Whilst the data is accessed by an illegitimate individual, it may lead to malicious attack or any modification of medical image may result in misdiagnosis. In this paper, both encryption and steganography technique is employed to improve the security of both patient's privacy information and the medical image. The host medical image undergoes Contourlet Transform to provide the innate geometrical structures of an image like curves instead of points and it offers the directionality and anisotropy property. Next, the patient privacy information is embedded over the High frequency components of a transformed image using LSB embedding algorithm. Finally the data concealed image is encrypted using LBG algorithm to ensure security. The superiority of the system is analyzed by some of the critical performance metrics such as MSE (Mean Square Error), PSNR (Peak signal to noise ratio), and SSIM (structural similarity index).

The incidence of stroke continues to rise particularly among young individuals. Given the paucity of data and lack of reliable reporting mechanisms, understanding the epidemiology of stroke in India is challenging. This study aims to review the prevalence of stroke in a tertiary care hospital in southern India. Methods: The study includes all the Stroke patients admitted in Government Rajaji Hospital and Madurai Medical College, Madurai during the period of 01 January 2018 to 31 December 2018.Results: A total of 1168 patients were taken into study, there were 779 males and 389 females. There were a total of 848 ischaemic stroke patients (72.60%), when compared to 320 haemorrhagic stroke patients 27.39%. Anterior circulation stroke prevalence was higher (88.27%) when compared to posterior circulation stroke. A total 498 patients (42.63%) belonged to the age group of 40 to 60 years.Co...

These extra features in a vehicle increase the complexity of the software in ECUs. Model-Based Software Development (MBSD) is widely used in automotive software development in order to reduce the cost and time meanwhile ensuring the safety of the product. This chapter explains the concept of MBSD in the automotive domain. This chapter also discusses the tools and techniques available in the market for Model-Based Software Development with provision of auto code generation. MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow-based modeling approach is described with a brief introduction to Unified Modeling Language.
