University missions has been re-shaped and re-designed considering the new ways (methods and tools) for communication, opinion expressions, dialogue, for scientific argumentations and negotiations, promotion of different results, achievements, events or the university activities. Multimedia competencies have become more valuable and together with the digital creativity has been considered the new “weapon” for creating a new image of the online universities (defining the new online world of the academic environment). In this context, the paper first, presents the specific situation and potential for multimedia competencies development in the case of the seven partners of MUST project: “Multimedia Competencies for University Staff to Empower University - Community Collaborations” (2020-1-RO01-KA203-080399, https://mustproject.eu/). The extended study refers to partners from countries as: Romania, Slovenia, Germany, Lithuania, Portugal, Spain, and North Macedonia. The preliminary state of the university staff competencies in the field of multimedia, has been the basis for the survey based on a designed questionnaire development for the training needs development. In the final part of this article the results of the survey are presented together with some comments and conclusions. The achieved knowledge and information from the extended study on motivation and need for multimedia skills development in the case of university staff have been considered for designing the MUST training program structure and content.

In this paper, we are focusing on the integration of Roma and migrant children in schools and the activation of youth to help as volunteers. Although diversity is an opportunity to make schools more inclusive, creative and open-minded, inequality in education is highest among Roma and migrant children. Europe needs more efficient, but at the same time more inclusive and equitable education systems. In this respect, responsible school management has a key role in adapting learning environment to the specific mix of students and making it more inclusive. In the research part, we provide an evaluation of the seminars delivered in Slovenia (RoMigSc project). Almost three fourths of the respondents reported previous experience with specific methods of integrating Roma and migrant children into the learning environment. Most of the participants were teachers, school counsellors, social workers, public administrators and civil society activists /volunteers. Nearly half of them include volunteers in their activities. For the participants, the most valuable element of the seminars was the exchange of experience. They learned lessons which they liked the most, related to building social network with the inclusion of different levels of society and transfer of experience. As major suggestions for improvements of seminars, the participants listed more case studies and discussions.

Reinforcing entrepreneurial education in schools, vocational education institutions and universities has important impact on young generations: it encourages employability and self-employment, innovation and entrepreneurial skills are essential for social cohesion, personal development and active citizenship. The learning process in entrepreneurship education should foster the development of competencies of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship, as this helps to develop the learner as an individual who recognizes opportunities, creatively solves problems and conflicts, accepts responsibility and risk decisions and takes initiatives. Entrepreneurship is not only related to economic activities and business creations, but more widely to all areas of life and society. Sense of initiative and entrepreneurship (in broader sense) is also one of the ei...

Some users/university staff were better prepared for this, but others need support and training in the development of digital skills. Increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of digitized activities (administrative, educational, research, university marketing, communication, and community involvement, with business or industrial partners) require increasing concerns for the university's human resources to have the necessary knowledge of operation. Moreover, our students are from generation Z, Millennials and can be stimulated in learning, interaction, and communication with the help of digital means, multimedia technologies and social media. We are witnessing a radical change in the way communication takes place in universities and within its extended community, with its various stakeholders. In this dynamic context we have built and present the way to extend the digital/multime...

OBJECTIVE: The goal of this study was to understand how kinesthetic and spatial sensations gained through SCW translate into knowledge with a particular focus on the longer-term organizational effects. METHODS: We performed semi-structured interviews and used triangulation of sources (constellator and clients) and methods (inductive, deductive coding and ethnographic approach). RESULTS: The study identified a phase model of SCW process revolving around organizational trauma enmeshed in the context of personal, organizational and social systemic fields. CONCLUSIONS: The results imply that SCW is a valid method of trauma healing and prevention.

Our research is a case study at the course level of a business and economics study programme at a private higher education institution in Slovenia. The study is based on decision-tree induction, a highly used algorithm in a variety of domains for knowledge discovery and pattern recognition using a data mining approach. The results revealed that students are less satisfied with a course when both the requirements for the involvement in the e-classroom and the workload are both high. Further, the average grade might not be of crucial importance when addressing student satisfaction. In our case, students are much more satisfied with a course when the average grades are high and when the workload is not so elevated and when a part of the workload moves to the e-classroom.

The evaluation carried out in 2007 aims to determine the programme objective areas with greatest impact and the areas where objectives were falling behind. Generally, the impacts of actions for all objectives are at least small. With this regard, evaluation confirmed that certain degree of success is noticeable in all evaluated actions and both European education and training programmes. The impact of actions and programmes, however, differs from objective to objective. According to the findings, the evaluated actions have two stronger lines of impact. The first, perhaps the strongest pronounced one, manifests itself in the impact on raising the level of competency of individuals. The first one mostly regards improving the knowledge of foreign languages, skills and competences of participants in the field of vocational education. A str...

For that reason, we conducted research, by which we wanted to measure customer satisfaction in dental practice services in Slovenia, as a part of health care system. We directed our research into this field because we believe that satisfaction with services is also shown by the frequency of using the services of the same sort in foreign countries. We were interested in factors which have an influence on the decisions of local users of dental practice services to change the provider of dental services and those dental practice services abroad. In the research, we used a quantitative method. The data were analysed with the statistical software tool SPSS. In the empirical part of the study, the gathered data helped...
