Methods: Operating rooms are complex working environments where highly skilled and often cognitive interventions are taking place. It comprises various personnel with different skills and knowledge mix carrying out various functions. These they do with the aim of accomplishing tasks of making patients better. Within these interactions and actions, distractions can occur which can interfere with the surgical workflow, these as noted can be detrimental to the clinical performance (Antoniadis et al., 2014). Results: The impact of distractions can be influenced by multiple factors such as the agent of distraction themselves, the primary task and the environment, the teams' general observations suggest that distraction may be quite prevalent in our settings where most of our staff have been working together for a considerably longer period and could have developed a kind of bond with each other. Conclusions: Several researchers have linked distraction as a potential threat to patient safety (Feil 2014, White 2015, Lynch et al. 2009). As a patient safety issue, it is therefore of paramount importance for all institutions to take measures to mitigate against the potential impact of distractions, thereby reducing risks of harm to the patients and thus providing care that is of the highest quality.

This study used the descriptive qualitative approach by using interview and observation as data collection. The research findings revealed several indicators of conflict existence; they were unfairness, dishonesty, structured, massive and sistematic fraud that is still occured in politic democratic such as black campaign and money politics. As the impact, these indicators remain as a trigger of conflict that cause violence acts in the society in almost every part of Aceh which also occured in Aceh Besar. The most likely impact in the society was a demonstration which often happen in a campaign that often followed by violence acts, terror, and also intimidation

In this study, multivariate statistical methods were applied including the use of factor analysis, correlation analysis and cluster analysis to evaluate groundwater quality of Azmak Spring Zone using eight variables (Ca, Mg, Na, K, Cl, SO 4 , EC 25 and B) at 19 water points sampled in the dry and wet seasons. Hydrochemical analysis results revealed that for majority of the sampling points, the abundance of cations and anions were ordered as Na + K > Mg > Ca and Cl > SO 4 > HCO 3 + CO 3 , respectively. Factor analysis results indicated that three factors explain 98% and 91% of the total variance in the dry and wet seasons, respectively. Factor 1 was found to be associated with the seawater, factor 2 indicated the effect of fresh water and factor 3 was defined to reflect the effect of seasonal fresh surface water contribution. Cluster analysis results indicated that two main groups and four subgroups could be defined with respect to the ratio of the seawater contribution. Cluster A (A1 and A2) represents the waters affected by seawater while waters less affected by the seawater intrusion are grouped in cluster B (B1 and B2).

With a weight range of 250–275.5g and a mean length of 23.5-28.5cm, 150 post-juvenile catfish were purchased from Dalar Kifi Fish Farm BUK New site road, Kano State, and acclimated in a tank for 14 days. Fish were exposed to different vehicle wastewater concentrations of 0.0, 20, 40, 60, and 80% v/v with 5-level exposure concentrations during the acute test (96 hours) in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) employing renewal bioassay. The acute bioassay showed that the LC50 for the wastewater was 56 percent by volume at 96 hours. Compared to the control, the exposed fish exhibited abnormal swimming, erratic opercular movement, reflex loss, mucus secretion, increased air gulping with an increase in wastewater concentration. Except for water temperature, Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) and pH, the remaining physicochemical parameters were not within the WHO/FAO recommended Standard T...

Nineteen (19) physicochemical parameters were analysed at five different sampling locations in the reservoir. The physicochemical parameter was determined using standard methods, procedures, and instruments. Mean value of some of the physicochemical parameters in the reservoir that are beyond permissible limit include; Turbidity (98.0 ± 2.28 NTU), Total Hardness (87.16 ± 2.37 mg/l), Calcium (40.34 ± 1.35 mg/l), Nitrate-Nitrogen (1.07 ± 0.08 mg/l), Chloride (52.26 ± 1.65 mg/l), Magnesium (2.21 ± 0.14 mg/l) and Iron (0.50 ± 0.02 mg/l). The fluctuation of the physicochemical parameters of the reservoir could be attributed to farming activities, cattle rearing and bathing within the vicinity of the reservoir. Monitoring of human activities within the immediate catchment area of the reservoir and education on wise use of the water is recommended.
