More importantly, is the perceived danger real and will the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions avert the perceived danger? Although there are many uncertainties to be resolved, it is clear that the community has been the subject of more than two decades of heavily biased propaganda.

Australia's wealth continues to be generated through pastoralism and agriculture and hence planning for a safe future is very vital.
The erosion and subsequent mixing to the environment of the updraft of mesoscale convective cloud... more The erosion and subsequent mixing to the environment of the updraft of mesoscale convective clouds is examined and modeled as a mechanism for the thermal modification of the cloud environment. Atmospheric soundings made near the cloud edge of mesoscale convective systems at Anaco, Venezuela during project VIMHEX* indicate that these systems are a sink of heat to the prevailing airflow. The convective mixing model is shown to be capable of explaining this heat exchange and thermal modification. To simulate the effect of an intensifying tropical disturbance the model is applied with higher values of updraft equivalent potential temperature. The model demonstrates that the convective clouds are transformed from a net sink to a net source of heat in the troposphere and remain in phase with the observed thermal changes of tropical disturbances. * Venezuelan International Meteorological and Hydrological Experiment

Neither of these assumptions is supported by empirical evidence, and both have been under scientific challenge for many years by a large body of qualified and independent scientists. Cognisant of these facts, Senator Steve Fielding has posed three direct questions to the Minister for Climate Change, Senator Penny Wong, in order to clarify whether or not evidence exists that human carbon dioxide emissions are causing dangerous global warming, as alleged by the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The Minister’s replies to the Fielding questions drew heavily on IPCC arguments and advice. Parliament, in preparing to implement policy based upon the advice of an international political agency,...
