The specimens were collected on mushrooms and mushroom-associated trees. This genus can be readily distinguished from the other genera of the subtribe Gyrophaenina by the large head and the three indistinctly articulated labial palpomeres. A key to the known genera of Gyrophaenina is provided. A habitus photograph and illustrations of diagnostic characters are also presented.

Assynthesized β-Ga 2 O 3 nanowires have widths of 30-150 nm and outer shell DLC thickness was in the range of 20-30 nm. The products were examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), energy dispersed spectrometry (EDS). In addition, outer DLC layer was confirmed by Raman spectroscopy, which shows typical two Raman bands at 1550 cm −1 (G peak) and 1330 cm −1 (D peak) corresponding to disordered graphite peak.

As nonlinear loads increase gradually in industry fields, harmonic current generated in the electric power network system also increases. Harmonic current makes a power network current distorted and generates heat, vibration, noise in the power machinery. Many approaches have been applied to compensate

Therefore, by the use of a DSP controller instead of using the analog controller UC3879, a phase-shifted zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) full-bridge (FB) DC/DC power converter can be controlled easily. Especially in future, the hybrid solar energy generation system with battery and fuel cell will be widely used as an independent distributed power generation system. In this paper, a solar power hybrid home generation system using a contactless power supply (CPS) that can transfer an electric power without any mechanical contact is proposed. The proposed system consists of a ZVS boost converter, a half bridge LLC resonant converter and contact-less transformer.

Maximum intensity projection (MIP) is a volume rendering technique that determines the pixel inte... more Maximum intensity projection (MIP) is a volume rendering technique that determines the pixel intensity as the maximum of all values sampled along the viewing direction. MIP has been successfully applied to diagnose bone fractures in computed tomography (CT) and the stenosis of vascular structures in magnetic resonance angiography (MRA). However, MIP has a major drawback in that the depth and occlusion information cannot be perceived in the output images. The most universal way to alleviate this problem is to occasionally change the viewpoint for depth perception. To support this function in real time, MIP should be performed at an interactive frame rate. We develop an efficient rendering algorithm for MIP so that MIP is performed at an interactive frame rate without a loss of image quality. The proposed method predicts the position of the maximum intensity for each ray using blockwise maximum bounds, after which it performs bidirectional compositing toward both ends of the ray from ...

Due to this circulating current and RMS current stress, conduction losses of transformer and switching devices increases. To alleviate these problems, we propose an improved three-level zero voltage and zero current switching (ZVZCS) DC/DC converter using a tapped inductor, a snubber capacitor and two snubber diodes attached at the secondary side of transformer. The proposed ZVZCS converter is verified on a 7 kW, 30 kHz experimental prototype
