Twofold enrichments are achieved in a 1.4min dngie pass experiment, and 50-fold enrichments are attained in 20 min by circulation of an aliquot of electrolyte through a receiver loop. The dialysis rate is directly proportional to sample concentration and independent of sample matrix factors over a wide range of conditions; hence, quantitation of real samples can be performed with a linear calibration curve. In this method the metals in the dialysate are determined by differential pulse polarography or anodic stripping voitammetry.
