The proposed control method exhibits three main advantages: first, to our best knowledge, it is the first time that predefined-time convergence in a consensus problem is achieved for agents with high-order nonlinear dynamics, using a robust leader-following protocol, which allows an effective rejection of matched disturbances in the agents model. Second, the proposed controller provides continuous and smooth control signals of lower magnitude than existing approaches. Third, the proposed consensus protocol does not have parameters to be adjusted depending on the connectivity of the considered communication graph.

The proposed consensus protocols are based on the so-called time base generators (TBGs), which are time-dependent functions used to build time-varying control laws. Predefined-time convergence to the consensus is proved for connected undirected communication topologies and directed topologies having a spanning tree. Furthermore, one of the proposed protocols is based on the super-twisting controller, providing robustness against disturbances while maintaining the predefined-time convergence property. The performance of the proposed methods is illustrated in simulations, and it is compared with finite-time, fixed-time, and predefined-time consensus protocols. It is shown that the proposed TBG protocols represent an advantage not only in the possibility to define a set...
Tertimuss is a simulation environment for designing and testing Real Time multiprocessor schedule... more Tertimuss is a simulation environment for designing and testing Real Time multiprocessor schedulers subject to thermal constraints. It consists of four modules. The fist module allows defining the system (processors, tasks) and their parameters. The second module automatically build a TCPN model, generating the state and thermal equations. The third module is for selecting, modifying or adding and parameterizing the scheduling algorithm. The fourth module allows the user to perform simulations and collect, process and plot results. The parameters of the tasks can be defined either manually or automatically (by means of the integrated UUnifast algorithm).
