S.G. data streams are heterogenous and possess a dynamic environment, whereas the existing machine learning methods are static and stand obsolete in such environments. Since these models cannot handle variations posed by S.G. and utilities with different generation modalities (D.G.M.), a model with adaptive features must comply with the requirements and fulfill the demand for new data, features, and modality. In this study, we considered two open sources and one real-world dataset and observed the behavior of ARIMA, ANN, and LSTM concerning changes in input parameters. It was found that no model observed the change in input parameters until it was manually introduced. Manual attendance maintaining is difficult process, especially for large group of students. Traditional face recognition systems employ methods to identify a face from the given input but the results are not usually accurate and precise as desired. Some automated systems developed to overcome these difficulties but they have drawbacks like cost, fake attendance, accuracy, intrusiveness, etc. To overcome these drawbacks, there is need of smart and automated attendance system. In this paper, we present Attendance System by using cascade classifier with real time video as an input. Objectives: To evaluate the protective action of selenium against hepatotoxicity caused by methotrexate in mice. Study Design: Randomized, single blinded study. Methodology: Present study was done on 18 mice (n = 18) after taking approval from Ethical Review Committee. Administration of methotrexate induced hepatotoxicity. Selenium was administered along with methotrexate in order to evaluate the protective effects. The extent of hepatotoxicity and protective effects were analyzed by measuring levels of serum liver enzymes and histological examination of liver samples. Statistical analysis: One way ANOVA test was applied for comparison of biochemical markers between groups. Chi Square test was also applied for histopathological results. In this paper, the authors have developed a hardware model for blocking even and odd harmonics of... more In this paper, the authors have developed a hardware model for blocking even and odd harmonics of a power transformer. In the proposed hardware model, intelligent differential & over-current relays are used for the blocking of harmonics of a power transformer. The harmonic restraint function on the differential relay (7UT61) prevents the relay from tripping during transformer magnetizing inrush current. However, the over-current relays which are used for back up protection does not have a harmonic restraint element, and over-current relay trips due to magnetizing inrush current, causes unwanted interruptions and power failures. The establishment of harmonic blocking scheme for over-current protection in power transformers is an important finding of this research study. IEC61850 standard-Based GOOSE (Generic Object Oriented Substation Event) applications used in power transformer protection for fast detecting and clearing of faults is an interested study presented in the proposed work.

Direct dyes represent one of the cheapest and the simplest dyeing systems usually require only an... more Direct dyes represent one of the cheapest and the simplest dyeing systems usually require only an electrolyte for their application. They are widely used in the textile industry because they are cheap and the only problem is their fastness properties that were solved in this research. Different techniques have been developed to enhance their fastness properties, one of them being the use of a cationic dye fixing agents. Bleached jute fabrics were dyed with direct dye before and after the treatment of cationizing agents and their properties are compared. It was found that in terms of fabric rubbing fastness, washing fastness and K/S value, cationization after dyeing is superior to cationization before dyeing.c

This study emphasizes the fabrication of tungsten trioxide nanostructured rods and analyzes its electrostatic and ultraviolet resistance properties. These nanorods are synthesized by hydrothermal method. Through hydrothermal method rod like nanostructures were grown on polyester fabric as it withstands curing temperature easily. The growth mechanism of the film is investigated. Electrostatic analysis of treated polyester fabric was failed but the analysis of seeded solution revealed that it has tunable transmittance modulation under different voltages and repetitive cyclic between the clear and blue states. Ultraviolet resistance of 100% seeded polyester fabric was higher than untreated fabric with respect to increasing concentration of nanorods. Split cord malformation (SCM) is typically present at a single level but rarely, may be present a... more Split cord malformation (SCM) is typically present at a single level but rarely, may be present at multiple levels in the spinal cord and can be associated with a wide array of lesions such as myelomeningoceles, lipomas, teratomas, and dermal sinus tracts (DSTs). We describe a case of a 15-month-old female child who presented with high-grade fever and progressive motor weakness in the lower limbs. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed the presence of SCM along with an epidural abscess, DST, and dermoid cyst. The child underwent surgery for excision of DST along with removal of the dermoid cyst and drainage of epidural abscess. The postoperative course was uneventful. Elective repair of the SCM was performed 4 weeks later. The postoperative course was uneventful again. To the best of our knowledge, the combination of a composite SCM with a DST and dermoid cyst with associated epidural abscess has rarely been reported in literature.
