Smoking can be a way for the youth to have them appear free and mature as they adapt to their peers. The decision to smoke may be a reflection of the problem of self-concept and influenced by culture (Potter and Perry, 2010). The concept of self develops gradually as babies begin to recognize and distinguish themselves from others. The formation of this self concept is strongly influenced by the care of parents and their environment (Tarwoto and Wartonah, 2011). Banyaknya penderita TB ini sebagian besar disebabkan karena adanya ketidakpatuhan dalam melakukan... more Banyaknya penderita TB ini sebagian besar disebabkan karena adanya ketidakpatuhan dalam melakukan pengobatan Obat Anti Tuberkulosis (OAT) sehingga bakteri TB menjadi kebal atau penderita menjadi resisten terhadap OAT. Kepatuhan penderita TB tuberkulosis dalam menjalani pengobatan merupakan hal utama dalam keberhasilan pengobatan. Dukungan sosial dari keluarga dan teman-teman kelompok pendukung dapat dibentuk untuk membantu kepatuhan pasien dalam menjalani pengobatan. Ketika mendapatkan dukungan, seseorang akan merasa dicintai, dihargai, dan diakui serta membuat dirinya lebih berarti. Adapun bentuk dukungan yang dapat diberikan kepada penderita TB penderita tuberkulosis paru adalah dalam bentuk peer group support yang dapat berupa dukungan positif pada setiap kegiatan yang dilakukan. Perkembangan media sosial dengan berbagai fitur yang dapat diakses dimanapun membuat semakin bany... more Perkembangan media sosial dengan berbagai fitur yang dapat diakses dimanapun membuat semakin banyak pengguna media sosial dari berbagai kalangan seperti remaja. Penggunaan media sosial dengan berbagai dampaknya perlu disosialisasikan kepada remaja karena saat ini media sosial memiliki dampak positif dan negatif terhadap kesehatan fisik dan mental. Tujuan umum dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan remaja tentang dampak positif dan negatif penggunaan media sosial bagi kesehatan jiwa. Metode dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pendidikan kesehatan dengan pendekatan peer group. Hasil kegiatan ini didaptkan pre-test dan post-test, terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dengan nilai rata-rata pre-test 78,6 dan post-test 96,6. Perbedaan peningkatan nilai rata-rata yaitu sebesar 18,1. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Poster Diet Pattern od the First 1000 Days of Life on the knowledge of pregnant women in the prevention of stunting in Puskesmas Rambah. This research is an interventional study by providing health education with 2 different groups. Subject were 30 pregnant women in Menaming and Suka Maju Village.
