Using various sorts of fuzzy graph products, new graphs can be created from two existing graphs. So security of wireless sensors is also important. Based on Random Time Stamp concept, base station can randomly change the timing in which legal nodes can communicate. Attacker nodes will not aware of this. So it will be more secure than any other methods. In the case of wireless sensor networks, an adversary can capture some legal nodes and compromise it, also make replicas of them, and mount a variety of attacks with these replicas. An uncompromised mobile node should never move at speeds in excess of the system configured maximum speed. Raising the speed threshold or other simple ways of compensating can lead to high false negative rates. Patients suffer a lot due to xerostomia i.e. from high risk of caries to discomfort in wearing the intra oral prosthesis. It affects the quality of life of the patients. Many prosthodontic management options emerged and still researches are on progress to find best option for xerostomia management. Dentures with salivary reservoirs are one of the novel approaches in the management of xerostomia. But the procedure involved in the fabrication is cumbersome. We report a case with xerostomia and a modified approach to manage with salivary reservoir complete denture. We used split mandibular salivary reservoir complete denture using die pins and sialogogue (1% malic acid) to improve the comfort in wearing the complete dentures.

Recycling process in textile industry plays a significant role in order to move closer to a zero ... more Recycling process in textile industry plays a significant role in order to move closer to a zero landfill society. Hence, the textile waste from garment industry is used in this project which was sorted out by color. These color sorting requires no re-dying process, saves energy and avoid pollutants. Garment cutting waste collected from industry was grinded into fibers and developed into yarn. This recycled yarn of 20's count, virgin yarn of cotton, viscose and polyester of same color and count is used for comparison. As the recycled yarn has less strength for producing fabric, the yarn was doubled with virgin yarns. To compare the properties of doubled yarn with virgin yarn, the virgin cotton yarn of 20s count was also doubled with virgin viscose and polyester yarn. Then the woven fabrics were produced with twill weave structure from both the virgin and recycled doubled yarn. Fabric properties of all the samples were analyzed before constructing the garment. Due to the heaviness of the yarn as it is doubled, these fabrics are suitable for the construction of denim garments and hence the denim skirts were constructed from the woven fabrics. Combination of recycled cotton shows almost equal results as like the combination of virgin cotton & polyester.

An attempt has been made to develop anti-microbial textiles using honey and turmeric. The concent... more An attempt has been made to develop anti-microbial textiles using honey and turmeric. The concentratio n of honey and turmeric is optimised as 70:30 and it was appli ed on to the fabric using direct padding and microe ncapsulation technique. The antimicrobial activity of microencap sulated honey and turmeric treated fabric were test ed against the infectious bacteria Pseudomonas and Staphylococcus aureus. Both the samples show better results against the bacteria before and after washing in Plate count method. Opt ical density values show that the microbial growth reduces with the application of honey and turmeric.

With increasing responsibilities at both personal and professional lives, working women find it difficult to be successful in one life without sacrificing the other. When there is an imbalance between work and family lives, it may result in family strife, violence, divorce, parenting troubles; while in work it may result in higher rates of absenteeism, reduced productivity, decreased job satisfaction and much more. Hence, work-life balance is an emerging priority for the health and well being of employed women, their families and for overall economic competitiveness.

Background: Open appendectomy is one of the most common surgeries done in an emergency operation ... more Background: Open appendectomy is one of the most common surgeries done in an emergency operation theatre even after three decades of introduction of laparoscopic surgeries. The previous studies done on laparoscopic appendectomy produced conflicting recommendations, and the adequacy of sample sizes is generally unknown. We compared primary outcomes after laparoscopic and open appendectomy in a sample of predetermined statistical power. Methods: A pre-study power analysis suggested that 200 randomized patients would yield 80% power to show a mean decrease of 1.3 days hospitalization. One hundred ninety-eight patients with a preoperative diagnosis of acute appendicitis were randomized prospectively to laparoscopic or open appendectomy. The primary outcomes measured were duration of operative time, postoperative pain and analgesia, length of hospital stay and cosmetic advantages. Results: It was found that mean operation time was 33±5.8 minute and 37± 7.5 minute in OA and LA respectively. Duration of post-operative hospital stay was 1.2 days shorter in Laparoscopic group. LA required 1.1 shots of less analgesic than OA. Oral feeding was resumed 21 hours earlier following LA compared to OA. Laparoscpic appendectomy was safely performed in paediatric patient without any adverse effect. We also found that, in female patient, concurrent ovarian cysts, tubal pregnancy and endometriosis can be diagnosed and managed laparoscopically in the same sitting. Conclusions: Present study found that laparoscopic appendectomy is an effective and safe procedure irrespective of age and sex of the patient. LA has added advantage of early return of bowel movement, less post-op hospital stays and less requirement of narcotic analgesic.

The Delay Locked Loop (DLL) clock generators play a vital role in clock generator circuits, due to the low jitter accumulation and stability in the output. The proposed Double Edge Triggering (DET) for DLL clock generators reduces the power consumption on the clock network. The DLL is designed using single phase clocking scheme which minimizes the delay deviation and phase errors. The clock generator is designed to operate at a frequency of 500MHZ. The analysis is made between single edge triggered DLL and double edge triggered DLL and the power consumed is found to be 5.328mW and 3.43mW respectively using 65nm CMOS process.

They would also offer economical benefits to a number of developing countries, where vegetable fibres are grown and cultivated in large quantity. The use of nanotechnology in textiles aims to improve the material’s functionalities or give it new characteristics (“Smart Clothes”). Nano particles can be released by mechanical load, abrasion and other external influences. This study mainly focuses on the application of Nano Silver to Tencel and its blended textile yarns, converting them to materials, dyeing with selected Natural Dyes and subjecting to Bio enzyme wash. The impact of this study would create a demand for comfortable, clean and hygienic textile goods which would cal for an urgent need for production of antimicrobial textile goods. With the advent of new technologies such as nano silver and new fibres, the growing needs of consumers in terms of health and hygiene can be fulfilled without compromising issues related to safety, human health and the environment.

Background: Open appendectomy is one of the most common surgeries done in an emergency operation ... more Background: Open appendectomy is one of the most common surgeries done in an emergency operation theatre even after three decades of introduction of laparoscopic surgeries. The previous studies done on laparoscopic appendectomy produced conflicting recommendations, and the adequacy of sample sizes is generally unknown. We compared primary outcomes after laparoscopic and open appendectomy in a sample of predetermined statistical power. Methods: A pre-study power analysis suggested that 200 randomized patients would yield 80% power to show a mean decrease of 1.3 days hospitalization. One hundred ninety-eight patients with a preoperative diagnosis of acute appendicitis were randomized prospectively to laparoscopic or open appendectomy. The primary outcomes measured were duration of operative time, postoperative pain and analgesia, length of hospital stay and cosmetic advantages. Results: It was found that mean operation time was 33±5.8 minute and 37± 7.5 minute in OA and LA respectively. Duration of post-operative hospital stay was 1.2 days shorter in Laparoscopic group. LA required 1.1 shots of less analgesic than OA. Oral feeding was resumed 21 hours earlier following LA compared to OA. Laparoscpic appendectomy was safely performed in paediatric patient without any adverse effect. We also found that, in female patient, concurrent ovarian cysts, tubal pregnancy and endometriosis can be diagnosed and managed laparoscopically in the same sitting. Conclusions: Present study found that laparoscopic appendectomy is an effective and safe procedure irrespective of age and sex of the patient. LA has added advantage of early return of bowel movement, less post-op hospital stays and less requirement of narcotic analgesic.

The Delay Locked Loop (DLL) clock generators play a vital role in clock generator circuits, due to the low jitter accumulation and stability in the output. The proposed Double Edge Triggering (DET) for DLL clock generators reduces the power consumption on the clock network. The DLL is designed using single phase clocking scheme which minimizes the delay deviation and phase errors. The clock generator is designed to operate at a frequency of 500MHZ. The analysis is made between single edge triggered DLL and double edge triggered DLL and the power consumed is found to be 5.328mW and 3.43mW respectively using 65nm CMOS process.

They would also offer economical benefits to a number of developing countries, where vegetable fibres are grown and cultivated in large quantity. The use of nanotechnology in textiles aims to improve the material’s functionalities or give it new characteristics (“Smart Clothes”). Nano particles can be released by mechanical load, abrasion and other external influences. This study mainly focuses on the application of Nano Silver to Tencel and its blended textile yarns, converting them to materials, dyeing with selected Natural Dyes and subjecting to Bio enzyme wash. The impact of this study would create a demand for comfortable, clean and hygienic textile goods which would cal for an urgent need for production of antimicrobial textile goods. With the advent of new technologies such as nano silver and new fibres, the growing needs of consumers in terms of health and hygiene can be fulfilled without compromising issues related to safety, human health and the environment.
