For the solution of this problem several methods and technologies have been adopted like development of high yielding varieties with improved agricultural practices. These varieties require more chemical fertilizers for the maximum production but excessive utilization of these chemical fertilizers may cause the deficiencies and infertility in the agricultural soils. So there is need to replace these chemical fertilizers with biological fertilizers due to their environmental sustainability. The utilization of cyanobacteria as bio-fertilizers are an eco-friendly, easily manageable and self-regenerating process which improve the nutrient status as well as health of soil. In addition to biological nitrogen fixation they also produce several growth promoting substances. During the present investigations we have adopted an experimental research approach to examine the effects...

Research paper thumbnail of Study on the Influence of Fly Ash on Heterotrophic Activities of Micro-organisms in Different Soils of Kanpur

During this study carbon dioxide evolution was chosen as an indicator ofsoil microbial activities. It was also undertaken to evaluate the effect of fly ash incorporation to soil on soilmicroflora with special reference to fIXation and cycling of nitrogen. The incorporation of fly ash into both kind of soils (sandy loam alluvial soil and acid soil) may improves soil property. It enhances the trace metal content when soil has a poor content of such elements. It also affects the pattern of carbon dioxide evolution.

They are morphologically diverse i.e.they may be found as unicellular, colonial and filamentous. Basically, Order Chroococcales represents the unicellular and colonial forms of cyanobacteria. The present study based on the systematic account of Chroococcales found in five sampling stations of river Ganga at Kanpur, between Bithoorghat to Jajmaughat, during the period from February 2013 to January 1014. During the present study 29 species belonging to 9 genera were identified and all these species belongs to single family Chroococcaceae. The observed genera were Microcystis

HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) is a virus that causes AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrom... more HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) is a virus that causes AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome), a health condition in which a person is affected by a series of diseases because of poor immunity. HIV by itself is not an illness and does not instantly lead to AIDS. Gp41 (HIV-1) protein is a glycoprotein which make the envelope of HIV-1 virus. It is very important in the infection of virus in to human body cells. So the Structure Prediction of Gp41 (HIV-1) protein can be used in the analysis of HIV virus infection in Human. Modeler is used for structure prediction of Gp41 [HIV-1 protein]. Predicted & validated structure can be used in the analysis of drug against AIDS disease, because by the analysis of structure we analyze conserve regions of Gp41 (HIV-1) Protein. These conserve regions sometimes defines as Binding Sites where appropriate ligands bind and inhibits the functions of Gp41 [HIV-1] protein. CASTp can be used to study surface features and functional regions of proteins. CASTp is used to analyze the binding pockets of Gp41 [HIV-1] protein.
