To that end, in 1965 the Qur'an and its translation were published, the process of which was facilitated by the government through the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia. Then a body was appointed that produced two works. Al-Quran and its translation. Second, al-Quran and its interpretation. However, there is another assumption that behind the "goodness" of the New Order which seemed to understand the will of Muslims in Indonesia, it turned out that there were political fears that haunted him. Writing the Qur'an and its Tafsir is a government program of the Republic of Indonesia which is a continuation of the Al-Qur'an translation project. The social nuance is seen in this interpretation. From the other side, theological nuances also color the work of this interpretation. This interpretation of the Qur'an and its interpretation can be said to be a Sunni interpretation, namely an interpretation that uses the principles of the teachings of Ahlu Sunnah wal Jama'ah This interpretation tends not to display differences of opinion.

The video visualization on this channel consists of four components: (1) Thumbnail, which consists of texts and pictures, (2) Opening, location of the street food, (3) M ain contents: reviewing food and its texture, (4) Closing: delivering persuasive words about religious messages. The religious messages are delivered by saying a common statement "Borong Semua" (all of them) to share and participate in helping disadvantaged people. This statement has soon become famous and has inspired similar channels to do the same. The Hobby Makan channel has shown altruism and piety through philanthropic activities in its videos. As a YouTuber with more than 3 million subscribers, Hobby M akan has the power to influence people. Its videos have inspired another YouTuber to do the same. This study, therefore, aims at illustrating how fundraising innovation through electronic technology has been adapted to a current trend in millennial society. As a qualitative case study to analyze phenomena, a semiotic approach is applied to analyze the channel contents or message. As the result, the study shows an increasing approach and innovation in philanthropic activities in da'wah.

This case is a huge challenge for MoRA to obtain public trust as it involved the Holy Qur'an, a book considered by Muslims as sacred. This study uses interviews, document and recapitulation data from tashih online application, and observation. Here, accountability and transparency were the important points to rectifying public services, so as to create a zone of integrity that was free from corruption, collusion, and nepotism. MoRA established Lajnah Pentashihan Mushaf al-Qur'an (LPMQ/the Committee of Rectifying of the Qur'an) to check the validity of the master draft of the Qur'an; thereby avoiding this book from any typographical error. In 2018, LPMQ launched an online rectification (tashih online) to give a better service to society throughout Indonesia and to regain their trust.

This tension recently emerged in Indonesian public life when a state Islamic university defended the autonomy of its research practices against a challenge by scholars from outside the university who claimed that the doctoral project of Jalaluddin Rakhmat (1949–2021) offended doctrinal positions of the Sunni majority and gave priority to Shiite historiography and doctrine. This dispute shows how questions concerning academic method become disputes about public interest, and further, its resolution attests to the emergence of free inquiry as an Islamic value in the environment of MORA's universities. Academics cited the example of earlier generations of scholars as supporting precedent for an Islamic principle of free inquiry.

This is library research. The author used the book Ar-Rohiqul Makhtum by Al-Mubarakfuri as the main reference. The author reached the conclusion that the Prophet Muhammad took several strategic steps in his da'wah in Medina, including 1) Building a Mosque, 2) Brothering Muslims from the Muhajirin and Ansar, 3) Making a peace treaty with all of the Medina Citizens. The author agrees with Nabil As-Samaluti (2019) and Imam Amrusi Jailani (2016) that the concept of the State of Medina is a concept of peace for the entire citizens. This article also supports Komaruddin (2011), who stated that the Islamic State was not founded by coercion and violence.

It is a psychological depression or anxiety resulting from dissatisfaction with a male sexual identity.[1][2] His fatwā contains ḥadīths (the utterances ascribed to the Prophet Muhammad and his companions). Some of these ḥadīths encourage curing all illnesses including psychological hermaphroditism and others discourage hermaphrodites. This fatwā seems to be on the side of medicine because it endorses surgical procedures to cure Sally's psychological hermaphroditism. This fatwā addresses both aspects of these conflicting ḥadīths. The fatwā concludes that the operation is permissible as long as it is performed under the advice of a trustworthy doctor and that Sally did not have it to indulge her desires.[1]

with a question: how does he offer an alternative Islam which strengthens not only the ritual asp... more with a question: how does he offer an alternative Islam which strengthens not only the ritual aspects of Islam, but also its social and intellectual elements? The author answers this by positioning himself as a Shi`ite neo modernist Muslim. Here, he combines not only between the Sunnite scholarship and modern western thought (modernism), but also between the Shi`ite intellectualism and modernism. This book consists of five chapters in which Jalaluddin argues that Islam does not separate its ritual worships from its social and intellectual aspects. In tandem with this argument, Muhammad `Imaduddin `Abdulrahim (21 April 1931-2 August 2008) gives his introductory words saying that this separation is due to the colonial Dutch that reinforced this division through Islamic education system in Indonesia. This system focuses on the ritual aspects (`ubudiyyah) of Islam. According to Imaduddin, Indonesian history of Islam says that Dutch orientalists, such as Snouck Hurgronje and Van der Plas, studied Islam to control it for the colonial advantage. They learned Arabic to manipulate the direction of learning of classical Islamic books (yellow books/kitab kuning) for their colonial interests by categorizing Islam into ritual and political Islam. These orientalists led the religious teachers (kiyais) or kiyai candidates in Islamic boarding schools to be engaged only in ritual Islam. This happened to Imaduddin's father who was arrested by Dutch for his trial to explain about the political aspect of the Qur'anic verse saying that Muslim should not take their leaders from both Jewish and Christian people. The Dutch regulation to Indonesian learned men (ulama) for not dealing with the political Islam has a wide impact up to the present time.
