Meskipun Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) telah diluncurkan sejak tahun 2016, pelaksanaannya masih ... more Meskipun Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) telah diluncurkan sejak tahun 2016, pelaksanaannya masih bervariasi dan tidak jelas orientasinya. Umumnya sekolah tidak memiliki perangkat penilaian hasil membaca literasi siswa sehingga pelaksanaan GLS terkesan sekadar pro-forma. Kondisi ini terjadi karena pada umumnya guru pembina GLS tidak memiliki pengetahuan dan/atau ketampilan untuk mengembangkan assessment tools (perangkat penilaian). Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini diajukan sebagai upaya untuk menutupi kesenjangan tersebut. Dengan berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini, para guru pembina GLS difasilitasi untuk mengembangkan perangkat penilaian untuk kegiatan membaca literasi siswa. Dengan dikembangkannya perangkat penilaian tersebut, para partisipan lokakarya ini merasa terbantu dalam memonitor perkembangan kognitif siswa dalam membaca bahan-bahan bacaan literasi di sekolah. Dalam bidang pendidikan dan pembelajaran guru dan siswa dituntut untuk memiliki ICT Literacy Skills. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk (1) membekali guru-guru Bahasa Inggris di Kota Mataram, Lombok, NTB dengan kemampuan memanfaatkan ICT ( Google Classroom ) dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris; (2) membekali guru dengan kemampuan memanfaatkan ICT sebagai solusi pembelajaran dan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK); dan (3) mengembangkan Google Classroom untuk mata pelajaran masing-masing. The emergence of this policy is a response to the issue of massively educated unemployment in the job market, both nationally and globally. The present study seeks to (1) describe the level of readiness of Indonesian universities in the island of Lombok in response to the ILIC policy related to the lecture exchange program among universities, (2) explore the hurdles faced by the local universities in preparing the exchange program and (3) investigate types of technical assistance needed by those universities to implement ILIC Policy effectively. This qualitative research aims to find out teachers' perceptions about females leadership and how principal leadership of females influences the performance of teachers and students' achievement. Data collection techniques include structured interviews, observations and documentation studies. Sources of research data are principal leadership, vice-principal leadership, teachers, staff, and students. Data were thematically analyzed by the phases of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results revealed some stakeholder perceptions about the principal leadership of females. Although this movement has been disseminated and trained to school teachers, principals, and school supervisors, the impact of the movement's training is not yet widely known due to the lack of research in this field. This study aims (1) to reveal the leadership strategies of the Selected Middle School Principals in Sumbawa Regency in optimizing the Strengthening of Character Education Movement, and (2) analyze problems faced by principals in carrying out their roles as strategic leaders in optimizing the implementation of SCEM. The collection of data used a qualitative research design with a multi-case study approach. Results of the study show all participants, principals of the selected schools, have developed various strategic leaderships to optimize the implementation of SCEM.
