT literacy. Descriptive parameters of test variables as well as frequencies and percentages are demonstrated in the statistical data analysis.
