ABSTRAK Permasalahan penelitian adalah bagaimana pengetahuan seorang dukun terhadap suatu penyaki... more ABSTRAK Permasalahan penelitian adalah bagaimana pengetahuan seorang dukun terhadap suatu penyakit, mengklasifikasi tipe dan jenis penyakit berikut penanganannya dan bagaimana seorang dukun dapat memperoleh pengetahuannya. Tujuan penelitian adalah menjelaskan pengetahuan dukun terhadap berbagai klasifikasi jenis dan tipe penyakit sekaligus menjelaskan tentang cara seorang dukun memperoleh pengetahuannya melalui laku ngelmu. Metode penelitian adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi pustaka, observasi, dan wawancara. Populasi penelitian adalah dukun, pegawai kantor desa, ketua dusun, dan warga. Hasil penelitian menemukan adanya sistem ngelmu yang ditempuh untuk memperoleh pengetahuan supranatural. Pengetahuan yang telah digapai dapat menentukan berbagai jenis penyakit seperti pelet, tenung, dan gangguan roh jahat. En el presente trabajo, basado en la idea de complementariedad de saberes/conocimientos, presenta... more En el presente trabajo, basado en la idea de complementariedad de saberes/conocimientos, presentamos el proyecto de extensión universitaria Materiales desde/para la interculturalidad en ámbitos de educación escolar y extraescolar gestado en la necesidad de debatir, consensuar, organizar y proponer formas alternativas de brindar información sobre y junto a los pueblos indígenas. Al describir someramente el recorrido realizado en el desarrollo de dicho proyecto señalamos las potencialidades y los desafíos que encontramos en el camino de aprender junto a aprender juntos.In this paper, based on the idea of complementary knowledge, we present the university extension project “Materials from/to interculturality in areas of school and extracurricular education”. This project was elaborated on the need to discuss, reach consensus, organize and propose alternative ways to provide information on and with indigenous people. Background: Early diagnosis, detection and treatment have been one of the main goals of reducing ... more Background: Early diagnosis, detection and treatment have been one of the main goals of reducing the mortality from benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and prostate cancer (PCA). The most common used screening and diagnostic tool for this condition is serum prostate specific antigen (PSA) level. Since PSA is synthesized by other tissues besides the normal and tumor prostate cells, the specificity of PSA as a biomarker for BPH and PCA has been called into question and may be improved. Therefore, other markers of this disease condition are being sought. Since gamma glutamyl transferase GGT is prominently expressed in prostate, we hypothesize that an increase in GGT occurs during prostate enlargement, and that GGT could be appropriate as a novel biomarker for BPH and PCA. Aim: To determine the serum levels of GGT in subjects with BPH and prostate cancer and compare these results with the concentrations of established biomarkers of prostate cancer such as PSA and MDA. Methods: A total number of 30 male subjects with BPH, 30 with prostate cancer and 30 age-matched controls were recruited for the study. Result: There was no significant difference in mean GGT levels between the patient (BPH and PCA) and control group. Similarly, there was no correlation between Serum MDA, GGT and PSA amongst the groups studied. Conclusion: Our findings provide evidence that GGT is not a sensitive and specific marker for detection of either BPH or prostate cancer.

Hope Family Program (HFP) commenced in 2007 served as a part of social security for the very poor... more Hope Family Program (HFP) commenced in 2007 served as a part of social security for the very poor households (VPH) to get their descent out from the poverty trap. HFP is focused on health and education sectors since both sectors are the core for life improvement of society. It has been implemented in 33 provinces with varying effectiveness. The purposes of this study were to identify the effectiveness of HFP implementation in Wanayasa Village, Wanayasa Sub-district, Purwakarta Regency and to reveal various related aspects that could potentially impact the success of the program. The study was conducted using quantitative descriptive approach by involving 41 participants from VPH joining to HFP implemented in the village as the respondents. A SWOT analysis was performed to explore the underlying issues as to the effectiveness, coverage, and sustainability of the program. The purpose of this study is to improve public speaking skills through ice breaking methods for s... more The purpose of this study is to improve public speaking skills through ice breaking methods for students of Penjaskes at STKIP Setiabudhi Rangkasbitung. This research method uses two cycles of action research methods. The population in this study amounted to 300 students and the sample in this study used a purposive sampling method totaling 50 students. The time of the study was carried out for 6 months from February 2019 to July 2019. The steps of the research carried out were compiling the planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The results of the study for 2 cycles showed that the Public Speaking Skill for students of Penjaskes at STKIP Setiabudhi Rangkasbitung increased by using the ice breaking method by 9.6 points. This is evident from the results of the measurement of indicators of public speaking skills in cycle 1 with an average of 65.6 and cycle 2 with an average of 79.2. Thus it can be concluded that the ice breaking method in the Curriculum and Learning courses can improve the public speaking skills of students of the Physical Education Study Program at STKIP Setiabudhi Rangkasbitung.

Therefore, it is important for future social workers to be well prepared with the appropriate attitudes about the issues. This study investigated factors associated with contextual acceptance of physical violence against wives that was derived from feminist, social learning and socio-demographics perspectives. Respondents were recruited non-randomly using convenience sampling technique. Respondents were 438 male and female undergraduate students with the average age of 20 years old. Participants were recruited from 2 private and 2 public universities located in the province of West Java, Yogyakarta, Maluku and Papua. The study found that students who knew well the victim of wife abuse, studied at universities in Western Indonesia, acknowledged themselves as Muslims, reported higher level of religiosity and endorsed egalitarian attitudes toward gender rol...

Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. Determination of informants in this study was using purposive sampling technique where researchers chose informants varied by 3 people and Informants from the officer 2 people.
