Minimum weight spanning tree visits all vertices that are in the similar associated part as the beginning node. In this investigation, we examine the various techniques for solving a Generalized Minimum Weight Spanning Tree Problem. Also, we present the An Approach for Solving Minimum Spanning Tree Problem and Transportation Problem Using Modified Ant Colony Algorithm. Different methodologies have been made in the composition for dealing with transportation on finding an initial basic feasible solution and the rest to find the optimal solution to the TP. Northwest, Least Cost, and Vogel's Approximation techniques are created to find an initial basic feasible solution whereas the Modified Distribution (MODI) Method and Stepping Stone Method is designed to find an optimal solution to the TP. In this examination, we propose a h...

There are dozens of theories proposed to explain distribution patterns of the species (e.g. Hutchison’s hyper-volume concept (1957), Mc-Arthur ‘s Broken stick model, Janzen-Connel effects, Chesson’s lottery model (1981), Connells intermediate disturbance hypothesis, and Hubbell’s neutral theory (Hubbell, 2001)). Spatial distribution of tree species associated with several factors (e.g. habitat heterogeneity, dispersal limitation and tree interactions). Species composition is different with respect to high elevation areas, mid elevation areas, and low elevation. Limited dispersal ability of species delay competitive exclusion not allowing superior species to reach all the favorable sites. May be facilitation and competition of species determine species distribution of species. However, facilitation in tropical forest is rare. Competition is often found at s...

Research paper thumbnail of A Survey on Microgrid Control Techniques in Islanded Mode

However, in order to facilitate the penetration of distributed generation, the concept of microgrid was popularized. A microgrid can operate both in grid-connected and in islanded modes. One of the challenges in the microgrid environment is to provide both voltage control and maintain the system frequency while ensuring the stability of the network. This paper is a literature survey focused on different microgrid control techniques with different levels of communication especially in islanded operation.
