The study is aimed to assess the effects of squeezed roller pressure, dryer temperature, yarn count, machine speed (rpm) on cotton fabric weaving. Coarser and finer cotton yarn samples were prepared using sizing solution BENSIZE 850. Different size box temperature, yarn count, fabric construction, machine speed, squeeze roller pressure were considered to construct different weaving designs to study yarn breakages parameter. A warping plan was designed on TAROKO V5.4 (190325) software. The results established that size box lower temperature and higher machine speed provide the smallest amount yarn break during weaving for coarser cotton yarn and the highest for finer cotton yarn. Size box higher temperature and lower machine speed provide maximum yarn breakage during weaving coarser cotton yarn and minimum for fine yarn. Size penetration is uniform, which provides a higher strength of the yarn to less breakage. This aspect of the research suggested that higher yarn strength gives a lesser amount of breakage.

The industries involvement and explanation chains are expanding worldwide. The growth of apparel manufacturing remains in the Asian country and also, the non-Asian developing countries is growing their apparel business. The garment costing is detailing the cost of every item distinguishable to the production of a particular garment. The sum of these cost plus the profit margin is the selling price. The international apparel manufacturers are manufacturing their garments by using different techniques for costing. The research outlines methods and results to establish the incredibly essential system for making the procedure of costing and final cost sheet, although lots of manufacturers use software for costing. It also establishes the total system of making final cost sheet from fabric manufacturer to wholesaler and also to consumer. The research provides the clear idea about garment costing for the young learners, for academic development, future r...

So, to sustain with the other countries in the open market economy this RMG is facing too many challenges due to lack of industrial exposure in our economy and the sector cannot get adequate support from backward linkage industries. On that note most of the cases we need to depend on the external sources for the raw materials. The purpose of the study is to identify the current status of backward linkages of RMG sector in Bangladesh and also how we can improve the conditions of backward linkages compared to the demand. The research contains the condition of backward linkage industries in Bangladesh, the barriers of RMG sector, the findings and solutions of those barriers and last but not the least the opportunities of this growing industry. The research is focusing on how the backward linka...

But a major percentage of proceeds are decreased by the inadequate management of cost and time. The research is to reduce the non-valuated performance in cost and time consumption at cutting section. It focuses on the cutting section of apparel industry for simplification and elimination of non-valuated process of cutting. The apparel manufacturers, along with the closely associated activities of cutting section continue to be one of the driving forces of industrialization throughout the developing world. The research reflected that the industry has to minimize its cost and improve internal throughput time. It also facilitates to gain higher productivity and profitability with improved quality product by eliminating non valuated process. It also minimizes cost and improves internal throughput time. The concern with the following research started during a study of apparel industry in cutting sec...

The velocity of coflowing air was varied from subsonic velocity to a supersonic velocity of Mach 1.8. OH PLIF images and Schlieren images were used for analysis. Flame regimes were used to classify the characteristic flame modes according to the variation of the fuel-air velocity ratio, into jet-like flame, central-jet-dominated flame, and recirculation zone flame. Stability curves were drawn to find the blowout regimes and to show the improvement in flame stability with increasing lip thickness of the fuel tube, which acts as a bluff-body. These curves collapse to a single line when the blowout curves are normalized by the size of the bluff-body. The variation of flame length with the increase in air flow rate was also investigated. In the subsonic coflow condition, the flame length decreased significantly, but in the supersonic coflow condition, the flame length increased slowly and finally reached a near-constant value. This phenomenon is attributed to the air-entrainment of subsonic flow and the compressibility effect of supersonic flow. The closed-tip recirculation zone flames in supersonic coflow had a reacting core in the partially premixed zone, where the fuel jet lost its momentum due to the high-pressure zone and followed the recirculation zone; this behavior resulted in the long characteristic time for the fuel-air mixing.

This is a common scenario of the Bangladesh RMG sector where sewing can also be done using high tech machines instead of semi-automatic machines. The study intends to demonstrate numerical comparison between semi-automatic and high tech sewing machines and the result presents huge savings in terms of SMV, manpower and cost for an organization. The study was conducted the appraisal for collar, cuff & flap making, pocket joining, sleeve placket creasing and button attaching process for a basic full sleeve woven shirt. These appraisals of both types of machines were done by collecting primary and secondary data. Required SMV, manpower and cost of a process were collected of both semi-automatic and high-tech machines. The result of the study provides smaller number of process, SMV, manpower and cost by using high-tech machine which is huge industrial savings and economic. So, the apparel manufacturers will get a strong reflection of the cost and productivity impact of using high tech machines.

The pricing is the most important factor obtainable in the global competitive market without having any suspicion. It is difficult to exist in the apparel market without providing lowest costing of garment. The study focuses on the entire factor that is directly related to the FOB cost of a basic denim pant where includes fabric cost, trims & accessories cost, storing, cost of making charge, washing cost, testing cost, commercial cost and profit is shown chronologically. All the calculations of the study were done on the basis of an industrial frame work and both primary and secondary data were collected from six different denim pant manufactures and exporters. The study provided convinced principle of fabric consumption, thread consumption, CM calculation, required poly; cartoons calculations and costing were done very carefully. The study also provides potential wash and testing, so that the total price ranges can be contained as well as demonstrating total FOB cost. The manufacturers, exporters, retailer and consumers of denim pant will get the apparent method of costing and its parameter.

In the global apparel market, product order is placed where additional prospects are available. The competitor countries are always trying to get the business position in world apparel market. To beat the competitor countries Bangladesh RMG sector is passing a very crucial situation. As a result, to sustain in business the sector is facing many challenges day by day because the lack of forward linkages. In this case, most of the industries have no research and development section; also have no grander marketing strategy. Overseas workforces are controlling the major part of management, production and engineering of the garment industries. The purpose of the study is to identify the present status of forward linkages of Bangladesh's RMG sector and to overcome the condition. The reduction and growth rate of garment factories, employment and export of RMG can be analyzed by looking at the main apparel item which is t-shirt and its export in nine different EU countries and by doing the analysis of the unsustainability in this business arena of Bangladesh. The study contains the present condition of RMG business, forward linkages of RMG sector, how to solve the barriers and find out some effective opportunities to meet the demand and expand the RMG business to sustain in the world market. Enhancement of the activities for moving forward and local workforce will overcome those challenges as well as expand this business.
