Ethnicity has been not only the source of diversity but also social and political tensions across... more Ethnicity has been not only the source of diversity but also social and political tensions across the globe. The socio-economic and political alienation and sense of deprivation trigger ethnonationalism that manifests itself into different forms and manifestations ranging from armed struggles to political movements. The failure to establish a vibrant and pluralist society with social and economic justice at its heart paves the way for ethnic strife that attracts different responses and reactions from the states faced with the ethnic conflict. Based on the qualitative research methods, this scholarly endeavor seeks to dissect the dynamics and drivers of ethnic-nationalism and how the countries like India, Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Switzerland, the Philippines and South Africa have tried to address the problem. The principal has a multidimensional role, which includes academic management, providing a suitab... more The principal has a multidimensional role, which includes academic management, providing a suitable environment for learning, maintaining proper institutional discipline and the implementation of the curriculum in their academic institutions. The aim of the study was to explore the role of principals in the implementation of the curriculum in the school. The nature of the study was descriptive in nature, having 77 secondary school principals constitutes the population of the study, of which 70 principals were taken as a sample of the study using standardized sample size determination techniques. The data was collected through a validated closed-ended questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale. The collected data were analyzed using chi-square statistics. The results reveal that the opportunities were provided to staff members for the development of skills and attitudes to support curriculum implementation, the curriculum materials were used to diagnose the potential barriers in the p...

This research aims at examining the role of bureaucratic leadership style on teachers' profes... more This research aims at examining the role of bureaucratic leadership style on teachers' professionalism in public sector universities and the difference between bureaucracy and professionalism, with a special reference to legal-rational authority. A validated self-structured closed-ended questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale was designed for data collection from a sample of 40 teachers of Public Sector Universities. An Ordinal Regression Analysis (ORA) was used to analyze the data. The findings of the study show no significant difference between the role of bureaucratic leadership and teachers' professionalism in university as they are interrelated, having a direct link of professionalism with individuals' approaches, behaviors and performance. The results also revealed that the Bureaucratic Leadership style is a more suitable style that enables individuals to work with more dedication and honesty.
