Travel medicine services are offered by general practitioners, specialized travel clinics, or immunization centers. Epidemiology, illness prevention, and travel-related self-treatment are all included in the interdisciplinary field of travel medicine. The main objective is to keep travelers alive and in good health, by reducing the effects of illness and accidents through preventative measures and self-care. The danger to a traveler's health and well-being must be understood, and the travel medicine practitioner's job is to help their patient or client recognize and manage those risks. The absence of any disease or symptom does not always indicate good health. Chronic illness sufferers, including those with cancer, diabetes, and hypertension, can maintain a reasonable level of health and mobility. Travel medicine is a rapidly developing, extremely dynamic, multidisciplinary field that calls for knowledge of a range of travelrelated illnesses as well as current information on the global epidemiology of infectious and non-infectious health risks, immunization laws and requirements around the world, and the shifting trends in drugresistant infections. Pre-travel consultation aims to reduce the traveler's risk of disease and harm while on the road through preventive counseling, education, recommended drugs, and essential vaccines. Specialized medical guidance can help reduce the potential health risks of travel. Emporiatrics is not only used for traveling advice or things to be done during the period of the journey but it also creates room in implementing the interdisciplinary subject with new methods or development of new policies, technologies, and various programs to reduce unnecessary problems of the travelers, which will boost tourism.

" Aging is a process that converts a fit body into a frail one that is vulnerable to infections, injuries, and death. 1) In India, "senior citizens" are defined as older adults of Indian nationality aged 60 years and above. The National Policy for Older Persons was established in 1999 by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation and the National Statistics Office of the Government of India. The older adult population has increased from 24.7 million in the 1961 census to a projected 137.9 million and 158.7 million for the 2022 and 2025 censuses, respectively, accounting for 11.1% of the overall population. 2,3) This increasing older adult population leads to economic, social, and health concerns that require immediate and prompt responses from the government, enterprises, and society. 4,5) The onus of morbidity is immense. Diseases pose great threats to older adults, whose socioeconomic status is questionable. Disabilities worsen the daily living activities of old age. 6) While the United Nations

These two parameters are of great significance in clinical practice; identifying the dominant eye helps in planning cataract surgeries, treatment of presbyopia, monovision correction, etc., and assessing the CCT helps in early diagnosis and management of keratoconus, glaucoma, contact lens-related complications, and dry eye. Methods A cross-sectional study that involves patients and volunteers who have come for a checkup to the ophthalmology department of the college hospital. Ninety patients were examined for this study within two months. The hole-in-card test is performed to determine the ocular dominance in people with normal and healthy eyes without any pathologies except refractive errors. Specular microscopy through a non-contact modality will be done to assess the thickness of the central cornea in both eyes. Statistical analysis was done using the paired t-test to compare the patient's eyes and the chi-square test, which helps us associate ocular dominance and CCT. Results Right eye dominance was seen in the majority of the participants (72.91%), whereas left eye dominance was seen in comparatively fewer participants (27.08%). The CCT of the dominant eye is found to be 520.40 ± 29.83 μm and that of the non-dominant eye is 524.40 ± 29.37 μm. A lower CCT in the dominant eye was seen in 83.33% of the subjects; 14.58% of them had a higher CCT in the dominant eye and 2.08% had the same CCT in both eyes. Conclusion From the observational study that has been made, the majority of the population shows right eye dominance. The CCT is relatively thinner in the dominant eye. About 80-85% of the examined people showed a thinner cornea in the dominant eye. But we cannot generalize that the eye with a lesser corneal thickness will be the dominant eye in all the cases, as a few cases have shown dominance in the eye with a thicker cornea.

In resident physicians and other health care providers, scheduled in-house calls, frequent pager/phone calls, and work required during nights are the norm. These phenomena along with the normal pull for work/life balance lead to acute and chronic partial sleep restriction, sleep disruption and circadian misalignment. As is true for the general population, residents are not immune to sleepiness and performance deficits associated with curtailed sleep. Residents are also at risk for metabolic dysregulation, including increased risk of obesity, cardiovascular disease, and mood disturbances that accompany disrupted sleep and circadian misalignment. Initial data suggesting worse patient outcomes when residents work >80 hours weekly, pushed Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) to limit r...

The depression level increase, can be co-related with crime & criminal behavior. This study is based on the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) and the data is being collected from Udaipur district. Students from three schools, aged between 12-16 years (both male and female) are surveyed and the collected data is being analyzed to establish a relationship between depression & criminal behavior in juveniles. In our research analysis, we collected data of 596 students who belongs to the different areas of Udaipur and have different standards and are from distinct communities. Their families and school background describe the level of the mental pressure, and the reasons for these conditions could be correlated with both childhood depression and adult criminal...
