Computer simulation based on the coupled map lattices has been carried out for morphologies of th... more Computer simulation based on the coupled map lattices has been carried out for morphologies of the diblock copolymeric system under applied periodic shear deformation. The main effort is concentrated on the influence of pre-annealing history on the larnellae orientations in dynamically sheared diblock copolymers. It is found that whatever the quenching temperature is, the perpendicular orientation (i. e. the larnellae normal is parallel to the vorticity axis) is always observed if the dynamic shear deformation with shear amplitude r= 1.0 and reduced shear frequency 0 = 0.005 is applied during annealing. In contrast to that, the parallel orientation (i. e. the lamellae normal is parallel to the velocity gradient direction) is observed if the dynamic shear with the same amplitude and frequency is applied to a thoroughly annealed (with the annealing time r>4 000) diblock copolymer. Therefore, it is pointed out that the selection of lamellar orientations in dynamically sheared diblock copolymers is not solely dependent on the shear frequency and the quench depth, the pre-annealing history has a very strong influence on the selection of lamellar orientations. Thus, the contradictions existing in literature could be explained according to the thermal history of the samples and the results of this study.

Barley grain is a complex trait controlled by QTL,and RING E3 ubiquitin ligase plays a vital role... more Barley grain is a complex trait controlled by QTL,and RING E3 ubiquitin ligase plays a vital role in grain yield and protein degradation pathway.According to the conservative region of E3 ubiquitin ligase family homologous sequences,such as rice,Arabidopsis,corn,wheat and yeast,one pair of specific primers was designed and used to clone the corresponding gene from barley by RT-PCR amplification.The results showed that a full-length cDNA sequence of HvYrg1 gene from Tibetan barley was obtained,which includes a integrity of open reading frame(ORF) 1275bp,encoding 424 amino acids(GenBank No.EU333863).Homology comparison showed that HvYrg1 gene shared 86% identity with rice GW2 gene reported in GenBank.Based on plant expression vector pCAMBIA2300-35s-OCS plasmid,we constructed a plant RNAi vector driven by 35s promoter,namely pCAM-RNAi-HvYrg1 to further investigate its functions on crop yield formation.

Objective To clone and sequence the VP2 gene of infectious bursal disease virus (IBDV) strain B87... more Objective To clone and sequence the VP2 gene of infectious bursal disease virus (IBDV) strain B87. Methods The VP2 gene of IBDV strain B87 was amplified by RT-PCR and cloned into a pMD18-T vector. After enzyme cutting, PCR and verifying the gene sequence, the sequence result was compared with 21 reference strains downloaded from GenBank. Results The sequence length of the VP2 gene is 1 536 bp, and the nucleotide homology of strain B87 compared with type Ⅰ reference strain is 95.1%-99.2% but only 54.1%-54.7% compared with type Ⅱ. Conclusion The majority of the virulent strain has a distant relationship to strain B87. The VP2 epitope can induce protective neutralizing antibodies because of two hydrophilic amino acids which have a large variation. This is also the molecular basis of trying to escape the immune protection of vaccine strain B87 and what causes immune failure and the prevalence of IBD in immune chickens.

To investigate the influence of additional device on the flow in marine current turbine, two addi... more To investigate the influence of additional device on the flow in marine current turbine, two additional devices for marine current turbine including short diffuser and long diffuser types are studied based on the test data of original marine current turbine. The results of numerical simulation show that the additional device with flange structure, compared to marine current turbine without additional device, can obtain more output power. However, it brings the inhomogeneity of additional device force as the increasing of effective output power. At same time, due to existence of the flange, two karman vortices are found behind the flange. The low pressure region produced by additional device and flange structure can speed up the flow around the marine current turbine, so as to improve the output power.
