The study aims to obtain variety with broad adaptations that are able to grow and produce optimal... more The study aims to obtain variety with broad adaptations that are able to grow and produce optimal production on marginal fields of onion planting, which can improve farmers' welfare, reduce dependence on red onion imports, become exporters of onion to food sovereignty. The method that will be used is a Randomized Block Design (RBD) method consisting of five red onion variety as treatment, namely BimaBrebes, Tajuk, Bauji, Super Philip, and Local Enrekang variety. Each treatment was repeated three times. Data processing with SPSS Software, Version 22, and if there is a real influence, then a different test is performed with the Duncan Test at the level of ap= 0.05. The research was carried out on the experimental land of STIP PuangrimaggalatungSengkang. The parameters observed consist of the growth and production of onion plants. The results of the analysis showed that the onion variety that was quite adaptive was BimaBrebes variety onion and was able to produce an average production of 12.08 t ha-1 .

Objective: to analyze the complexity of marginalization faced by the Kokoda Tribe in Sorong, Sout... more Objective: to analyze the complexity of marginalization faced by the Kokoda Tribe in Sorong, Southwest Papua. Theoretical framework: The Gramsci's theory of hegemony explains that the dominance of intellectual and moral leadership by the ruling class caused the complexity of marginalization. Methods: qualitative research with a critical ethnographic approach. Data were found through field observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data were processed through the stages of ethnographic discovery, making ethnographic notes, and ethnographic descriptions. Data were analyzed through four stages: domain analysis, taxonomy analysis, component analysis, and theme analysis. Results and conclusion: the complexity of marginalization of the Kokoda Tribe, including psychological marginalization: negative stereotypes such as destroyers of nature, criminals, and low work ethic. Political marginalization: political monopoly and political victimization. Economic marginalization: jobs that only come from nature, such as stone breaking and selling mangroves. Social marginalization: ostracism and limited information. Educational marginalization: very low education. The vicious circle of marginalization experienced by the Kokoda Tribe is the result of the hegemony of the dominant group's power. Research implications: Suggestions to the government, academics, and social institutions to help improve the quality of life of the Kokoda Tribe who are independent, dignified, and able to create a sustainable living environment. Originality: The causes of marginalization are not always external, but can also be internal, such as the domination of indigenous Papuan ruling groups.

One of them is through an assessment of the health of the trees. They know the condition of the damage and the actions that must be taken. The utilization of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in assessing the health condition of the forest is very much needed to facilitate management through the health condition of a forest that is described spatially. The data analysis results showed 17 clusters of observation plots used in total. The cluster plots are spread over 5 clusters in good condition, and 1 cluster in lousy condition in East Lampung Regency. 6 clusters are in good condition, and 1 cluster is in moderate condition in Pesawaran Regency. This research was carried out in Tahi Ite Village, Rarowatu District, Bombana Regency by using a qualitative approach. The results showed that the pattern of socio-economic relations in gold mining in Tahi Ite Village, Rarowatu Subdistrict, Bombana District intertwined, among others; 1) Government's Social-Economic Relationship with the Community, namely the transfer of management with consideration of income. 2) Government's Socio-Economic Relations with Investors, namely increasing regional own-source revenue (PAD) through profit-sharing/royalty 3) Investor's Social-Economic Relationship with the Community, namely the opening of employment opportunities. 4) Socio-Economic Relations Among Communities, namely land management by way of profit sharing or percent of the land.

The most obvious progress in communication technology and information today is the speed and ease... more The most obvious progress in communication technology and information today is the speed and ease of access that can be enjoyed by anyone. Entering the era of industrial revolution 4.0, a collaboration between the world of education and communication technology should be encouraged to facilitate access to information in the learning process so that it can answer the challenges of today's modern world. Taking policy and decisions related to higher education must be able to adapt to the conditions in this fourth generation industrial revolution era. This paper tries to explain the urgency of a Communication and Information Technology Application Training in the Learning Process of the Communication Science Department in Facing the Age of Industrial Revolution 4.0. As for the approach used is an approach that we call a persuasive-educative approach, which is intended to provide a number of understandings, skills, and knowledge so that it can apply communication and information technology to the learning process of the communication science department. In this training, the methods were lectures, discussions and practices/exercises. The results show that through this Training can encourage the strengthening of academic programs and research and innovation in the learning process of communication sciences. The creation of a communication and information technology-based learning atmosphere in the communication science department that is supported by information systems and integrated education services in communication science laboratories.

This research used a qualitative approach and applied observations and interviews as the data collection technique. The research sample consisted of 25 people, including 23 stone-breaking women, who have a family, and 2 village heads, whose village areas contain stone-mining enterprises. The obtained data was analysed qualitatively, implying that the processes of data collection, data reduction, data display, and data verification were carried out simultaneously. The results of this study show that the respondents allocate more time to household chores than to stone-breaking work. However, through the activities as a stone breaker, homemakers do make a significant economic contribution to the family’s income. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Data yang dicari adalah jenis data berupa data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif yang bersumber dari data primer dan data sekunder, pemeriksaan keabsahan datanya dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi dan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat proses pemberdayaan di Desa Santiri melalui penyadaran, pengorganisasian masyarakat dan penghantaran sumber daya melalui Badan Usaha Milik Desa. Dengan demikian, dapat menunjukan bahwa adanya proses pemberdayaan yang dapat meberdayakan masyarakat di Desa Santiri Kecamatan Tiworo Utara Kabupaten Muna Barat.

Exploitation of mining everywhere including gold mining in Bombana Regency, Southeast Sulawesi ba... more Exploitation of mining everywhere including gold mining in Bombana Regency, Southeast Sulawesi basically always showed two dilemmatic things. On the one hand, it was expected to have a positive contribution in increasing social welfare. On the other hand, it also aroused the risk society. This research aimed to express a variety of risks that happened as the effect of gold mining exploitation in Bombana Regency. This research used qualitative research, a variant case study that was meant to describe profoundly and holistically the effect caused by the mining exploitation. These findings showed that the exploitation of gold mining in Bombana Regency has an impact on the aspect of human and environmental life, namely ecological and socioeconomic effects. The above-mentioned complexity of effect constructed a condition called risk society, covering the risk of socioeconomic and natural material structures.

The results showed that the strategy of strengthening the social capital of rice farmers in increasing agricultural productivity in Tridhana Mulya Village included mutual trust and cooperation. The mutual trust of rice farmers in Tridhana Mulya Village is in the form of providing agricultural business capital, increasing the work ethic of rice farmers, increasing farmers' tenacity in farming, and allocation of working hours by farmers. The village heads will try to improve the situation of the village as well as its residents. People who have this rank have obligations and responsibilities for carrying out village activities. However, democracy is the way to accomplish the best outcomes in terms of peace, justice, and security. The decision support system using the Composite Performance Index (CPI) method functions to assess village head candidates and process them in order to get good ranking results. The most important result of the election is what the village head decides. The application of the Composite Performance Index (CPI) method is very good in determining the right person who will occupy the position of the village head.

Karena itu, artikel ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan pentingnya adalah modal sosial dan sinergisitas triple helix (akademisi, pemerintah, dan pengusaha). Methodologically, this research is based on a phenomenological approach. The results showed the reconstruction of the social support approach model needed to solve the internal and external problems is: (1) Maintain the paradigm and social belief that social support is an integral part of the system of treatment and cure of tuberculosis disease, (2) Promote an openness to all traits, types and forms of social support in a reciprocal way, (3) Development of mutual assistance based on local cultural wisdom values and socio-cultural norms in social support approach, (4) Empowerment of social competences in developing methods and strategies for innovative and creative social support approaches in accordance with the characteristics and needs of social support, (5) Institutionalization of social support into a social system and social structure, belief tradition system, system of values of local cultural wisdom, system of socio-cultural norms, medical service system, as well as government policy systems and programs in the prevention of tuberculosis disease, (6) Institutionalization of potential social support sources in an integrated and comprehensive, (7) Development of policies and programs specifically for social support approaches, (8) Institutionalization of participation of all parties both tuberculosis patients, family, neighbors, colleagues, social workers, health cadres, medical personnel, as well as other stakeholders, (9) Development of more specific macro-micro design to solve every problem of social support needs,(10) Development of social support approach strategies in an integrated and comprehensive manner to the problems faced by tuberculosis patients and its families.

Entering the era of industrial revolution 4.0, a collaboration between the world of education and communication technology should be encouraged to facilitate access to information in the learning process so that it can answer the challenges of today's modern world. Taking policy and decisions related to higher education must be able to adapt to the conditions in this fourth generation industrial revolution era. This paper tries to explain the urgency of a Communication and Information Technology Application Training in the Learning Process of the Communication Science Department in Facing the Age of Industrial Revolution 4.0. As for the approach used is an approach that we call a persuasive-educative approach, which is intended to provide a number of understandings, skills, and knowledge so that it can apply communication and information technology to the learning process of the communication science department. In this training, the methods were lectures, discussions and practices/exercises. The results show that through this Training can encourage the strengthening of academic programs and research and innovation in the learning process of communication sciences. The creation of a communication and information technology-based learning atmosphere in the communication science department that is supported by information systems and integrated education services in communication science laboratories.

This research used a qualitative approach and applied observations and interviews as the data collection technique. The research sample consisted of 25 people, including 23 stone-breaking women, who have a family, and 2 village heads, whose village areas contain stone-mining enterprises. The obtained data was analysed qualitatively, implying that the processes of data collection, data reduction, data display, and data verification were carried out simultaneously. The results of this study show that the respondents allocate more time to household chores than to stone-breaking work. However, through the activities as a stone breaker, homemakers do make a significant economic contribution to the family’s income. Data yang dicari adalah jenis data berupa data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif yang bersumber dari data primer dan data sekunder, pemeriksaan keabsahan datanya dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi dan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat proses pemberdayaan di Desa Santiri melalui penyadaran, pengorganisasian masyarakat dan penghantaran sumber daya melalui Badan Usaha Milik Desa. On the one hand, it was expected to have a positive contribution in increasing social welfare. On the other hand, it also aroused the risk society. This research aimed to express a variety of risks that happened as the effect of gold mining exploitation in Bombana Regency. This research used qualitative research, a variant case study that was meant to describe profoundly and holistically the effect caused by the mining exploitation. These findings showed that the exploitation of gold mining in Bombana Regency has an impact on the aspect of human and environmental life, namely ecological and socioeconomic effects. The above-mentioned complexity of effect constructed a condition called risk society, covering the risk of socioeconomic and natural material structures.
