The ratio of female to male patients varies from 10:1 to 20:1, with a lifetime frequency of 3 per cent. The majority of bulimic individuals also suffer from other mental illnesses, such as depression or anxiety. Additionally, there is a correlation between substance misuse and promiscuity. Bulimia nervosa was initially identified as a "chronic phase of anorexia nervosa" in 1979 by British psychiatrist Gerald Russell. During this stage, patients overeat and resort to compensatory methods such as self-induced vomiting, laxatives, or extended periods of deprivation. For three

Low-intake dehydration is the consequence of consuming insufficient amounts of pure water, which increases the osmolality of both compartments and resulting in the loss of intracellular and extracellular fluid. Clinically, volume depletion affects the interstitial compartment and is brought on by excessive losses of fluid and salt, especially sodium and occasionally other elements. The main cause of the fluid loss is a decrease in extracellular volume (ECV); the serum osmolality will either be low or normal. From a physiological standpoint, it makes sense that many clinicians refer to any loss of total body water as dehydration in their routine clinical practice. Most people who have mild to moderate dehydration as a result of vomiting, diarrhoea, or fever can recover by drinking more liquids, such water. Full-strength fruit juice and soft drinks might make diarrhoea worse. If you work outside or exercise in hot or muggy weather, your best bet is cool water. The best way to treat dehydration is to replenish the body with enough of fluids, such as water, diluted squash, or diluted fruit juice. A salty snack can help you replace lost salt, while a sweet drink can help you replace lost sugar. We go over the causes, prevalence, accessible therapies, and present state of dehydration in this review study.

You might not notice the symptoms at first because they can appear so slowly. A thorough dilated eye exam is the only way to determine if you have glaucoma. While there is no known cure for glaucoma, vision protection and damage can frequently be stopped with early intervention. Primary open-angle and angle-closure glaucoma, as well as secondary open and angle-closure glaucoma, are the four main types of adult glaucoma. Prescription eye drops are the most popular form of treatment for glaucoma. They function by reducing intraocular pressure and shielding your optic nerve from harm. Although these eye drops cannot reverse vision loss or treat glaucoma, they can prevent glaucoma from worsening. Prostaglandins are one type of prescription eye drop medication. By increasing the fluid's outflow Review Article P) or Qoliana (Iopidine, apraclonidine) Beta-blockers such as Betimol, Istalol, Timoptic (timolol), and Betoptic (betaxolol) Inhibitors of carbonic anhydrases, such as Azopt (brinzolamide) and Trusopt (dorzolamide). In this review study, we discuss the aetiology, epidemiology, current management, and pathophysiology of glaucoma.

Multiple viruses belonging to distinct families are the cause of this illness. The viruses that cause VHF are categorized into seven distinct families according to the International Committee on Taxonomy of Viruses' most recent classification: Hantaviridae, Nairoviridae, Filoviridae, Phenuiviridae, Paramyxoviridae, Arenavidae, and Flaviviridae are the families involved. The concept of virus hemorrhagic fevers (VHFs) originated in the 1930s when Soviet researchers were studying hantaviral hemorrhagic fever (HF) with renal dysfunction. Dengue fever/Dengue haemorrhagic fever and Kyasanur forest sickness are the two most common viral hemorrhagic fevers (VHF) in India that are transmitted by arthropod vectors. The diagnosis of community-acquired pneumonia (CCHF) in India is greatly hampered by the co-occurring symptoms of hemorrhagic fevers such as dengue, Kyasanur forest sickness, Hantavirus hemorrhagic fever, and other illnesses such as leptospirosis, meningococcal infections, and malaria. The pathophysiology, aetiology, diagnosis, treatment, symptoms, and indicators of virus hemorrhagic fevers (VHFs) are all covered in this review article.

PUD is caused by a defect in the mucosa of the stomach or duodenum that extends beyond the muscularis mucosa. PUD is the consequence of an imbalance between the aggressive and defensive elements impacting the mucosa, which occurs after gastric mucosal lesions. Peptic ulcer disease (PUD) is a widespread ailment affecting 5-10% of the world's population, with notable racial and regional variations. As a result of an imbalance between the aggressive and defensive elements impacting the mucosa, comes gastric mucosal injuries. The word "peptic" comes from the hormone pepsin, which is essential in causing mucosal breakdown.

TB poses a burden for public health because of its high incidence, morbidity, and death in recent decades, where the sanitary emergency has been since. The prevalence of tuberculosis in India is estimated to be 5.05 per 1,000 persons across all subtypes, with 2.27 per 1,000 cases being smear-positive and an annual average of 84 smear-positive cases per 100,000 people. By exploiting immune-mediated lung damage in individuals with active disease, Mycobacterium TB has developed an incredibly efficient aerosol transmission technique. The size of this reaction is reflected by the estimate that one-third of the world's population has developed one. An antigen-specific T-cell response in exposed contacts can be utilised to determine successful transmission. About one in ten individuals in this infected community get active tuberculosis (TB), often a few years after exposure, although continuing to have a lifetime risk of contracting the illness. To create new approaches and delivery systems for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases as well as to improve the qualities of already created systems, nanotechnology can comprehensively examine and utilise innovative elements and properties of materials. Interestingly, nanotechnology could improve and promote the use of innovative drug/antigen delivery systems by fusing and integrating the most recent knowledge of nanomaterials with the understanding of various biological processes. The alternative TB therapy, challenges, and quality of life are all covered in this review paper.

Overall, 99.7% of people responded, with 99.6% of males and 99.8% of women doing so. 1820 men (47.27%) and 2029 women (52.73%) outnumbered each other equally among the participants. The typical age was 45, 85, 16, and 19 years old. The medical management of cervical spondylosis includes neck immobilization, drug therapy, dietary modifications, and physical therapies such as traction, manipulation, exercises, and heat therapy. Since there haven't been any comprehensive studies comparing different modalities, these treatments are typically initiated based on the clinician's preferences or areas of competence. Comparing the effectiveness of various therapy techniques against that of no treatment at all is difficult and riddled with ethical problems. The most frequent symptoms are cervical pain, radiculopathy, or myelopathy. Cervical pain is predominantly transmitted by the posterior ramus branch and sinuvertebral nerve. Radiculopathy is brought on by nerve root compression. These comprise the sensory, motor, and autonomic systems. This review article discusses the pathophysiology, aetiology, treatment, diagnosis, and risk factors for cervical spondylosis.

One of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide is cancer. According to GLOBOCAN (2012) findings, there were 14.1 million new cancer diagnoses and 8.2 million cancer-related deaths. By 2030, this is anticipated to increase by at least 70%. The category of diseases known as malignancies frequently exhibit uncontrolled cell proliferation and spread. If the metastasis, or spread of cancer cells, which characterizes this stage, is not prevented, death may result. Hereditary mutations, hormones, immunological diseases, radiation, cigarettes, toxins, and infectious organisms are only a few of the internal and external causes of cancer. There are a variety of complicated, poorly understood causes of cancer. Numerous things, including dietary problems, certain illnesses, a lack of exercise, obesity, and environmental toxins, are known to increase the risk of cancer. The goal of nanotechnology, which is the study of materials on atomic and molecular levels and often deals with groups in the nano (10-9) size range, is to develop materials or devices within that framework. The discovery of novel optical, electrical, magnetic, and structural properties in metals, semiconductors, and polymeric particles that are generally inaccessible from individual molecules and bulk materials is the basis for nanotechnology. Cancer nanotechnology has been intensively researched and used in cancer management and treatments due to its potential to dramatically enhance cancer diagnosis, detection, and treatment. Mainly We are interested in studying cancer, its risk factors, and challenges in India using nanotechnology as a therapeutic.
