The purpose of this research was to study the Corporate Social Responsibility of companies, in combination with customers’ perspectives, in terms of their trends regarding their trust and loyalty. In this study, the business sector of the Greek mobile telecommunications’ companies was selected, where research on issues related to CSR is not considered extensive, to analyze customers’ attitudes towards a company that emphasizes its social responsibility. To complete the theoretical framework, questionnaires were collected to empirically investigate correlations and highlight, ultimately, the importance of having socially responsible companies in the mobile telecommunications sector in Greece. Σκοπός της έρευνας είναι η διερεύνηση της δυνατότητας ενσωμάτωσης της μεθόδου Project στη διδασκαλία του μαθήματος της Γ’ τάξης Τεχνολογικής κατεύθυνσης «Αρχές Οργάνωσης και Διοίκησης Επιχειρήσεων» καθώς και η διαπίστωση της αποτελεσματικότητάς της. The purpose of this study was to research the level of satisfaction teachers received from commun... more The purpose of this study was to research the level of satisfaction teachers received from communication within their working environment, their sense of the effectiveness of the institution itself, as well as the relationship between these factors. A quantitative method was used in the study. A total of 296 questionnaires were answered by teachers aged 25–64. Statistical analysis of the data was performed using the statistical software SPSS, while for the implementation of the statistical tests we applied the independent-samples T-test parametric, as well as one-way ANOVA, Kruskal–Wallis, and Mann–Whitney parametric statistical criteria. According to the results, the teachers showed high levels of satisfaction with the communication related to their feedback and believed that both parents and the local community do not participate actively in the school life. The survey involved 14 young farmers of the county. Research under the qualitative approach, used the semi-structured interview as a tool for data collection. Research findings showed that young farmers understand the benefits and importance of continuing education although is difficult to define precisely. As for future projects they wish to include more practical to approach issues of new crops and farming techniques, but also issues about promotional products such as marketing. This research investigates the learning result of applying blended learning with the combined use... more This research investigates the learning result of applying blended learning with the combined use of open educational platform and traditional teaching. This educational intervention took place during the course Principles of Economic Theory in the 3rd grade of High School. We measured the differences in student performance in an assessment test before and after the educational intervention, but also the changes in their attitude as to the course of the economy, itself. Moreover, we evaluated the students’ satisfaction from using the open educational platform, but also the social presence which was created. The results led to the conclusion that hybrid teaching methods, can be used in the teaching of Economics and is considered as important as traditional ones.

This research attempts to record the views of principals and teachers regarding the principals of... more This research attempts to record the views of principals and teachers regarding the principals of schools of the Secondary Education Directorate in Athens, Greece. Furthermore, it investigates how they administrate the educational units in order to highlight the features that distinguish the manager from the leader. Additionally, it underlines the need for teachers' training on issues in leadership and management, to improve efficacy in the educational unit. The research was conducted via anonymous questionnaire in 121 participants. The conclusions strengthened the inclusion of the management functions in the educational process. They also stressed the lack of principals-leaders and demonstrated the inability of schools to appreciate training courses and to innovate.

Furthermore, it is an important factor of improvement in the effectiveness and efficiency of services. This research presents an evaluation of a training program organized by the Greek Institute of Training. Specifically, it attempts to evaluate the attitude of public officials about the impact of the programs in order to improve efficiency and quality of service. For this purpose we evaluated 24 employees who attended the program. The questionnaire and the structured interview were used as methodological tools. The analysis revealed a positive attitude regarding the role of training programs, as trainees believe that the Institute of Training meet the workers’ educational needs (personal, professional, career).
