Because of the meeting of the this demand from fossil fuel plants, global warming resulting from increased greenhouse gas emissions have disrupted the ecological balance of the planet. This requirement was met from fossil fuel based energy production plants. Greenhouse gases caused by the burning of fossil fuels, global warming has created. Disrupt the ecological balance of the planet is global warming. However, it is a fact the usage of alternative and renewable sources are getting more important. In addition to this, solar systems is creating an alternative method of energy production which is clean and environmental friendly.
The sun as a source of renewable energy, applications to meet energy needs is increasing with each passing day. Solar energy systems have some disadvantages according to fossil fuel based energy production systems. The energy output per unit area is the most important one for among these disadvantages. Especially the roof-top solar energy systems are gaining importance in the area needs. One of other disadvantages of solar energy applications is high cost of the unit. However the unit cost was reduced to the same level fossil fuel sources power plants through R & D support in the last 10 years. Nevertheless solar power systems are disadvantaged against fossil fuel plants because of the low yield per area remain. Photovoltaic panels can produce energy with the sunrays. Photovoltaic systems need to work direct sunray that's way they should be located on the suitable place and angle. Even if it is suitable the selected location, angle of incidence of sunlight varies during the day and in different seasons. So, photovoltaic system which is fixed can’t receive the most efficient sunray from the Sun every time. Therefore, solar panels are fixed in position at which to work efficiency.
Tracking solar systems are orientate panels to best angle to receive the most efficient sunray. Thereby with panels which can receive the most efficient sunray every moment and more energy can be produced. With the aid of tracking systems which can sustain more energy, the disadvantage of per unit area is prevented. That’s why, the disadvantages of per unit area regarding efficiency problems can be solved with the usage of tracking panels. But as these tracking systems have more components it is more expensive compared to the stable photovoltaic systems. However tracking systems produce much more energy and sustains a cost effective solution. Through this study our goal is to make suggestion about the feasibility of photovoltaic to tracking structures.

Sustainability simply means to do the most work with fewer resources. Green building concept has emerged by the demand of producing buildings which consume less energy and produce its own energy when necessary and damaging the environment less. In addition to this, various green building certification systems in different countries have been started to be used.
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification system has emerged in the United States but is widely used in all countries. LEED certification scoring tool is consisting of 7 main headings. Among these Sustainable Site Planning takes an important place by 26 points out of 110. In housing production, quality and livable interior design has gained importance by the increase of population.
In this manifest, the public housing site plans’ effects on scoring, will be examined in LEED certification systems.

and environmental criteria is used to describe the classical approach to planning in the determination
of provincial and regional boundaries in Turkey. Whilst socioeconomic data and
administrative organizations are evaluated in the first place in determining such boundaries,
geographical-physical and environmental limitations are evaluated in the second place, or
are not considered at all.
Because natural areas that have emerged under the control of natural conditions, socioeconomic
areas that have occurred functionally subject to human activity (functional
areas) and geographical areas that have been defined through a synthesis of the first two
differ in terms of scope and characteristics, they are also examined and evaluated differently
when it comes to planning. It is hard to carry out planning according to geographical
areas due to the inconsistency between civil administration areas (provinces, counties) and
geographical areas whose boundaries are disputed and for which healthy statistical data do
not exist.

Urbanization and Its Impact on Socio Economic Growth in Developing Regions, 2017

Especially land use conflicts resulting in such phenomena are characterized by pressures on the environment caused by ever-increasing anthropogenic factors subject to unplanned settlement, notably in heavily populated metropolitan areas. Despite the fact that Turkey is one of the countries, which this conflict intensively occurred. Studies on compliance of land use in Turkey with the zoning plans mainly consider socioeconomic indicators. This, in return, raises concerns over applicability and the rationality of the plans created. Three main indicators: environmental indicators, social indicators and economic indicators were selected and then estimated to retrieve the relative weights of the indicators was determined using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) pairwise comparison method. Weighted linear combination (WLC) was carried out in the study.

environmental degradation and support the sustainable use of natural resources. Sustainable urban development
policies, the most important pillar of socio-economic development, have not been produced and/
or integrated to the urban planning system in Turkey. Suggesting that economic growth may be equaled
to wealth and welfare is only possible in environments where certain requirements are satisfied. These
requirements may be enumerated as not surpassing the natural renovation capacity, minimizing pollution
risks, optimal protection and preservation of non-renewable resources, use of natural resources according
to protection-utilization principles. This chapter firstly addresses planning tradition in conceptual
background, and analyses relationship of this convention with urban development. Secondly and final
phase it addresses the ecological influences created by the urban development shaped by urban planning
tradition on the environment, and presents suggestions for solution.
