All health personnel are expected to have proper knowledge, practice and capacity to guide others for waste collection and management and proper handling techniques. This study was conducted with the aim to assess knowledge, attitude and practices among 1st year post graduate residents in a tertiary care hospital of Lucknow.Methods: It was a hospital based cross-sectional study carried out in March 2017 on 1st year Junior Residents of King George’s medical University, Lucknow.
